TOCCOA FISH TRAP is one of the best cabins in Blue Ridge, GA. It’s perfect for those who want to be on the Toccoa River to fish, float and play. Located directly on the Toccoa River tailwater, you have direct access to the river via a set of stairs right behind the cabin for a wonderful fishing adventure. For those who want to tube, kayak or canoe, you can access the river at the dam and float back down to the cabin. There are so many ways to have a fun-filled family day on the river or at the cabin.
For a more tranquil experience you can enjoy the beautiful sounds of the river on the back deck or the cozy screened-in porch. Either way this river-front cabin rental is ideal for your amazing family vacation experience! Also, Toccoa Fish Trap is located just minutes from Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino.
The cabin has a large open floor plan that gives everyone the space they need. When you enter the cabin there is an entrance foyer and a great fully renovated stocked kitchen. The dining area has seating for 6 and opens to the large screened-in porch that overlooks the river. The sunken great room features plenty of comfortable seating and accommodations to include satellite TV and new gas log fireplace with remote control.
The bright master suite features a king bed and doors leading to the screen-in porch. The other main level bedroom has a queen bed with a full bath right next to it.
The screened-in porch has plenty of comfortable seating for you to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or to relax with a good book. There is also a large back deck for enjoying the sunshine or soaking in the large hot tub.
The lower level is a great place for another couple or family members wanting a little more privacy. This suite features its own sitting area and queen bedroom with a full bath (shower only). There's also a set of French doors leading to the backyard which has a deck overlooking the river, gas grill, fire pit, brick smoker and lots of room for the kids to play. The large fence-in front yard will be the paradise for kids, adults and your loving family dog.
We could go on and on about everything this cabin has to offer, but you really need to come experience it for yourself. So, pack up the family or grab some friends and come enjoy being on the river. "Great weekend on the river!
Great cabin on the toccoa river. Plenty of room. The kids loved fishing off the dock, we caught a few fish. Fenced in yard with gate was fun for our dog. The setting is very quiet, we saw deer each morning out by the road. The house was very pleasant. The screened in back porch was great to have a cup of coffee and watch the water."

Wonderful house directly on the river. To start with, what a view! This is why you book this house, to be directly on the river. And wow, is that river cold. It definitely has a current, so watch out. Beds are super comfy, as well as rest of furniture. The hot tub is wonderful after being chilled in river. House could use a good deep clean and possibly a bug bomb. Overall, definitely a house you could rent over and over. "

"The perfect getaway!
My family and I enjoyed our stay in this cabin very much. We come to Blue Ridge several times a year, and this cabin has been one of our favorites by far. It was clean, spacious, the beds were comfy, and the location on the river was perfect for kayaking from the dam. The large fenced in yard and all the gates to keep your pets safe were an unexpected surprise. Anna the property manager was so helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!"

"Wonderful Christmas Vacation
My family and our pup had an excellent stay at this river cabin home. It was a great home to relax and provided our family memories for many years to come. An added bonus was watching the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway train from the deck. The river views were truly relaxing and simply sitting outside by the river is healing for the soul.
We had an issue with the oven and the management team quickly had it resolved. The only improvement I would suggest is regular dusting, as someone with allergies, I am very sensitive to dust.
Overall, it was a perfect stay and a great way to spend the Christmas Holiday together. "

Toccoa Fish Trap is exactly as shown in pix! We loved everything from the bonus room by the downstairs bedroom to 3 full bathrooms, a hot tub that was preheated and wood for the fire pit (we did get lighter fluid as it was damp prior to our arrival). Only downside was a lack of enough t.p., paper towels, no cooking oil or sugar... But easily purchased at Ingles Market up the road. Went hiking, shopping, had great meals... Great Girls Road Trip - highly recommend!!"

"Beautiful home but extremely filthy and lacking maintenance.
The BBQ did not have a battery to spark a burner and was extremely filthy. layers of Grease and
had leaves inside. Hot tub would not heat over 78 degrees. Fireplace did not have battery to spark pilot light and we never got it to work at all.. Dishes, pot and pans, silverware were dirty. Bedroom carpet very dirty. Coffee maker was disgusting dirty. Remote for TV did not work. Chairs outside had not been cleaned for a long time. Clothes got dirty if you sat on any of them. When was the last time property manager inspected this property? Instructions not complete to open the lock when we arrived."

Please note, the oven doesn't work, the phones don't work, the washing machine does not spin the clothes well so they are dripping wet when cycle is done, there are 2 roof leaks in the corner of the back porch where the arm chair sits, the carpenter bees are doing alot of damage in the ceiling of the front porch above the front door."

