"PROBLEMS AT THE UNIT
THE STOVE DID NOT WORK PROPERLY. WE HAD TO KEEP PULLING THE STOVE FROM THE WALL TO USE IT AND DOING SO ONLY TWO BURNERS WORKED CORRECTLY. ALSO SEVERAL LIGHT BULBS WERE NOT WORKING AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN REPLACED PRIOR TO MY ARRIVAL. THERE SHOULD ALWAYS BE A TOTAL INSPECTION OF EVERY UNIT FOR REPLACEMENT ITEMS WHEN A NEW CUSTOMER IS RENTING. "

The unit is large, clean and extremelly well equipped for the renters. We had everything needed for our short 2 week stay. One think I would say is the communication before sending either the management petsonels or technicianneed to be set to prevent either one of them to come multiple time. An agreement with day and time before sending people to the unit is important as most people renting the unit are their for vacation therefor going on the beach. With that said we had a water leek problem in the kitchen wich was fixe right away, thank you. All 3 materas are really really hard, we could not get a good sleep for a few days a we like it a little more soft. "

"A good stay
The unit was nice and modern. The decor was pleasant. The unit had almost everything you may need for your stay. There was an issue with the freezer but each time, the office did promptly respond and send the technician out and the issue was finally resolved. There was constant onsite security which was a plus except for the one evening around 8 pm when we were talking and laughing in the living room and the guard who had been sitting near the pool area came upstairs to knock on the door to tell us to quiet down. We were a bit surprised because it's not like we were playing loud music or having a party, just laughing & talking. My only recommendations would be to possibly reconsider the check out time which is early at 10am sharp and also put a full body length mirror in one or both of the downstairs bedrooms. Overall I was very pleased and would definitely stay there again!! I travel to DR often and hope this unit will be available for my stay next time! Thanks!"

"Best week ever!
The unit was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The staff were very professional and knowledgeable. With all the ceiling fans and the nice breeze there wasn't much of a need to use the air conditioner and for six days our electricity bill was only $25. The apartment complex had a gate and 24 hour security so I felt safe at all times. The beach was super close and restaurants too. Make sure you stop at the supermarket to stock up on water and toilet paper. I would definitely go back it was my dream apartment"

Vi bodde här en vecka o var helnöjda! Det var fräscht o rent, gott om plats och allt som vi behövde fanns. Alla sovrum har eget badrum o klädkammare så det kändes lyxigt o en väldigt stor fördel om man är några som åker på semester tillsammans, så har alla sitt "eget". Tre balkonger, varav en större med grill. Så man kan alltid sitta ute i både sol o skugga. Poolen var fräsch o det var lugnt. Nära till strand o flera restauranger inom 10 min gångavstånd. En mexikansk restaurang som ligger i samma kvarter rekommenderas, den var fantastisk! Elen betalas separat, vi var fem personer och använde bara fläktar o lampor, ingen AC. För 6 dygn kostade det 17 dollar. Mycket mindre än vi förväntade så vi fick tillbaka resten av depositionen. Man kan även själv kolla elmätaren om man vill ha koll. Smidig kontakt med Go Punta Cana. Vi kom sent så vi fick nyckeln i ett hänglås på dörren och blev incheckade dagen efter. Fick då också info om taxi, guagua, affärer o restauranger. Allt gick väldigt smidigt! Vi var jättenöjda med allt! "

we had a wonderful time at EDMH6. No issues while our stay at the condo. very clean condo and nothing surprise us (What you see on the photos is what you get. Staff was also very helpful with t-port to the airport and security was also very friendly and helpful with any questions we may have had. We hope to book this place again next year. "Great condo great location
There were 7 of us that stayed in this condo for two weeks. Size was perfect plus 3 bathrooms made it very comfortable. The kitchen is small with no dishwasher and we didn't have a toaster but realized later we could have asked for one. Upstairs patio has comfortable furniture and a BBQ. Lots of Canadians stayed here during our stay and we had a great time at the pool meeting people. The walk to the beach was easy - and the public beach was as beautiful as any of the resorts. Would have been nice if the condo had chairs and a cooler that we could take to the beach. The security staff were also very nice and was a comfort knowing they were there even though we had no safety issues the whole time we were in Punta Cana. We used the bus several times to go to Palma Real which was only about $1 CDN way better than a taxi for $15 CDN. Restaurants at the plaza were great we ate at Citrus a few times. Bam Market was handy for one off groceries but we bought most of our stuff at the Super Lama at Palma Real. Overall would definitely recommend this vacation rental."

"Punta Cana March 2016
The rental property at Estrella Del Mar is great! The condo is new and very clean. The swimming pool is very clean as well as the grounds. The bedrooms are very modern. I would have liked a bigger kitchen as there were sometimes three or four of us trying to get something and it was a little tight. It is close to the beach, restaurants and markets. It would have been nice to have the property management on site, but they were very helpful when you called or e-mailed them. You have to have your own phone or computer/ipad to communicate. You have to pay to make a call so I would suggest bringing a laptop or iPad to communicate. The security does not speak any English, nor do much of the markets so do your research if you are going to buy anything from the stores. Please bring toilet paper! The only thing we did not like was that you were not allowed to flush toilet paper down the toilet. As well, you have to take out your own trash!"

It was a very nice condo to stay at with 3 couples so we each had our own bedrooms with queen or King size beds and our own bathrooms. It was a good central location and we were able to easily walk to many restaurants, stores, and beaches. There was one hair dryer and ample kitchen dishes/utensils. There were no extras like salt and pepper or laundry soap, which is fine because it wasn't expected but it would've been nice. We used much less electricity than the deposit required so received a refund at the end. The property was nice and we enjoyed the swimming pools and BBQs. We did have some misunderstanding or something when we organized our transportation from the airport from their drivers and were at the airport for quite awhile on arrival, but it was very smooth on our return trip. We had a great time in the DR and the people are great. We would definitely come back! "

I will NEVER stay at a resort again. Estrella del Mar has completely changed the way I travel. The property is beautiful, clean and very quiet. The condo was very spacious and had everything we needed. The beach is less than 10 minutes away (walking). Restaurants, supermarkets, hair and nail salon, all of it is within walking distance. "

My Vacation Rental Experience with my family was simply delightful. The property was clean and well-maintained, The employees were very kind and helping, The property was in tip-top shape, nothing damaged or destroyed. I did enjoy the pool outside and the restaurants the resort had to offer, The beaches were beautiful, The malls were attracting, and the service was excellent. I would definitely, recommend this property to a friend or relative, because there is so much the resort has to offer. "

"Beautiful Condo! Close to everything!!
Stayed here for 10 days. No complaints at all.
I would say it is a 5 minute walk to the ocean. there are many stores and restaurants in walking distance. The pool and grounds were always very clean so if you didn't feel like going to the beach it was very enjoyable to hang out by the pool. We had the penthouse and it was wonderful. The upstairs bedroom is hugh. We loved it!"

Coming into the complex we knew immediately that we'd be doing a lot of lazing on the decks, sitting by and swimming in the pool. The unit itself was very welcoming and nicely furnished - 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, a big refrigerator, gas stove and a microwave - a great home base for our week. The beach is a short walk. Restaurants, groceries, fruit/vegetable shop, and a multitude of activities all within walking distance. As a family of five adults we all found time to relax and recharge as well as partake in the local culture. Will stay there again."
