-Padre Escapes promises to launder every comforter, every sheet, every TIME!
-After every stay we replace all towels & linens (including the comforter, which most people don’t do) with clean towels & linens from our 5500sf laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
CLEANING AND INSPECTION
-We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These complimentary amenities are provided in the property as a convenience until you can go shopping: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family’s arrival.
-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older. The guest must have a State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID.
-PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: MAXIMUM OF TWO PETS/WEIGHT RESTRICTION OF 25LBS OR LESS AND CAN NOT EXCEED 20" IN HEIGHT. There is a $100 per pet fee for all stays 7 days or less, $200 for stays of 8-29 days and $300 for stays of 30 days or greater. In addition there is also a pet-cleaning fee of $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days and $100 for stays of 30+ days.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We require 25% down at the time the reservation is made. Reservations cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee and tax. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to check-in will result in full forfeiture of payments made. Applicable refunds will only be issued to the guest by the same form in which it was made, even if a credit card has since expired or canceled. The above applies to moving dates or switching units as well. We recommend that the guest purchase CSA Travel Protection. There are no refunds for early departures or late arrivals. If a guest does not show up for their stay the total amount paid is non-refundable.

"Favorite Padre Stay
We try to grab a Palm Bay condo every year we come to Padre - they have the best pool for the days or hours when the waves or weather are too rough for the beach. Best pool we've found in the area hands down with great plants too. A 90 second drive to the beach.
We love this unit's 2 car garage and best patio view of the hummingbirds in the morning. Has all the kitchen appliances you will need. Clean and comfortable. My kids love that the bedrooms are upstairs. "

"Not up to my expectations

"Nearly perfect place for my small family
This was the perfect condo for my family of three on our first vacation to Corpus Christi/Padre Island. We chose this location because it is just a couple minutes drive to the beach and had an incredible pool. Overall, a few things could have made our stay more pleasant though.
PROS: close drive to beach, awesome pool, garage with the unit, well stocked kitchen tools, nice/updated place with fairly comfortable beds, super helpful management to assist with check in and check out, the condo itself was immaculately clean.
CONS: the biggest downside was the state of the pool (we were there for 4 days and it was never cleaned, gross piles of sand/dirt collected all on the bottom with constant debris floating around, and I never saw anyone there for maintenance. It was a disappointment for sure), our AC also couldn’t keep up with the July heat and remained near 80 degrees regardless of setting (the unit could use some room darkening curtains to help keep cool during day during summer months), and some of the furniture (couches) were pretty wore out/damaged but still comfortable for the small amount of time we were inside.
OVERALL: We would love to stay here again because of the many perks and how well it worked for my family. But the cleanliness of the pool might make me hesitate. And I would need to pack some fans for a mid-summer trip if the AC isn’t able to keep up. I hope it was a fluke instance for both because everything else made for a perfect family trip. "

"Poolside Condo Getaway
Very enjoyable stay. The condo is spacious and outfitted with anything you could need.Pool is very nice with great area for younger children with shallow wading area. Beach is a quick 2 minute drive away. Padre Island National Seashore is a short drive away too. Also loved that I could bring my cat. People very friendly. I would rent again.

For the amount we paid for this rental we couldn’t have been more disappointed.
First, we were called several times in regards to maintenance issues from Padre Escales asking to come over to fix this or that. We had our two dogs so asked for appointment times so we could plan accordingly. The were agreeable to that but then would just never show leaving us waiting around for hours for nothing.
There were roaches in the rental. A lot of them. I understand being in southern Texas you mat find a roach in our home occasionally, but this was Every. Single. Day. Multiple times they would be a roach running across the countertops, IN THE DISHWASHER (which was nearly a daily occurrence) and in the master bedroom. We called and arranged for them to come spray the rental, but this did not work whatsoever. It was SO bad we actually left a week early, and found a new place to stay because we were just so disgusted. We asked for a refund since dealing with roaches for the amount of money we paid did not seem fair and they refused. They actually asked for the date we were leaving so they could try and rebook it right away. I told them I could not believe they would try and rent it out again so soon considering the extent of the roach problem it had!!!
So, if you want to spend your money and vacation time living with roaches and interruptions this is your place. Horrible, horrible experience. "

"Nice location but needs updating...
Great location! However, carpet is old and dirty. Didn’t appear to be vacuumed everywhere either nor cleaned well. Found Gatorade bottle underneath the couch. The garage had broken glass from a beer bottle or something so needed to clean before pulling our vehicle in. Patio was a mess too and spiderwebs everywhere. Furniture was good for sitting out there due to cleanliness. Sofa bed was broke on the right corner where our kid almost fell thru and hurt themselves. There wasn’t a blanket either for the sofa bed. Tub didn’t drain in the bedroom that is over the garage. Which is common and property managers don’t ever check nor clean the AC vents or vents in the bathrooms. For the price expected better cleanliness especially in COVID times."

"Great Winter-Texan Get-away
We very much enjoyed our stay at Palm Bay Village this year while we were Winter-Texans. Padre Escapes took care of everything for us and when there were a couple things we needed while down there, we called and they responded practically instantly. Only slight negative was the unit we stayed in could use some paint to freshen it up, but I can also appreciate that rental properties take some abuse (NOT by Winter Texans though, we take care of others things). Everyone that we dealt with from rental to maintenance was helpful and a joy to deal with. We would definitely go with Padre Escapes again and highly recommend them. "

"Not as pictured
The furniture in the living room is not in the unit. What is there is some uncomfortable second hand furniture that the owner switched out. With the help of Padre Escapes the owner refunded $200.of our rent for the 7 weeks we were there. Palm Bay is a very nice complex you should look at other units."

This place is the best way to experience N. Padre Island. Plenty of room, clean, and very accessible to everything the island has to offer. The beach is less than a mile, the pool is right outside the patio, and having an attached garage makes it super convenient. We were very happy with our stay here. Would definitely try to rent here again!"

"A wonderful winter getaway
This is the 2nd year we have stayed on padre island with renting thru Padre Esacapes. We have once again enjoyed our 2 months on the Island. People are very friendly and helpful. We have enjoyed coming here so much so that we have decided to come back once again next winter and we are looking forward to seeing the good friends we have made. "3 Buoys review
A week in July. Unit located near pool, easy access. Kids loved the pool! A slight problem with sleeper couch, in need of small repair. A spring mattress a little uncomfortable, could use a memory foam topper. The rental management quickly accomadated us with sufficient air mattress & bedding to make stay a very pleasurable experience. a little pricey with all the fees but, probably no more than a hotel. Had a kitchen and rarely ate out, nice. A short drive to Padre & Mustang beaches. Yes We would stay there again. "

"Oh, Buoys, 3 Buoys
We decided last minute to go to the beach, but really lucked out when we found the 3 Buoys property. As soon as we opened the door to our unit, we realized the description and photos matched the reality. It was clean, spacious for the five of us and close to everything including a convenience store for forgotten items, the main bridge back into Corpus Christi and of course, the beach! The pool area was gorgeous too with plenty of chairs, play areas for young children and a waterfall and built-in bar/table for adults. The management firm communicated constantly making the check-in and check-out process very simple. We'd recommend it to anyone and plan to come back again!"