"Spacious Cabin with Direct Access to the Toccoa River
The cabin was very clean and spacious with plenty of seating and tables for games, eating, and visiting with family and friends. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and although some of the cookware was worn, it worked very well. We loved the river deck, house deck with hot tub, and fire pit which were all just a few steps from the cabin. Anna with Enchanted Mountain Retreats called shortly after our arrival and again after our departure to make sure we had what we needed and were satisfied with our stay. We did not have any issues or complaints. We liked that we did not have to go to an office to get access for checking in. The convenience of going straight to the cabin and using a lockbox code was very nice. We went whitewater rafting and zip-lining through Ocoee Rafting and Zip Lining Canopy Tours and had an amazing time! We also ate lunch and enjoyed walking around in Blue Ridge. We love the Blue Ridge area and come a couple of times a year. We would stay at this property again and would recommend it to others. "

"Wonderful memories
After the year we’ve had, we needed a getaway and love the Blueridge Mountains’ area. This river cabin was perfect. Easy to find. Minutes from great food. We received a courtesy call from the property manager to make sure we’d checked in okay and asked if we’d found any issues. There were none to report. Maybe it was the time of year but the cabin was decorated perfectly for Christmas. The weather cooperated and we had a white Christmas. A rarity in the south. It was beautiful inside and now with the snow outside. I took tons of pictures and videos. The cabin was clean and provided lots of little incidentals, like forgotten shampoo, conditioners, toothpaste, extra toilet paper rolls, etc. These little things mean a lot nowadays. We had a gift basket waiting with a bottle of wine, popcorn, candies, doggie treats (though our dog decided not to come), chocolates, candy canes, cocoa, on and on. Beds were comfortable. Linens washed and tidy. Bathrooms (3) clean. Everyone had room to spread out. The cabin was in spit-spot shape. I’ll most definitely rent again soon. Maybe the spring. We highly recommend the wings from Chester Brunnenmeyer's bar & grill and pizza from Mystic Mountain Pizza. One note: we did have a spot of trouble with the fireplace, but figured it out and it made Christmas Eve and Day even more special with the snow. "

We couldn't have a better time anywhere! We chose the cabin on the river over Amelia Island and not because of the potential storm and so glad we decided on the "Fish Trap". The cabin and grounds were clean, the fishing off the deck was relaxing and the raft trip down the river was great with our pup (he loved the river). I got to spend a little time with Richard (next door) and hope to see him next time we come. I'll bring my guitar and maybe play a little bluegrass with Richard. We will try to be back when our grandson has a break from Auburn. He's going to be my kayak instructor."

We booked the Toccoa Fish Trap house to take our 14 year old son and his best friend on vacation during spring break. We loved the location and the home was perfect for what we were looking for. The river was high and fast most of our trip so the fishing wasn't ideal but the home was great for all of our daily outings to the state parks and Helen. The management response to questions was fast and they were very helpful and friendly. We even met the owners father who was so sweet."

My husband and I spent Thanksgiving here with our youngest son and his family. It was absolutely perfect! LOVED having the river right outside the back door! Very quiet..felt like we were the only folks around there! We fixed Yhanksgiving dinner there and had just about everything we needed! Very well equipped house! Talked about maybe renting it this summer it was so awesome! Very clean! Would have liked an under the counter light in kitchen and over sink. It’s a little dark. And maybe a lamp or two next to couch so you could read. But overall it was the best house we have ever rented!"

"Great Spot Great House
Toccoa Fish Trap was a very nice house in a lovely location. It truly is right on the river, with a dock, a fire pit and a huge screened porch that overlooks the was hands down the cleanest rental I've ever seen, right down to the pots and pans.The house is comfortable and the bed we slept in was too. We only cooked one meal there and it needed a good frying pan, but it really wasn't a problem. On Saturday night we went to the Blue Ridge Brewery for a casual meal. It was a fun place to be with good beer and live music. Overall we loved the place and the location was perfect."

Our annual summer trip on the Toccoa River just gets better and better each time. We love the cabin and all the amenities and being on the river is heaven. I'm the grown up kid who gets super excited every time the train goes by! The cabin has everything you could possibly need and the yard space is incredible. Love being able to simply walk into the river. The grownups, the kids and Oscar love it here. Only negative is the annoying outdoor bugs. They don't bite, but they are annoying. This property is exactly as was described and pictured. When we arrived the door was bolt locked so we could not gain access and I called management to enter and they responded right away. We needed to reach management a second time for the hot tub and they were easy to reach and gave us the directions to be able to use it. They were very friendly and can be reached at any time. The cabin was spacious, comfortable, clean and well equipped with supplies for cooking. The setting is peaceful and quiet. We were able to fish right from the the lower deck of the home. This is a great place to have a family get away. "

