CANCELLATION POLICY: We require 25% down at the time the reservation is made. Reservations cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee and tax. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to check-in will result in full forfeiture of payments made. Applicable refunds will only be issued to the guest by the same form in which it was made, even if a credit card has since expired or canceled. The above applies to moving dates or switching units as well. We recommend that the guest purchase CSA Travel Protection. There are no refunds for early departures or late arrivals. If a guest does not show up for their stay the total amount paid is non-refundable.

"Great Getaway
We had a wonderful time during our 4 night stay at Ocean Shade. We were able to bring our dog with us which was a plus. The place had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the sofa had been upgraded from the one in the photo. The new sofa has heat/massage recliners which was a plus for our son that had surgery. The patio was perfect and private. We will definitely book again. "

The location was good. The bedding and sheets need to be replaced, they are very discolored. The main bed needs something it is very lumpy. Also, you could use some cookie sheets in kitchen. The mosquitoes where horrible. "

"Great North Padre Getaway!
This property was just as described and had everything my family of 5 needed for a great weekend getaway. The unit was clean,well maintained and nicely decorated. There was plenty of space for my family. The patio area was very nice to enjoy a cup of coffee outside. The beach was only a short drive away. We would definitely recommend this place and we look forward to staying here again this coming summer. "

Ocean Shade was very clean and spacious. It was well equipped. It was so handy having a washer/dryer and beach equipment. The decorations had a tropical feel and the rooms were very relaxing. It was on a nice quiet street."

The Ocean Shade cabana was a wonderful stay for my family and I. It has everything we needed and more. It’s location on the island was close to many souvenir shops and charming restaurants. Our stay there felt like a stress free vacation. We were a quick drive to the beach or we could take a quick walk to the pool. I highly recommend staying there! "
