When you're ready to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, look no further than this beachfront retreat. Your family will love having the beach right outside your front door as well as access to a sparkling heated pool and hot tub. This is a first floor, single-story condo, that does allow pets so pack up the kids and dog and come enjoy a few days on the beach.

-Gazebo with gas grills. Due to our frequent droughts, high winds, & burn bans, NO other types of Bar-B-Q pits, grills, or outdoor cooking equipment are allowed on the premises including parking lots, balconies, or patios
CLEAN BED PROMISE
-Padre Escapes promises to launder every comforter, every sheet, every TIME!
-After every stay we replace all towels & linens (including the comforter, which most people don’t do) with clean towels & linens from our 5500sf laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
CLEANING AND INSPECTION
-We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These complimentary amenities are provided in the property as a convenience until you can go shopping: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family’s arrival.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older. The guest must have a State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID.
-PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: MAXIMUM OF TWO PETS/WEIGHT RESTRICTION OF 50LBS OR LESS. There is a $100 per pet fee for all stays 7 days or less, $200 for stays of 8-29 days and $300 for stays of 30 days or greater. In addition, there is also a pet-cleaning fee of $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days and $100 for stays of 30+ days.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We require 25% down at the time the reservation is made. Reservations cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee and tax. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to check-in will result in full forfeiture of payments made. Applicable refunds will only be issued to the guest by the same form in which it was made, even if a credit card has since expired or canceled. The above applies to moving dates or switching units as well. We recommend that the guest purchase CSA Travel Protection. There are no refunds for early departures or late arrivals. If a guest does not show up for their stay the total amount paid is non-refundable.

"A great getaway
Beautiful condo located right on the beach. We had a great stay. The unit is in great shape considering its age. Only problem was on the the last night of our stay the AC decided to stop working. Luckily it was November and a cold front had moved in so we just opened windows to cool off. We have stayed at this complex several times before and shall probably return. Pet friendly is a plus for us (except for the rude guest who did not pick up after their dog on the sidewalk :( Lovely decor. Nice mattress. Everything worked in the kitchen. They need a large boil pot, though. I wish the weather had cooperated, but it rained most of our time there. Highly recommended. Many thanks."

We got a text that there was going to be construction above two neighboring rooms. In fact there was construction each day above our room. We let this pass as it did stop late afternoon each day. On the last day I had some medical issues that were enhanced by the noise. We asked for a refund for that day and was told we would get a call from a manager. The person we talked to could not approve that request. We never did get a call or credit for that night. Also we never got a call from management"

We enjoyed our stay in 106! This is the only beachfront condo that allows dogs and it was just perfect for our little December getaway! The condo is cozy and had everything we needed to make us comfortable. The great thing about staying in a beachfront unit is even when the weather is bad, you can still enjoy the beach by sitting on the little patio or just sitting inside and looking out the window. We will definitely be back."

We have recently discovered El Constante, a condo with a beachfront where we can bring our dog too! The only thing I would change if I lived there would be a quieter fridge as well as HVAC, add a garbage disposal and a faucet in the kitchen that rotates better. The best thing is being able to bring our pet. This is the only beachfront that does and we thank you for that."

The location is perfect and pet friendly. however, the cleanliness of the place was not up to standards, pet hair in the shower, carpet and couch. A pillow had blood stains on it. Used Clorox wipes and Microban to clean all door handles. The refrigerator door was almost black. We left the place cleaner than we got it. my mother who is 84, had numerous bites from the couch. The hot tub was dirty until we asked the desk to get someone to clean it. Also, a lot of children in the hot tub under 12. Will call the property management team. Would stay again, if this would be rectified. "

We loved the location of this beach front condo! We have stayed on this property several times but this is a first time facing the beach. It was safe to leave our beach stuff on the porch so we werent dragging extra sand in. The one thing I would say is to bring your own cooking utensils. The ones there are very flimsy and are difficult to use. Also the ice maker takes a good day to produce one thing of ice so use the ice trays that are provided. "

"Fabulous Location! Outstanding View! Steps to the Beach!
We rent a lot of properties all over the U.S. and this was one of the best we've ever stayed in! You can't beat the location of the condo--just steps to the beach. A patch of grass for our doggies. On the first floor. Perfect! The condo is comfortable and has everything you'd need. In spite of the contract saying no rescheduling, Padre Escapes allowed us to reschedule our trip as we were originally going to be there the week Texas experienced the terrible snow and cold weather with power outages. So grateful to the staff at Padre Escapes! I'd highly recommend staying in unit 106K at El Constante!"

We really enjoyed our stay. The weather was cold but nice for a beach fire and we loved being right on the beach! The pool was heated too! It was a very clean rental and it was welcoming with the heat on and the tv playing jazz when we walked in. It was great and we will stay there again. "

We stayed in the off season so it wasn’t crowded. There were a few more there on the weekend but still wasn’t bad. Great view of the beach. What more do you want? Step out the door and you’re only steps away from the beach. Plenty of room for the two of us. My husband says the bed was too soft, It was fine for me. The couch was nice and comfy. Could of used a cookie sheet in the kitchen. Overall we really enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay again."

