You can sleep 6 in this updated bi-level beachfront condo. The first level offers an open and inviting floor plan with the kitchen, dining, and living areas, as well as a half bath. Upstairs you will find both bedrooms, each has its own private bathroom attached. There are two private beachfront facing balconies, one off the living area and one of the main bedroom, as well as a private pool-facing balcony off the guest bedroom. EL CONSTANTE COMPLEX FEATURES -Heated, saltwater swimming pool (heated to a max temp of 86 degrees in winter months) & hot tub -Poolside loungers, tables, and chairs -Laundry facility on site, $2 for washer and $2 for dryer (Quarter exchange at front office) -Gazebo with gas grills. Due to our frequent droughts, high winds, & burn bans, NO other types of Bar-B-Q pits, grills, or outdoor cooking equipment are allowed on the premises including parking lots, balconies, or patios.
CLEAN BED PROMISE -Padre Escapes promises to launder every comforter, every sheet, every TIME! -After every stay we replace all towels & linens (including the comforter, which most people don’t do) with clean towels & linens from our 5500sf laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations. CLEANING AND INSPECTION -We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards. -Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property along with one hand towel per bathroom. -These complimentary amenities are provided in the property as a convenience until you can go shopping: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge. -We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family’s arrival.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -A two-night minimum stay is required. -Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older. The guest must have a State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. -NOT PET FRIENDLY.

Reservations cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee and tax. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to check-in will result in full forfeiture of payments made. Applicable refunds will only be issued to the guest by the same form in which it was made, even if a credit card has since expired or canceled. The above applies to moving dates or switching units as well. We recommend that the guest purchase CSA Travel Protection. There are no refunds for early departures or late arrivals. If a guest does not show up for their stay the total amount paid is non-refundable.

"Runners Weekend
Super easy check-in and check-out process. Be sure to confirm your rental location on the property. While we did get the gulf view, we thought we were getting a 1st-floor walkout. Lots of stairs and no elevators. The only other inconvenience was there were no sheets for the sleeper bed and glad I brought my own paper coffee filters and Dawn for dishes. Could not locate either in the unit. Otherwise, a great place and experience. "

"Vacation
The bed upstairs that is listed as a "queen" is as hard as sleeping on the floor. I was tempted to go purchase a topper. I wouldn't have stayed another night due to that bed. It also seems small. We sleep on a queen at home and feel like we have more room but the real issue was how very hard the mattress was. The twins were very squeaky my children said. For the price, the bedding should be resort comfortable and it was not. Also, the door that is locked by the kitchen needs to be painted. just aesthetics of when you walk in. We also had nothing to clean with after cooking. A small bottle of something to clean the stove off with would have been nice."

"Well worth it!
Staff were always attentive to our needs. In November there seems to be numerous updating projects and we were kept well informed about it. Some of the furniture could be updated and more comfortable. "

It was a pretty nice stay. A couple of things. MBTH toilet paper holder is wobbly. Downstairs hat tree had a busted leg, but worked by leaning against wall. Towel rack in 2nd bath could not be used. "

We'd like to give a special nod to James in the office and James the ground keeper! Job well done guys! A recliner would have been nice instead of a wicker chair to sit in. "

Our experience and time spent at El Constante 203 was really positive, nice, and fun!! The complex offers everything and location is perfect. The condo is nicely decorated and comfortable. Will return here again I hope!! One of our favorites now. The views of beach are awesome!! Wish the owners would have the tall balcony chairs/table that 209 has, then that would be perfect!! ♡♡"

"A TASTE OF PARADISE
This place was recommended to me by friends of mine who now live on the island. The view and the location could not be beat. There are plenty of restaurants such as Scuttlebutt's and Docs, golf carts to rent and things to do. Scuttlebutt's has a great happy hour menu with 1/2 price crabs from 3-7. We ate there twice.
I got up at 4:30AM and sat on the balcony to watch the sunrise and enjoy the roaring ocean, wind blowing my hair and face and people watch as they drove in to watch the sun rise too. The view was just as the picture showed. With a view like this, you know there is a wonderful, miraculous God. Totally priceless. The condo was immaculate. The staff was very nice and professional and easy to work with. I would have loved to have given this condo 5 stars all the way across the board. However, while the condo is nicely decorated,very clean and can sleep 6 people, it only sat 3 of the 6 comfortably on the couch. The remaining 3 people had to sit on hard dining room chairs or a too small rattan one. It made it difficult for everyone to relax and get comfortable at night or during down time if you were not able to sit on the couch. Adding comfortable seating to hold all 6 people allowed would resolve this issue. It would also be helpful to have at least 2 towels and 2 wash cloths per person instead of 1 each if staying more than 1 night. Especially wash cloths. The mattresses are also somewhat lumpy and uncomfortable. Adding a simple topper would help to resolve this. Therefore, I gave the quality of the furniture a 3.
Overall, this is a beautiful place and location, with beautiful views that I would visit again. To make it more relaxing and restful, I would just make sure I brought chair cushions or a comfortable lawn chair next time if these simple changes have not been made. However, based on the excellent care, I believe Padre Escapes will make these simple changes to make it a total paradise. See you aga"

