CLEANING -CLEAN BED PROMISE: (Property Management) launders our standardized linen, including every comforter, every sheet, every pillowcase, every towel - EVERY TIME! -After each stay we replace all towels and linens from our 6100SF laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations. -Every property is stocked with bath towels and washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property, along with one hand towel per bathroom. -These starter amenities are provided for your convenience until you can go shopping and are not replenished during your stay: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge. -We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your arrival.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION -A two-night minimum stay is required. -A signed Rental Agreement is required prior to check in. Contracting guests of (Property Management) must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. Reservations cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee and tax. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to check-in will result in full forfeiture of payments made. Applicable refunds will only be issued to the guest by the same form in which it was made, even if a credit card has since expired or canceled. The above applies to moving dates or switching units as well. We recommend that the guest purchase CSA Travel Protection. There are no refunds for early departures or late arrivals. "“Not Worth the Money – Misleading and Poor Communication”
We had a really disappointing experience with this rental, and unfortunately, I can’t recommend it.
We spent over $2,000 on this trip—including $700 for this condo—specifically because of the advertised boat slip. We hauled our 21ft boat all the way from San Antonio and even rushed repairs just to have it ready. But when we arrived, we found the slip completely unusable. There’s a submerged 4x4 post cut below the waterline and covered in algae—it’s clearly been there a long time. No average-sized boat could use this slip safely, and yet it’s still being advertised as available.
We never even received info about the boat ramp. On check-in day, I had to send a message just to get the code and basic details after 4pm.
Inside the condo, the flooring was uneven throughout the hallway, which felt like a fall risk, especially for kids or older guests. There was also a strange, stuffy, unpleasant smell inside the unit that made it uncomfortable.
What’s most frustrating is that the owner never took real responsibility for the boat slip issue—just gave a half-hearted apology and brushed it off like it wasn’t a big deal. For us, it was the whole reason we chose this place.
If you’re looking for a place with a usable boat slip or a stress-free experience, I’d strongly suggest looking elsewhere."

"Lovely, convenient and well-equipped rental
Overall, our stay was very good. The property was convenient to the beach, clean, beautifully decorated and included everything we needed. Check-in/out was a breeze. We stayed during the week and it was very quiet.
There were a couple of minor things that we noticed that we didn't care for but didn't really ruin our trip. First was the oven, it was glitchy and didn't properly cook. We noticed that the oven light went on and off, so we think there may be a short. Second was the dishwasher door, watch your shins and feet because it just falls when you open it. There was a lot of difficulty using the TV, the directions left did not apply so we ended up logging in to our own streaming accounts just to watch basic television. Additionally the floor is noticeably unlevel in several places, so be careful if you are a little unsure on your feet."

"Bay Fishing Weekend
I had a wonderful stay at this condo over the weekend. The previous issues with the air conditioner and flooring have clearly been addressed, as both were in excellent condition during my stay. The location was perfect for a fishing excursion. The guide picked us up just a few minutes down the road at Pier 37 and we had a fantastic time catching our limit of redfish and black drum. The staff at the condo were also extremely friendly and helpful, making for a truly enjoyable stay. I highly recommend this condo for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient vacation spot. Five stars!"

"It was mediocre at best!
The main thing was we had to really lower the A/C to sleep At night. The vent in the master bedroom does not blow enough cold air into the room. The living room lights did not work"

Very nice clean place and close to everything especially the beach! The only thing I can suggest is that the posting for the rental be clear that there is not an assigned parking spot for this condo. I received emails stating park in your assigned spot and come to find out there was not one. "

"Island Time 3 month stay
Overall a nice property, nice appliances,good balcony, with a few exceptions. 1. Flooring was terrible. Where pieces had lifted up they were put down with duct tape. Would not clean well. 2. Bathtub/shower combinations looked cool, but were very difficult to stand in. Bottom was curved so they had very little flat surface on which to stand. 3. If you like a bed with a VERY soft mattress you will love the master bedroom. 4.The TV in living room would go off every hour or so and had to be restarted, got to be quite annoying. 5,We also ended up with a rodent problem. Owner and Padre Escapes were immediately working on the problem and did everything they could to rectify the situation. I stated that I would not recommend staying in this property. To clarify, if flooring changed, and if I was assured there had not been a mouse or rat siting, I would probably tell them it was OK. I will say that everyone at Padre Escapes was so professional and helpful I would most certainly recommend renting any unit they represent. Any problem was met with immediate service. You really can't ask for more.