We've stayed at El Constante for over 30 years, can't beat the location. Love the easy beach access, unobstructed views, and the boardwalk. This time our unit was not as clean as I would have liked and hoped during this Covid time. Nothing major, just hairs here and there. And we had to buy dish soap. Unit could use a bit of updating but since we had a pup with us we couldn't be picky; I wish more units allowed pets."

When we first arrived 106 smelled like a cat had peed in the middle of the floor. We went to the store and got febreeze and candles and cleaning stuff. My son and daughter-in-law went and stayed in 107. My husband sprayed the air intake with febreze by the next day most of it was gone he also found a bag full of towels in the bathroom closet that had cat pee all over them he tied the bag back up sprayed it and we told the management they came and got it. I love the location and after we got rid of the smell or at least most of it we had a really good time. If we stay here again I will have management check the room before we check in."

Great beach front location. Clean room and no complaints about our stay! Only bad experience was the check in process. We were aware of the potential of an after 4pm check in since extra cleaning for COVID, but it ended up being way after 4pm since their notification system was “acting up”. "Property still under construction after Hurricane Harvey
It was nice to open the door and see the beach, and it was nice having the kitchen for cooking meals for our three night stay. Throughout the day, there was a crew directly behind our bedroom window. The complex is still undergoing repairs for damage from Hurricane Harvey that hit the coast two years ago. I had called two other Condos close by that told me it would be very loud at their locations, like jackhammer loud. The person I booked with for El Constante assured me it would not be noisy. It was extremely loud and not restful at all. The construction crew were redoing the balconies and walls of the units directly behind mine. The swimming pool was half draped with tarps to catch debris coming off walls being redone. The hot tub was not in good shape and the only time I checked, the temperature was extremely hot. The bedroom was cramped, and the bed frame extended at the base by a foot, causing me to receive two huge bruises as I was walking past to put my clothes in the closet. It has a very narrow path between the bed and wall to get to closet. The shower could use a thorough cleaning. The blankets in the closet smelled and need washing or replacing. For $200/night, I don’t feel it was worth it. "

We stayed with our two little ones at this beachfront condo. You have to get rooms 101-107 to be able to walk straight out your door and onto the beach. With 2 kids under 2, it was a little walk to the beach. With older kids, the walk is super easy; nothing stood in between you and the beach. It was nice sitting on the patio with a drink. We would stay here again. "

"Perfect Getaway
We couldn’t ask for a more perfect place for our short vacation. The condo was decorated well, without being cluttered. The bed was comfortable, as was the living room furniture. Above all, the condo itself and the entire facility was immaculate. Add in the front row view of the beach, and we couldn’t have asked for more. "

"A great beach trip with our dog
We have been to El Constante once before however this time we stayed in this beach front condo. What a great view, not to mention a tiny walk and you're on the beach. The condo stock was very sparse, no toaster, very few glasses or cookware, and one tiny hand towel for our 4 day stay? Come on, stock this place better! Check in and check out is a breeze with Padre Escapes, you just need a few more amenities."

"Relaxing
We had a great time. Condo was clean and nice. Beach was not our style. Do not like cars driving but this was a new experience for us. On the best two days there was some pool maintenance going on that would have been nice to know about. Very loud leaf blowers made it impossible to relax. We won’t be back to Texas but would recommend this unit. Loved the beach decor. "

"Fun on the beach
The condo was beautiful, well kept, clean & comfortable. All just as was shown on line. The location was perfect, right on the beach as described. Check in & out was easy & very accommodating. The only worry I had was there was no contact or confirmation other than the original email confirmatio at the time of booking. I started to worry 2 days before check in as I hadn't heard anything and I started to doubt all was well. I called the VRBO# but they said all they could tell me was the owner would contact me a few hours before check in to give me check in info. That is what happened, it just would have been nice to know that a head of time."

"Location, Location, Location
The location was absolutely prefect. And being on the ground floor with our dog was a plus and made getting out to the sea wall boardwalk and beach a breeze! The unit was comfortable and perfect for us a just a couple. The pool and hot tub were an added bonus. The unit could use some fresh pots/pans/cooking utensils and bath mats. The checkin/out process was super efficient and the staff were top notch. A great mini vacay!"

"It’s not summer till we stay here
We’v been staying here for more than 20 years, but they never allowed dogs. Lots of dogs this year. Love that! First time in 106. Very nice. Like the shower. Easy in and out without the tub."

quiet & relaxing, but unfortunately we picked a cold, rainy day! still, condo was cozy enough & the view was still nice, especially empty of people & noise...one suggestion: add hooks on any walls possible for wet towels, purses, stuff - there are never enough places to put everything."

It was good. However, the cars on the beach are pretty off-putting for us. But it was lovely to look out at the beach and/or sit on the patio or walk the beach when we were in the condo. We spent most of our beach time at Padre Island National Shore...just 20 minutes away. "

Great location.... just feet from the beach and close to 2 wonderful fishing spots. Packery Channel Jetties and Bob Hall Pier. The pier has a great open air restaurant/bar on it with spectacular views of the beach."

It was a great place to stay. I am a light sleeper so the noise from the beach where they were using the tractors to clear the sand would make a beeping noise like an alarm going off and it started early in the morning. "