were great,good fishing,quiet, loved waving at the train. We were there when hurricane Irma was coming up from Florida. House is solidly built didn't hear the wind or the rain. Didn't even lose electricity in the woods. We went to Murphy one day to gamble a little. I won and I never win. That was a hoot. Of course you can go to Blue Ridge and spend it all in the shops. We went to Helen one day for lunch. If you have never been there it is well worth the trip. We also went to Ellijay the apple capitol of the world. Quaint little shops and every where we went people were very friendly as well in Blue Ridge. If you like marinas Blue Ridge has a nice marina that serves food and drinks. Outdoor sitting to watch the boats and the view. Again couldn't ask for a nicer place to hang your hat for 9 days. "

"Beautiful River View
This cabin was the perfect set up for our family of six adults, three babies and one fur-baby. Each couple enjoyed the privacy and convenience of their own bedroom and bathroom. Plenty of living spaces to hang out in and we all loved the screen porch overlooking the river. We would definitely stay there again. While there, we visited the swinging bridge over the Toccoa, took the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, went swimming at Lake Blue Ridge, shopped in both Blue Ridge and McCaysville/Copperhill, ate some delicious meals at various local restaurants. One thing I would recommend is bringing along some extra trash bags and dishwasher soap when you come so you don't have to buy any while you are there. The property was clean, well-maintained and ready for our arrival. "

.......unfortunately, it rained the first day all day and night....
Still, everything was great... except the TV. It was blocked on 205 - Fox News.
I reset the cable box 2x and tried to make Ch 205 work but no luck.
I can only conclude that Direct TV was instructed by Mgmt to block this channel and that bothered me given the cost $$ to stay here.
Other than that the cabin was great and we left it as clean as we got it."

Very nice place, would have given a 5 star, however this was intended for us to fish. Everyday they opened the dam everyday for 5 to 7 hours a day and the water was to swift to fish. Either Early morning or around lunch until dark. The cabin is really nice and clean."

This cabin has a beautiful view of the River. It also is in a great location, accessible to everything. The cabin was so large we never even used the lower level. This place would be good for two families sharing. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of hot water for showers. Interior was clean.
The kitchen was rather small and outdated. And the yard needed some regular upkeep and new furniture. There was wasp nests and spiderwebs everywhere. My kids got stung by wasps. My husband had to exterminate multiple nests just so that we could continue to go outside. The outdoor furniture was so filthy and rusted we couldn't even sit on them. And the wooden bench swing in photos wasn't even there. Porch furniture also could use replacing.
Be careful going in the river. Kids couldn't play in it most of the time because generators were always going and current was fast. Check **** times, there is a number to call. Smaller kids would do better staying on a creek versus the river.

"Pet Friendly Riverside Paradise
The Toccoa Fish Trap is a large beautiful pet friendly home right on the river, perfect for extended families, yet cozy enough for two. We practically lived on the covered porch watching the world float by and especially enjoyed the evening firefly sparkler spectacular late into the night.
The home is on a lovely stretch of water and my husband caught and released several nice trout just downstream. As for timing, it appeared that the water goes up and down here about an hour and a half after the start and stop of generation at the dam upstream.
Normally we stay at the Blue Ridge Lodge when coming up to fly fish the Toccoa, but we’ll be staying at the Toccoa Fish Trap from now on if it is available. It is a rare gem indeed to find such a lovely spot that is so close to town and pet friendly.
Besides, there is something very special about a home with its own Little Lending Library.

There are not enough words to describe how perfect thus place is! This is our 3rd time staying at TFT and we'll be back again in Aug. My husband and I came to relax and relax we did! He fished most of the time, catching a few trout, and I enjoyed reading on the porch. We used the fireplace one night and sat by the fire outside on another. The geese greeted us daily, and we watched an otter playing in the evening. Every morning brought new scents for our dogs to discover. "Great Eacape
The location and property was perfect for our needs. My only complaint would be the mattresses and pillows. I travel all over the world for work and having a comfortable bed is extremely important for a good nights rest. Only one out of the three beds were comfortable enough to sleep in. I highly recommend getting new mattresses and pillows for the two queen size beds. They are horrific. I would visit the property again but would definitely hope the mattresses would be replaced. It was a lovely home, thank you."

We had a wonderful weekend at this cabin. It had a nice decor and was fully equipped with everything we needed. We were familiar with the area and chose this cabin for the location. While staying there we enjoyed waving at the Blue Ridge Train as it rode by, picking apples at Mercier's Orchard, visiting McCaysville, and hiking. The only problem was we did not have enough time to do all that we wanted. We would highly recommend this cabin and location."

