River Relaxation is a lovely 2/2 condo at Waterwheel Condominiums located on the Guadalupe River! This fully furnished condo comes with all the necessities for a great vacation! The open living room has huge windows that boasts a beautiful view. The dining table seats four, and there is seating for three more at the breakfast bar. The condo sleeps six with a Queen size bed in the guest bedroom, a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room, and a master bedroom with a King size bed. The master bedroom includes an en suite bathroom. The second bathroom is located conveniently for the second bedroom and the living room. All bathrooms come stocked with hotel sized amenities! High quality linens are provided for all beds and bathrooms.
The complex has 2 pools, 4 hot tubs, charcoal grills and an amazing amount of beautiful green grass and beautiful trees. It's a perfect place for a picnic! Walking distance to downtown New Braunfels and Schlitterbahn and only 3 miles to Gruene. Rockin' R River Rides is only .7 miles away. You can float down the Guadalupe River and get out right by this condo. Less than 3 miles to historic downtown Gruene. This condo is on the third floor and does have an elevator. This condo only provides 2 parking spots. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. Not pets allowed. You will receive 2 parking passes and 6 wristbands (max amount allowed). This condo has a maximum occupancy of 6 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. **WRISTBANDS & PARKING PASSES REQUIRED*** These condos are individually owned and the owners graciously allow their "second homes" to be rented out and enjoyed! The HOA of the complex had laid out some policies to ensure everyone staying at the complex can have a wonderful time. Because of the fabulous location, we can have trouble with trespassers. The security guards on premise are there to ensure only renters are using the grounds and that guests are parking in the correct parking spaces. Please do not be offended by the wristband and parking pass policies, they are really there to ensure that you have a fabulous time!
WINTER MONTHLY RENTALS - if you are interested in renting monthly in the winter months, please contact for pricing details. This property is $1700 per month.

Cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival will result in full forfeiture of payment. On monthly reservations the cancellation policy increases to 30 days. "Great place for a Getaway
This was our 3rd time staying in this condo. It it absolutely perfect. It's beautifully decorated and always clean. We love how close it is to town and all other convinces. Either a short drive or a walk (watch for deer!) If you're up for it. Whether we're enjoying the view from the patio or hanging by the pool, we've always had a blast. Can't wait to book our next trip! "

The office staff are very knowledgeable and so easy to work with. The property is well maintained and in a great location. The condo was clean and beds were comfortable. My only suggestion would be to replace the mattress on the sleeper sofa and deep clean the carpet or replace. Overall though it was great."

"Awesome Place To Stay
The Condo was clean, comfortable (slept comfortably in beds) and in a great location. River access with rapids to float which the kids enjoyed as much or more than the long river float. If you kayak can launch from condo property. I would recommend purchasing own float with head rest rather than rent. A short distance from Schlitterbahn and Greune Rd shopping, dining & dancing and 2/4 hour river float access. Great vacation experience! "

"Quarantine Vacation on the Guadeloupe River
We were very happy with the New Braunfels Escapes. They were very accommodating and made us feel excited about taking a trip to Texas hill country. The only thing that we could suggest is upgrading the Wifi. The WiFi is terribly slow and with 4 kids that’s no bueno. However, excellent trip. Thank you New Braunsfel Escapes we had a great time!"

This is the 3rd time to stay in River Relaxation because I love the patio view overlooking a beautiful lawn and access to the river. You can't beat the location close to floating and Schlitterbahn. The property manager is very efficient and makes sure what you see on the website is what you get, which is very comfortable. Perfect for 2 couples or a family with kids. Open space makes entertaining easy. Loved the bedding, soaps and overall cleanliness. Two coffee makers covers you with ground coffee or Kcups. Very functional. You'll love it!"

"Fantastic Getaway!
My family and I visit New Braunfels at least once a year and we are so glad we found this little gem. We have stayed in many condos over the years, but this one is by far our favorite. The condo was very comfortable, cozy and clean. The furniture and layout were perfect for relaxing or entertaining our little ones. The view from the balcony is majestic at night. My daughters eyes light up in amazement as the fireflies danced on the lawn. The location is second to none, a two minute drive to Schlitterbahn, but far enough off the path to avoid the crowds. We could not be happier with our stay, and will definitely be back."
