Old Mill Resort on the Gruene is the perfect place to stay whether a romantic getaway, family outing or just the peaceful setting to relax and reconnect with friends. Take a dip in the pool or relax in the shade under the pavilion. Our 1700 square foot fully furnished condo is conveniently located 1/3 mile from Historic Gruene and Rockin R Tube Rentals. Less than 2 miles to the Comal River Tube Chute, Schlitterbahn and 3 miles to downtown New Braunfels. Take in the live music, dancing, great food, shopping and antique shops during your stay.
This fully furnished 3-bedroom condo is on the 2nd floor (no elevator). There are 2 master suites with king size beds. The 3rd bedroom is an upstairs loft with queen bed. All 3 bedrooms have cable, Smart TV and private en suite bathroom with deep soaking tub/shower combo. Premium linens and hotel size bathroom amenities provided. Fully equipped kitchen with Keurig coffee maker, air fryer, Instant Pot, crockpot and food processor. Owners have also added a high chair and pack n play and medium dog kennel. Full size washer and dryer for convenience. 2 communal charcoal grills (charcoal not provided). Comfortable seating in the living room with a queen sofa sleeper cable, Smart TV and Wi-Fi. The pool is open from 9 AM - 9 PM. Come down and enjoy our beautiful resort today!
Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. This condo has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. 2 vehicles allowed. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor are of this complex is monitored by video camera. This rental includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival will result in a $50 administrative fee and the return of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival will result in full forfeiture of payment. On monthly reservations the cancellation policy increases to 30 days. We require 25% down at the time the reservation is made. We recommend that the guest purchase CSA Travel Protection. There are no refunds for early departures.

"Nothing short of perfect!!!
This was a quick little Spring Break trip, but also a 3-year-old granddaughter's first "girls' trip" so lots of memories were made. This condo was EVERYTHING we needed and more. It is beautiful inside and out and could NOT be in a better location. It was stocked full of everything we needed for our stay. We will definitely look at staying here again in the future and have already started sharing this with our friends. Highly recommend!!! The only downside of our trip was the fact that the location of the condos is near the railroad tracks and the trains start doing their thing in the super early AM. Just a bit of a shock if you are not used to living that close to a train. Everything else was perfection!!! "

It was mostly great. The only complain is that the ac didn't go any lower than I believe 74 and at night it got too warm. We are used to our ac being between 65 and 68. "

"Wonderful Family Getaway
This cabin/condo was an amazing place to stay! We traveled from Missouri for a family vacation and I think I looked at every rental in the San Antonio area and surrounding communities and this one stood out above them all! It did not disappoint once we got there either. Excellent space for our family of 6 with 4 kids from ages 17 down to 9. Great Kitchen for cooking (loved using the crockpot to put supper together in the morning and have ready for us when we walked in the door after a day of sightseeing or Schlitterbaun). Communication was great and pricing was excellent! Beautiful location and area to stay in. Lots to do and see! Highly recommend! 10/10!"

"Nice and cozy home.

We had a great time here. There was plenty of room for everyone, and the kitchen was well stocked with dishes and utensils. The porch was a great place to sit and visit and view the pretty grounds. It was near enough to walk to the tubing spot and the cool Gruene shopping area."

"Modern Texas Feel in a Great Location
We LOVED our stay here! The location was amazing - felt like a private getaway with mature oaks and numerous deer roaming yet just seconds to Historic Gruene. We found it easier at times to walk to the Gruene when parking was tight. A major toobing outfitter is an even shorter walk, can't wait to come back in the summer. The condo itself is very clean and decorated so fun, like a rustic modern Texas ranch, if that's a thing, haha. Very spacious even for our 3 families. The property grounds were very spacious as well with ample parking, very nice pool area (wish it was heated) and some wooded areas. Right across from the unit is the Event Center which makes for a nice view. The property management is on top of it! They respond and resolve any issues so quickly! A hot tub would make this place perfect but I love the feel of it more than other condos in town with those winter amenities. We will definitely make this our home away from home whenever we visit this area!"
