"Condo 907 at The Ashworth.
Was very unhappy with this condo. The carpet in bedrooms was nasty to say the least. There were cobwebs on the TV stand. The toaster only worked on one side. The cooking pans were terrible. The dining room chair fabric was dirty with stains. Would never stay in this unit again. Was embarrassed for friends that joined us. JD employee at Ashworth was very helpful. The hot was out for whole week. "

"My 14 day stay at the Ashworth condo 907
me and my family, extended family and friends have been staying at the Ashworth location for the past 15 years. This was our first stay in the specific condo 907...the condo, like all the condos at the Ashworth was overall great. If I could give the condo owners just one bit of advice...The condo is very out dated. The kitchen and all appliances outdated, the beds are old and uncomfortable, furniture thru-out the condo is out dated...couch and loveseat appeared to be new, but kitchen table and chairs were bad and the balcony chairs were in bad shape. Simple things like the toaster didn't operate well...the handle on the sliding door to the balcony was broken and maintenance had to come fix it twice. The condo was clean and did provide us with a nice stay...but just needs lots of updating."

"Nice- but needs some attention
The condo was nice and was great for 6 people. However, upon checking in, I took pictures and sent in to assure I wouldn’t be hit with any charges afterwards. Carpet in 3 bedrooms were stained and very dirty. Needs replaced- tile would be better for a rental. The one bedroom had a torn bedspread and shade was cracked and broken. The pools were rather small. Chairs on patio were getting pretty worn and tearing away from the sides. We used out own chairs."

"Relaxing
The room was clean and had plenty of room for all of us (10 people) The kids had a great time and we enjoyed a couple of the board/card games that were in the room. The pull out couch was messed up but we were given a brand new air mattress that worked better any way. "

Location was great with amazing ocean front views. Close to restaurants and all kinds of shopping.
Only negative is the carpets need to go and furniture is uncomfortable especially for short people, which we probably wouldn't have even noticed if we hadn't been raining."

"Girls Get Away---50th Class Reunion
The rental was in a great location. It was oceanfront with an awesome view. The major complaint was the old and stained carpet, which made it feel dirty. The unit could stand updates in furniture and maintenance.
I would rent this unit again, refer to others, and pay more for updated and better accommodations."

"Great location, can walk to shops, pizza, etc.
Our vacation here was great. The only problem was the sleeper sofa was broken where your feet go and there were no sheets or pillow cases for it. We had to take a set of single sheets we found and made make shift pillow cases. The couch and love seat really need to be replaced. Other wise a great place to stay. Very close to everything! Perfect location!!"

"Not as expected
This condo needs new carpet in a deep cleaning. This condo needs new furniture in the living room. The beds were great. The communication with the realty company and us was very good. I actually expected a partial refund of our daily rate but that didn’t happen. Just kind a need to be off the market until the stuff is taken care of. It was dirty enough that the bottom of my bare feet was black after walking around throughout the day. And there’s definitely a mold issue of some sort"

"Nice Escape
We loved everything. We could go to the balcony in the front to enjoy the soothing sounds of the waves or relax by the rooms door listening to karaoke, we enjoyed that we all could go and do as we please without troubling each other. The hot tub was a great way to enjoy the night. We couldn’t have picked a better location, it was very convenient to the strip. We loved walking at anytime to get a variety of foods. The Melt had the best ice cream and Giorgio’s was the best Buffalo chicken & chicken bacon ranch pizza!
The carpet needs a deep deep cleaning or to be replaced. Ther than the carpet the place was perfect. "

Location was great!!!! Very close to everything. ( bars, downtown North Myrtle Beach, shopping) Furniture was ok, could use some updates. Carpet was bad. It doesn’t look that bad in the day, but at night when the sun isn’t shining on it and it’s just the room lights, it bad. Condo is well equipped with almost everything you need for a nice stay. "

" Disappointed!
We have stayed at The Ashworth many many times over the years, all great experiences. This time was a huge disappointment. When you first walked in there was that musty funny smell, well OK. Then you see the carpet, it was disgusting!! Luckily it was just 3 guys, if there were any females on this trip we might have had to leave. I actually took pictures so no one could say we did it! Then there were the flees. But enough, I could go on and on. I booked the same condo for the spring, make no mistake, I will be canceling that reservation. I understand this could just be a "One off," but still very very disappointing. "

This unit was great we had more than enough room for the family. Its not a far walk from main street. The only thing I would change is the unit needs a little up-grade but all in all it has everything you need to stay for a couple of nights or weeks. We will be returning next year!"

Great location. Property could use a deep cleaning throughout. Carpets and living room furniture were disgusting. Apparently the owner doesn't care since many previous reviews had the same complaint. Would I stay there again? Probably,but if the condo were mine I'd take more pride in what I offered guests. No problem with NBR. Property caretaker J.D. deserves a raise. Dave, not so much."

Overall we had a great stay. We always stay at the Ashworth b/c it is close to Main Street. Condo needs some updates and maintenance. Could smell the mildew odor as soon as you walked in. There was a dehumidifier but it had shut off due to being full of water. There were also containers in every room. Carpet also needs to be replaced. "

"Family Vacation
We had a great week in North Myrtle Beach! The location of this property is very convenient to Main Street with shopping, restaurants, and ice cream shops, and the views are amazing! Overall the unit was very nice, but could definitely use some updates to appliances, furniture (indoor and balcony) and removal of the carpeting. The building and grounds were clean and well maintained, but the pools were pretty small for the number of guests and tended to get pretty dirty/sandy. North Beach Realty staff provided great customer service and were very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend working with them and visiting North Myrtle Beach, but probably not revisit this particular property."

"Beach Vacation
Just a little updating could make a world of difference with this unit.
It had a bad odor, which left by the end of our stay. The maintenance man brought us air fresheners and had us run the heat while we were out. It took the musty/dampness out of the unit.
It could use New Queen size bed/mattresses every time you moved the bed squeaked. Made it very difficult to sleep if you had to share it with someone.
Great location, Nice facility, Prompt service, the unit itself just needs a little TCL...."

Ground in food in carpet from previous renters, food and cigarette butts on the balcony. I had to clean the kitchen and bathroom floors when we first arrived on my vacation. Also, the coffee pot broke and button exploded at me. When I called about both issues, nothing was done, and when I mentioned it at checkout, I was told “I should have called.” Loud music and parties at 2:00am that kept us up. I won’t be back."

We were down for a week of SOS Spring Safari. We love the convenience of the Ashworth condo complex. Unit 907 was very clean and well appointed. The agents at North Beach Realty were great! I will contact North Beach Realty first when searching for a beach rental. "
