Welcome to the Condo 1106!
This spacious and comfortable poolside condo is ideal for a family beach vacation. The sliding glass doors make enjoying the patio even more convenient. With living room furniture, you’ll be able to relax with the family after a day on the beach. The spacious kitchen features river rock on both the backsplash and walls. It is fully equipped for a vacation of any length with a new stainless-steel dishwasher and microwave and comes with a stackable washer and dryer and a drip coffee pot. Each bedroom has been outfitted with new bedding. The primary bedroom has a king-size bed as well as a private bathroom with a walk-in shower. There is a queen and a twin in the second bedroom and 4 bunk bed style twin beds in the third bedroom, also known as the “Crow’s Nest.” For safety reasons, we ask that please, no one over 100 lbs go on the top bunks.
All the condos are equipped with private WIFI and have TVs in the living room, master bedroom, and second bedroom. We provide initial toilet paper, trash bags, bath soap, and dishwasher powder. Guests are advised to bring supplementary items if needed.
My family and I hope that you enjoy your stay in St. Augustine, FL. Since July, 2020, we have completed numerous renovations and repairs and are always looking for ways to make your stay more enjoyable. We have responded quickly to all previous recommendations. Updates and replacements for CRC 1106 include the following:
Take advantage of the recreational opportunities of this private gated community, including a large oceanfront pool, children's playground, two tennis courts with pickleball court lines, and a basketball hoop. Our indoor amenities include a heated pool, sauna, racquet ball court, and fitness center. Due to COVID-19 please be advised does not guarantee health, safety and welfare and that use of common areas and facilities is at your own risk.
The beautiful, white, sandy beaches are just a two-minute walk from buildings 1 and 2 and a three-minute walk from building 3. The beaches are accessible by car with just a short drive north to the Dondanville Road Access.
Only a 15-minute drive away is historic downtown Saint Augustine, where there is no shortage of shopping, dining, or fun activities for people of all ages. Check out the town's many historic attractions or hop on the Trolley to see it all on the go! You can purchase DISCOUNTED tickets to many of Saint Augustine’s attractions here in the office!
Saint Augustine has no shortage of kid friendly entertainment! Check out the Alligator Farm or the Lighthouse and Maritime Museum here on the island or head downtown for the Pirate and Treasure Museum or Potter’s Wax Museum for some good old fashion family fun!

"Great family resort
Love how much Colony Reef has to offer! The ground floor is so great for families. This particular unit I'm not sure how it's classified as a Gold unit, needs some TLC, too much clutter, seems dark inside, the storage box takes up a lot of the patio space and blocks the master bedroom sliding doors. Kitchen supplies are very low and just thrown in drawers and pantry. Unit smelled as if a dog was brought in before us, but the management company were quick to respond and try to help with the issue. "

The overall vacation was wonderful. The location is perfect. The pool and grounds are updated and perfect. The staff is helpful and polite. Our 2 Units, however, were dirty, moldy, mildew, dust in and around furniture, unkept. We have been coming to Colony Reef since the late 1980's - 25-30 years and we have never had dirty units. "Great location and a wonderful trip!
My family of 4 plus 2 more relatives had a great time at CRC 1106. The ground floor access really opened up the space since we could use the patio as an extension of the condo. A word of caution to families with teens: the 3rd “bedroom” is big enough for 4 bunk beds and that’s it. It’s really intended for little kids, not teenagers. My girls slept on the bottom bunks and were okay, but the lack of space for suitcases was an issue for them. We still had a great time and didn’t really stay inside much with the pool and ocean so close to the room. The Colony Reef staff was very attentive to any and all concerns, not for our stay, but you could tell they were constantly addressing issues from other guests. "

Overall excellent! Great location overlooking pool and hot tub. Indoor pool heated in poor weather. Short walk to ocean. Only "complaint" is that the curtain in guest bedroom was broken and needed to be replaced. Missing knives (but we bought some and left them there) "

