This beautiful 2/2 condo at Waterwheel Condominiums is on the Guadalupe River! Walking distance to downtown New Braunfels and Schlitterbahn and only 3 miles to Gruene. This fully furnished condo comes with all the necessities for a great vacation! The open living room has huge windows that boasts a beautiful view. The dining table seats six, and there is seating for four more at the breakfast bar. The condo sleeps six with two twin beds in the guest bedroom, a brand new queen size sofa sleeper with memory foam mattress in the living room, and a master bedroom with a queen size bed. The master bedroom includes an en suite bathroom. The second bathroom is located conveniently for the second bedroom and the living room. All bathrooms come stocked with hotel sized amenities! High quality linens are provided for all beds and baths.
Walk down to the river or visit Rockin' R River Rides is only .7 miles away to make accommodations for tubing. The complex has 2 pools, 4 hot tubs, charcoal grills and an amazing amount of open green space and with beautiful shade trees. It's a perfect place for a picnic! This condo is on the third floor and does have an elevator for easy access. This condo only provides 2 parking spots. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. No pets allowed. You will receive 2 parking passes and 6 wristbands (max amount allowed). This condo has a maximum occupancy of 6 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $1500.
**WRISTBANDS & PARKING PASSES REQUIRED*** These condos are individually owned and the owners graciously allow their "second homes" to be rented out and enjoyed! The HOA of the complex had laid out some policies to ensure everyone staying at the complex can have a wonderful time. Because of the fabulous location, we can have trouble with trespassers. The security guards on premise are there to ensure only renters are using the grounds and that guests are parking in the correct parking spaces. Please do not be offended by the wristband and parking pass policies, they are really there to ensure that you have a fabulous time!
WINTER MONTHLY RENTALS - if you are interested in renting monthly in the winter months, please contact for pricing details. This property is $1700 per month.

Cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival will result in full forfeiture of payment. On monthly reservations the cancellation policy increases to 30 days. We require 25% down at the time the reservation is made. We recommend that the guest purchase CSA Travel Protection. There are no refunds for early departures.

"Very Nice stay
All was very nice. Great location close to the pool and river accessible was perfect. The only thing was the place was warm and for August we would have wanted to be a little more comfortable. The AC never quite cooled the place down at all. But overall we’d definitely return to the location just not sure about this particular unit."

"Loved it!
I absolutely loved our condo. It was all super clean and had great space for our family. The only things that I would recommend get fixed would be the master bedroom bed was really uncomfortable. It might be time for a new mattress and the front door has a catch on it so it made it a challenge to go in and out easily. You had to really make sure, you were stopping to get the door shut completely or when you were trying to go in it took a minute because there was a little catch on the door knob. Other than that we loved it. I’m so glad they had a regular coffee pot. I did not bring cups, but they had both so that exciting , and that you some washing tablets to do a couple loads of laundry that was so helpful all around. It was a great time and we loved it. We would come back. I did not notice that you could not bring trailers and that was kind of a bummer because we brought our kayaks. We thought we could just park the trailer in one of our parking spots and park our vehicle in the other given parking spot however we were able to go park the trailer at the office, it would be nice in the future if you’re able to bring your kayaks but anyway we had a great time ! The place that we booked it through was absolutely amazing and they always got back to me and they were so helpful all around just because of the customer service I would give it a five stars!!!!"

"July Family Visit
Pros: Nice clean condo with extra wide parking space for the SUV. The grounds and pools were nice. Very close to downtown and river. Recommend week days for families.
Cons: Friday through Sunday was super busy with very loud and drunk adults at the pool and in the parking lot. You can hear everything through the walls. The music stopped at 2 am. Recommend weekends for the adults on break not families. "

"A little slice of Heaven
We loved staying here! My daughter and I were very happy! We stayed for an extended amount of time and we felt like we were at home. I highly recommend going through New Braunfels Escapes for all your rental needs. They were amazing and so easy to work with. I will always consider them as top notch at all they do for their clients! So impressed and we will be back!!! "Condo on the Guadalupe
This was our first trip to New Braunfels and it was so much better than we expected! The town was such a cool scene and we loved going to Gruene (you must eat at Gristmill)! As for the condo, it was perfect for our group of 6. However, it was not as clean as expected. There were a couple of small blood stains on the bathroom door, crumbs in the pull out couch, and some cob webs in the corner. It didn’t bother us too much, but they definitely need better cleaning staff. "

"Pleasant stay
This unit was new to us this year and other than the fact that the elevator was out of service when we moved in to the third level, it was a good experience. The unit was very clean and ready for us. We were there three months. While several units close by were totally redone during the winter, we opted to stay in this one for another year. Only complaint was the small tv, since it was colder than normal we watched more than normal...."

"Girls weekend fun
This condo was clean, centrally located and perfect for our group. The river access is a little tricky but doable. We enjoyed being able to sit and relax in the river. Be sure to bring your own beach towels and chairs for the river but everything else you need is provided. "

"Great condo with one caveat...
This was a nice comfortable condo. The location is great! It was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. There is one recommendation that I made to the management company. They have this condo listed as sleeping 6, but in reality it will sleep 4 comfortably. The sofa bed is AWFUL and is not fit to sleep on. The supports are broken and the mattress is thin and uncomfortable. Overall I would not recommend planning to have folks sleep on the sofa bed. "