"Brand New Rennovation: Better than the Photos!
This is the first time that the condo was MUCH BETTER than the pictures. We had to be the first to rent the condo following the extensive renovation. From the new flooring, kitchen appliances and bathrooms, to all of the new linens, the condo lived up to the wonderful ocean front views from the master bedroom and the living room. My only suggestion would be to replace tub/showers or at least the fixtures as the old fixtures are very noticeable.
We enjoyed our 5 days in the condo and would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for an oceanfront condo that has all of the amenities. "

Overall great experience. The unit was a little run down, but clean. Was impressed with your app in keeping us informed, except when it really mattered -- giving me notice that the unit was ready. I had to call (after it was already after 4:00 pm and I hadn't heard from anyone!) Come to find out my unit had been ready for hours. Would have liked to have known that."

"Very dissapointed in unit 203
This unit is very dated, floors pealing off, refrigerator looks like it had been sitting on the beach for 10 years - all rusted, carpets were gross. I'm not sure how else to describe a gross, old, grungy unit. Whomeer owns unit 203 should rent it for $10.00/night because that's what it's worth. I am so GLAD I took my own disinfectants, sheets, towels, pillows, blankets because the condition of this unit made us feel uncomfortable - we did complain on the first day. "

First off, we arrived around 2pm, which we always do. We checked in, but were told that the room was being inspected so they would text us when it was available. It was 4pm and we had not received a text, we went to the office and they gave us our code. The condo was filthy. Walls, couch, floors, the bedrooms upstairs stunk. We had to close one of the bedrooms off and not use it. It was not a good visit, so we cancelled our July visit."

"Vacation by the beach
Overall, we had a good vacation. We rented the unit for the month of October. Great ocean view. Can’t say that the rental unit was though. It’s just worn out. For the money, I think the owner needs to put some of back for new stove and frig. The flooring is terrible. We’ve stayed at El Constante for years but no upgrades in most units. The side of the frig is covered with rust . Fan in dining room is very noisy. We’re not Ricky but if it was my unit, I’d never rent it in its condition. "

You just can’t beat the location of this condo. With two balconies overlooking the beach on the 4th or July, we saw beautiful fireworks all night long. This condo had everything we needed for a great vacation."

"Remodel/Upgrade Needed
This place did not feel clean. I believe because the floors are not inviting. Refrigerator rusted on the outside. Two microwaves, one above stove does not work (Remove it!!) and the location of the spare takes up cabinet space. The inside needs painting. This place is crying for a redo..."

"Good stay
The only complaint were the beds in the second bedroom (not master). The bedroom was decorated for kids and the twin beds were horrible. One made a noise every time you moved. Both mattresses were very thin which would be ok for kids but not adults. One dining room chair was ready to collapse so we put it aside so no one would sit on it. "

"We will be back!
The best view of the surf on the island. The weather was horrible but we still enjoyed watching the waves and birds from the sliding glass doors in the upstairs bedroom the living room downstairs.
The Boathouse restaurant up the street had great hamburgers and a view of the water. One morning we drove to Rockport to visit the Maritime Museum and had lunch at Charlotte Plummers - great view of the bay and excellent, reasonably priced seafood.
The management at the condos was very helpful and friendly."

"Great location NEEDS UPDATE
We stayed in 203. This condo needs major updating. Carpet stained throughout. Bathroom fixtures falling apart.Floors in bathrooms bubbling up from water damage. Freezer smells like fish. Beds were so,so. Employees were fantastic and very helpful. We had an issue with stove not working and they fixed it quick. All that said, the location is fantastic.Pool and hot tub were ok, dated but functional. If you want nice, look elsewhere. You want location, this is it."

" Oh, the beach life is for Me!
This was the third year we have gone to the coast for a family vacation. Me, my daughter, son-in-law, and grandson. During the week, at different times, my 4 other granddaughters came to spend the day. Our vacation "house" was exactly as described to us...pool view from one of the bedrooms, and gulf view from the living area and master bedroom. The rooms needed some updating, but, everything was clean and in working condition. The customer service could not have been better. The entire staff from pool person to desk person were helpful and always in a good mood with a friendly face. We went into Port A to eat at Moby ****'s, to the Candy Shop and visit all the gift shops. Mostly we enjoyed the sun, sand, shells, sea gulls, kites, and other beach people. We will be back next year to reconnect with ourselves and slow down for a few days. "