"Great Place
We had a great stay and would stay here again. We usually stay at a different condo complex on Anastasia Island but this one is much nicer. We loved the indoor pool. Three minor complaints. A real BBQ (propane) would be nice. The George Foreman electric thing just doesn't come anywhere close to an true BBQ. Also, my wife and I both found the master bedroom mattress to be uncomfortable. Lastly, later hours on the hot tub would be good. As posted, it closes at dusk. However, in October, it's dark quite a while before a normal bedtime and is closed during prime hot tub time. "

We had a great time at colony reef! We stayed in 1106 and they had games and toys for the little ones! We loved how close to the pool it was, the grassy area right outside the door was so convenient for the kids to play while the adults relaxed on the porch. Close to the boardwalk for the beach, all around it was a great stay! Definitely recommended! "

"Great Winter Get Away
Colony Reef Club, is a beautifully kept property. They have two pools one inside for cooler days and aerobic classes. The outside pool with plenty of seating area. They have different actives for you to
join if your interested. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. This was our 3rd year staying here and we hopefully will stay again next year. Although each unit is different they do have most necessities. This unit could use some general repairs. Kept having to remind myself this wasn't home.

The type of coffe maker so you know what to purchase prior to arriving. The masternath sink needs to be replaced. It is rusting out"

Overall a good experience however a land phone line would be appreciated since not everyone has a cell phone. Mats & throw rugs should be thrown away also indoor trees & plants since they collect dust etc. Bad situation for those with allergies. The Colony Reef club is is nice resort with good amenities. Fitness center is ok. Outdoor pool is great. This particular unit is very convenient to the pool and beach access. View would be better a floor up. The interior of the unit is worn. Couch and chair were falling apart, bed was tolerable, but not great. Bathroom sink was rusting. Sliding door to bath was inoperable. The third bedroom is tiny - a closet. The owners had lots of stuff covering most flat surfaces and filling much of the closets (which had no hangers). "

Perfect rental. Great location and amenities. Only needs new couches and recliner due to peeling leather and duck tape used to cover rips. Needs cookie sheets to bake on. Dryer required 2 full cycles to dry any load, that was a huge inconvenience. Other than these things it was a wonderful and comfortable stay. "

"July 2018 Raulerson Vacation
The location of the condo itself was very good, however the cleanliness wasn't what I would say was great, picture in master bath which is put up by Velcro kept falling off the wall every time someone took a shower, took 2 days to get tv in one of the bedrooms to work, could not find a dust pan, grill outside wasn't the cleanest but had to clean it good so we didn't get stuck with a $50 charge for it, there was water inch deep under sink, didn't notice it until about the 3rd day and it started to stink, had to clean it up, turned in paper at front desk, however never knew until day we left that maintenance had even been there to check it. 3rd bedroom was all bump beds no where to put clothing and very had to get into, no room. Furniture in living room was tearing up, dining table was unbalance, really don't want expensive stuff due to people going in and out, however it cost for the week like it was an extravagant place. Overall I would have been more happy if it had not cost so much! Give it a 3 between 1 and 5."

Condo is small but clean and well kept. Location is excellent with the pool right off the balcony. Easy walk to the ocean. Beach is large and absolutely beautiful. We would definitely stay at this resort again, but the "exercise room" needs a major remodel. My husband and I were very disappointed- the equipment is Very dated, several of the machines are out of order, no windows or mirrors, and its pretty dark. "

Our unit is so tastefully done, it is comfortable and has all the amenities. It was very clean when we arrived and everything was in good operating condition. This is always not the case when you rent a vacation condo. The Colony Reef Club management were easy to do deal with and very helpful. This is our third year at this complex. The gym and heated pool are bonuses. There is no shortage of restaurants in St Augustine to satisfy everyone's taste.j

"Fantastic get away!
We love staying at Colony Reef and this unit was perfect for the adults. The open grassy area was just the thing for our lizard and frog hunting little boys, while we could keep an eye on them from the large open patio. The ladies at the front desk were so kind and helpful. We didn't want to leave, but will be back."
