However the Padre Escapes staff remedied the situation immediately and things went smoothly. The only issue was the neighbors. Don’t know if they were vacationing as well or if they were locals but they partied all night and kept slamming doors and playing music until 4am so we got horrible sleep the first night. The parking said that there was garage parking for one vehicle, however we own a truck and the garage was too small for the truck to fit. The location was close to everything we needed for the weekend we stayed. There was an H-E-B, Specs, and Wal-Mart within 15 minutes and the local grocery store was within 5 minutes. The beach was also within 5 minutes but you did have to have a permit to park and drive on the beach. We really enjoyed the stay and would definitely go back."
