Pets Not Allowed CANCELLATION POLICY: We require 25% down at the time the reservation is made. Reservations cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee and tax. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to check-in will result in full forfeiture of payments made. Applicable refunds will only be issued to the guest by the same form in which it was made, even if a credit card has since expired or canceled. The above applies to moving dates or switching units as well. We recommend that the guest purchase CSA Travel Protection. There are no refunds for early departures or late arrivals. If a guest does not show up for their stay the total amount paid is non-refundable.

"Great layout for large group
We choose this property due to the layout, and that it could accommodate two teenagers in a separate space (the in-law suite). It was absolutely perfect for our needs. The property was clean upon arrival. We did enjoy ,and did use, the sun deck. Although the property is on the main road, it seemed fairly well insulated from the noise, and we loved having a few different restaurants next door. The only minor feedback we would give is, there was a faint smell of dog. We also do recommend a banister be installed on the second level of the staircase, as a member of our party did slip. Additionally, new patio furniture might want to be considered, as many of the chairs were quite rusty. Overall, however, the property was fantastic, and we would rent from Padre Escapes again. "

"Not Worth It!!!
Upon arriving at the rental there was trash left from previous renters, a broken chair, and a dead Rat!!! If you prefer to sleep on plywood the master bedroom is the place for you. The half bath was broken and for the amount of money you’re spending they don’t make up the top bunk so be prepared to be on vacation but still have to make beds. "

"Wonderful family holiday on Padre Island
Great location for visiting family on the island and in town, plus near the national seashore, Malaquite Beach. The property was really clean and well-appointed. We had everything we needed to make a birthday breakfast with pancakes and cupcakes! Enjoyed a delicious lunch at Doc’s restaurant near the bridge. The accommodations were comfortable for the whole family, from 4 years old to 76 years old. We would be happy to return!"

"Comfortable canal house in Port A
The house was more spacious than the pictures made it out to be. It was great to fish off the deck and have our evening meals out there. Our boys loved the separate guest suite on the ground floor where they could hang out and watch tv and have their own snacks. "

"Nice property
The property was nice, clean and the location was convenient. It has A LOT of stairs and was not very child-friendly for us. We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals and this one has just the very basics-one or two towels in the bathrooms, two kitchen towels, and no extras. Many homes I’ve stayed in have a coffee filter if there is a coffee maker, a few extra spatulas, etc. this home has the basics. Sufficient, but nothing extra. The location was convenient to eateries and CVS, and H‐E‐B was a short drive across the bridge. "

"A great place to stay!
During our family reunion, we hosted a dinner for our whole family here! This property did not disappoint! In general, our stay was great - the bedrooms were comfortable, the bathrooms were luxurious and the accommodations for our boat were super helpful. The MIL suite came in so handy! Would definitely rent again!"

"Padre Vacay
Overall enjoyed the stay. A couple of issues occurred, but Padre Escapes group took care of the issues quickly. The unit was close to several different beach access roads. Restaurants and some shopping were nearby as well. Having the canal located behind the unit was perfect. The kids fished and swam, while the adults sat on the upper deck and enjoyed themselves. One downfall was there is an elevator in this 3 floor unit, but it was not accessible. This would have been an asset for us with my 84 year mother-in-law and 100% disabled vet son-in-law. We would have gladly paid extra for the use of the elevator. "