"Condo was good for a quick trip
The condo had perfect location. Check in and out was a breeze. Communication with property managers was easy. The reserved boat slip was a plus. There were plenty of towels . Every thing we needed was there. It was well stocked. The only down side was the floor was coming apart and was duct tapped back together. There were loose tiles on the floor (taped in place) that were a tripping hazard. This condo has been renovated, but I was shocked at how poor the floor was. I would probably not stay here again due to the floor. "

"Very disappointed and disgusted
Let me start out by saying the condo itself was not bad. The management company was rude and disrespectful and the unit was not cleaned appropriately twice.
Found chips and crumbs under kitchen table. Feet felt grimy after walking around, feet were black after a while. Called management company and they tried to make excuses. They sent someone to clean floors while we were at the beach. When returning floors in living room felt much cleaner but then I found trash that was not ours on the floor of the bathroom. (Clothing tags and gum wrapper) Called management company again and the manager I spoke with argued with me about how he thought it was clean and was reluctant to come back and make it right. He finally gave in after arguing with me for a while. Very rude and disrespectful. After this floors were finally clean but then I found a trash pale that wasn’t taken out that was filled with trash that was not ours. Didn’t call back, what was the use. DVD player and set up was not user friendly. Like I said, condo was cute but would never stay again because of management company. "

"Sorry to say this, but we will not be using Padre Escapes Again
When we arrived to the rental and we walked in we notice the floors were coming up in a lot of places and it was taped everywhere to keep them down.They were even warped and un-level in places. The pictures made the place look a lot bigger than it actually was. I have a 7 month old daughter and I couldn't put her down because the stuff in between wood-tile like floor was coming out of the cracks and I was afraid she would put it in her mouth. The floors were dirty when we arrived. I went and bought a swiffer to clean them and it took over 15 wet clothes to get it clean enough that it wasn't completely black when changing it. The air conditioner would not keep it cool Even at night it would not get below 71 or 73 sometimes and it was hot in there. The drain in the sink seemed to stay clogged most of the time. The battery in the nest fire alarm was going out and there were light bulbs that didn't work in the lamps when we arrived so we had to change all of that ourselves. We actually left the property 2 weeks early and moved somewhere else. They had an air conditioner guy come out once. It seemed to help a little bit but the next few days were cooler and when it got warm again outside we realized it was not any better. It takes their thermostat at least two hours to move 1 or 2 degrees cooler. Sometimes 5 or 6 hours and no change. We were not satisfied at all with this property and would not recommend it to anyone. The people I spoke with about the air conditioner problem and also to make the reservation were nice and Im not the type to complain or make a hassle but this is just the facts of what we dealt with here and I decided to write this review so people do not make the same mistake we did. We were supposed to stay at this property for a month and it cost a lot of money and with us moving out two weeks early because we were not comfortable there and having to rent another place, it wasted a lot of our money. "

"Updated Condo
This is an apartment complex type locale-some units owned by the prop mgr. The interior updates are great. However my biggest complaints are Assigned PARKING SPOT although I was told we would get one -no resolution of that matter or call back or even apology for us having to walk from the street to our condo with heavy coolers and suitcases 2. the condo was not cleaned- not the kitchen counters, not the floors, basically beds were made and towels were set out & that's it. The previous guests medicines and sippy cups etc were still left in the cabinets with dirty dishes. I loved the facts that the kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans, kitchen tools, coffee maker, micro, can openers, etc. But until I ran everything through dishwasher & personally cleaned, they could not be used. Memory foam mattress was ok.Room fronts a canal so remember that when the water is low, there is a distinct odor. Great stackable washer and dryer and neat touch to provide initial supplies of laundry detergent and dishwasher tabs. Giant television in liv room with cable, and TVs in each bedroom was also great. The condition of the place, and lack of response from PROP MGR abt our concerns are disappointing compared to other VRBO locations. "

"July 2017 rental review
Short drive to Mustang island beach. Close to area stores and restaurants. La Isla Mexican restaurant is great btw. Property worked well for my family of 6. Love that it had a washer and dryer. Kitchen is tight, but worked fine for a rental. The blue lighting in the house is a very cool feature, lots of technology n the house that I didn't even try to understand. :) Pier was right outside the door and had a back walkway to the pool area. No noises or issues while there, I do believed we had a little critter that came out at night, but was reported to property management upon checkout and they were going to send someone out to check it out. Only negatives were that the wood floors felt dirty to bare feet and the sheet for the coach pull out was the wrong size, other than that great stay. "

This Condo was our favorite! Out of the 4 that we rented this one was the most kept up. It was fully updated. The only thing that I didn't like was that I had to lug a key around instead of having a code like the others. I would still rent again though."

"Spinnaker Condos - Corpus Christi, TX
The condo we stayed in was recently remodeled and up to date. The only complaints we had were some unruly neighbors on Friday night partying and being loud until 5am. It happened again in a different unit on Sunday night. Walls are paper thin and stomping from upstairs was extremely loud. The showers, while an interesting mold, were very slippery. My Senior parents had a hard time with them. The unit also had memory foam mattresses which were terrible. Believe it or not, the sofa bed was the best sleep in the house. Overall, not a bad stay. Don't think we'd rent there again, though. "

"Padres Escape condo
Overall we were very happy with the accommodations (this unit was recently upgraded and had new technology the "nest" and new mattresses) Weather was great and restaurants were especially good because we were able to get grilled and "non-fried" foods! "
