THE SPACE
Lakeview Cookie Chalet offers a warm, upscale mountain atmosphere with vaulted log ceilings, natural textures, and generous living spaces designed for relaxing and gathering.
At the center of the home is a dramatic double-sided wood-burning stone fireplace connecting the living room and kitchen area. It creates a striking focal point while bringing warmth and character to both spaces.
The fully equipped kitchen offers plenty of room for preparing meals and gathering together, with a dishwasher, drip coffee maker, and the essentials needed for your stay.
The primary suite features a King bed, TV, electric fireplace, and attached bathroom, while the second bedroom offers a Queen bed and its own attached bathroom.
The third sleeping area doubles as the game room and includes a Double bed, cocktail-style arcade with 60 retro games, and board games. Please note that this space is separated by a curtain rather than a traditional door.
Step outside to the deck and enjoy the surrounding lake and mountain scenery, whether you're starting the morning with coffee or winding down after a day exploring Big Bear.

Pet Policy
Dogs are welcome for $35 per dog, per night, with a maximum of 2 dogs. Please keep pets off furniture and beds, and bring a pet bed for their comfort. No cats, please.
Baby Equipment
A Pack 'n Play and highchair are available upon request for a delivery and pickup fee. Please arrange in advance.
All homes come with cozy blankets, fresh towels & linens. Our dedicated cleaning crew has prepared this vacation home for your arrival & will clean upon your departure.
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with basic cookware, dishes, utensils, and a standard coffee maker making it enjoyable to prepare meals during your stay. Food and pantry staples are not supplied.
What we provide
Basic essentials for the kitchen, linens, towels, bar soap, shampoo, and conditioner are provided.
Bedroom 3
The third bedroom/game room does not have a traditional door and is separated from the surrounding space by a curtain.
Heating
The home features radiant floor heating. Radiant heating can take additional time to warm the home, so please plan accordingly.
Driveway
The driveway is steep. Four-wheel drive is preferred during winter conditions.

Guests must comply with Big Bear Lake's Good Neighbor Policy and applicable local vacation rental regulations.

"Family Reunion in Big Bear
The property was beautiful! Spacious and spotless. Gorgeous view of the lake, especially at sunset! Had a small glitch with the check in keypad but the management company helped us immediately. And a neighbor was gracious enough to share their driveway for our third car as we had family coming in from three different directions. "Game room" is a bit of a stretch but there lots of other things for the kids to do. Would highly recommend!"

"Great stay in perfect location!
We had an absolutely amazing stay at this cabin! From the moment we arrived, everything welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared. The cabin itself is big, spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The huge fireplace quickly became our favorite feature—especially since it snowed twice during our visit, making the entire experience even better.
The team at Big Bear Lakefront Cabins was outstanding. They were responsive to every single one of our needs and truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. On our first night, the power briefly went out, which caused a minor knocking sound in the radiant heater. A maintenance representative immediately reached out, walked me through a quick fix over the phone, and had everything running smoothly again within minutes. Their professionalism and attentiveness gave us so much peace of mind.
We also loved the added fun of the arcade game—hours of friendly competition and laughter! The cabin is located in a private, quiet, and secluded neighborhood, yet still conveniently close to a local market, major grocery stores, shopping, and The Village. It offered the perfect balance of relaxation and accessibility.
Overall, we can’t recommend this place enough. We’re already looking forward to our next stay!"

"Restful Getaway
The house is beautiful and true to what the pictures show. The driveway and steps were cleared of snow for us upon arrival - thank you! I wish the house was cleaner. The floors had debris and there are many cobwebs around the windows and those beautiful exposed beams. The bathroom counters were dusty and there was debris on them (looked like mouse poop) and in the dresser drawers. If you are going to try to cook in the kitchen, there are minimal pots and pans. I would suggest you check out what is there before grocery shopping. It was a quiet neighborhood with a great view from the deck. Overall, we did have a restful getaway."

"Boulder bay cabin
The cabin was large, 3 bedrooms but only 2 beds. It needed cleaning, dryer went down second day and was never repaired even after we notified mgmt. Company comforter on guest room bed had spots had to wash it before using it. Half bath toilet flush handle broke off, they did replace it but still did not work properly. Master bedroom toilet was not working properly so we stopped using it, notified mgmt. Company but no came out while we’re there, 10 days. Decking deck was in bad shape needed refinished. No supplies we had to buy dish and laundry soap and hand soap. Only one TV worked. You cannot easily walk to lake without going on highway. The dining room table area is very small and difficult to enter and exit. We had to clean the furniture on the deck it was really dirty. The entry up to the cabin is steep and narrow, with snow you need a 4 wheel drive."

"Beautiful Home
We are a family of 5 and stayed at the Cookie Chalet between Christmas and New Years. The cabin was well situated to the mountains, and beautiful. We had a hiccup with getting into the unit on time, but Kile and his manager rectified the situation in a very professional manner. The place has a terrific master bedroom and main room with fabulous fireplaces. We really enjoyed our stay and will return again, particularly because of how this company responded to our feedback. Thank you"

"Great cabin!
This cabin exceeded our expectations! It was very clean and spacious. It had a fun arcade (pac man) and several board games including a large jenga set. TV had great streaming services available. The wood burning fireplace was huge. The radiant (heated) floors kept the living space and kitchen warm and cozy. There were space heaters available in both bedrooms which came in handy during cold nights. Beautiful views from every window and a lake view from the living room and front balcony. Quiet street, felt very private. Only a couple miles from the village. The management company was amazing every step of the way and was very helpful. Highly recommend this cabin. 100% be returning! "

"The Cookie
The chalet was a beautiful property. There were a few issues like a broken window controller. The contract did not advise the propane in the BBQ was empty and its the renters responsibility to fill it. We had to purchase extra cleaning supplies to make sure we had a clean environment upon departure. Need a few more cooking pans but everything worked in the home. we had a wonderful time. We are planing our return trip already. "

"Lake Cookie Chalet review
Home was just as described with wood everywhere. Found some of the cutlery, cups and plates dirty. Wsas not happy about that since we were promised a clean home. Drip coffee provided was very poor quality. We ended up needing to drive out in the morning for having ur coffee. Home is very nice and roomy. Only floors are heated. No central heat so in winter, home will be rather cold. Fortunately, weather was warm for our stay, so no issues. Home is close to quite a few trails and restaurants which is great. Interaction with property manager could be made easier and better. "