We really enjoyed our stay and will be going back. The dogs loved the set up at this place and was great to have them with us. Between fishing and watching the train go by, who could ask for more. The back porch outside lights and no trash bags was the only thing, but it didn't take away from our trip. The rental agency was extremely helpful as we needed to come a day early to beat the hurricane Matthew weather. Arrived at 3am and they had the lights on to welcome us even. I would highly recommend this get away to escape everything. We all needed the getaway."

For 18 years,we have gone Trout fishing in the Blue Ridge area. Most of the cabin rentals were nice,but there was usually some disappointment. Usually in the river access, cooking utensils, and/or furnishings. Your Fish Trap Cabin was absolutely wonderful. It was clean, had great furniture and river access. The house is very nice and the location is perfect. We had a good time and love the area.
The house is in need of a few updates which impacted the quality of our stay. The air conditioning system failed to operate on several days. When it was working, the family room with the tv, still stays warm, while the basement is very cold. The fridge was leaking from underneath as was the downstairs bathroom sink. This was our second time staying at this house, and while we love it we will probably move to a different one next year. There are also some lighting issues in each of the rooms.
The property management company was very easy to work with and very professional. I would highly recommend staying with Enchanted Mountain Retreats. "

"Wonderful experience! Our second trip.
Hubby and I visited the Fish Trap last year, and loved it. We took our two dogs (paid extra, but well worth it), and the four of us had a great time. This year, we rented it and took Hubby's two sisters and their husbands. We were six in all--eight with the dogs. The cabin had everything we wanted; the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and all kinds of utensils and containers. All but one of my in-laws fish, so they really enjoyed getting up early to cast their lines in the river. They just left their poles on the deck, and any time they took a fancy, they went fishing.
Our dogs enjoyed playing in the water and chasing each other around the yard. I walked them on leashes every day down to Gibbs, but the rest of the time they were off leash and loving it. (They don't wander off as long as we stay outside with them, and we did.)
My sisters-in-law and I went into downtown Blue Ridge. Small and quaint shops, as you'd expect in this type of area.
The town is very pet-friendly; two of the places we shopped--a thrift shop and a store that specialized in rocks--donated a percentage to animal care. My sisters-in-law bought geodes at the rock store, and the owner took one outside to put it into his "geode breaker" (looked like a giant nutcracker). It was beautiful on the inside. We had a great time.
Back to the cabin to find the men firing up the gas grill for dinner.
We stayed three nights, and all of us really found a way to unwind and chill out. My in-laws want to come back next year for a repeat. I can't wait!"

"LOVE Taccoa Fish Trap Cabin!
We absolutely loved this cabin that we rented a couple of days before Thanksgiving. It was just as described and super clean and lovely being on the river! Nice location for traveling to nearby towns. We will be back next year for sure. I wish it was not so cold so we could of enjoyed the screened porch area more. The fireplace was a little tricky to use but if you call the Management, they will "walk" you through how to work it. My only suggestion is that a railing needs to be placed on the wall to the downstairs suite area. The stairs are quite steep and a railing would give you that extra feeling of safety."

"Anniversary Get-Away!
Cabin was quite nice and easy to find. It was well appointed with comfortable furniture and amenities. However, due to a storm a few days before our stay, the internet was knocked out and never restored during our stay. A couple of other issues were with the Dishwasher (Locked & would not open), and the lack of silverware (forks, spoons, etc..), that I believe may have been locked in the dishwasher from the previous guests stay. I wish this would have been identified by the rental management staff prior to our visit. The river is beautiful though, and quite peaceful to watch and listen to as it streams by. Be prepared for cold water if you want to swim, but it's not unbearable. "

Pictures do not do this rental justice. The entire property is very well kept, inside and out. The property manager was very friendly and accommodating.The fact that dogs are allowed was just an added bonus. It was nice to bring them along instead of finding a sitter.

"Winter Stay Looking for new Cabin on River
The Main issue when we arrived was the Fireplace not working. This Cabin has a poor heating system , it is colder in the family room and downstairs. If you turn up the heat then it gets to warm in main floor bedrooms and was hard to maintain a comfortable temp. for all 4 of us. Had the other couple gone it would have been imposible for them to sleep downstairs. One of our Friends wanted to watch a different program downstairs and had to layer up plus a heavy coat for one hours time. Guest reviews and Guest comments in the Cabin book, both state , this issue has been going on for quite a while. There were a few small plates put back on the shelf dirty and the Hall Bath was left with trash,but this was minor and We really like this Cabin and the access to the River was excellent and I was able to Wade out to the center with ease to Flyfish. I want to return in the Summer & Fall but won't unless you can assure me that the Central Heating & Cooling Systems & The Fireplace have been completely certified by a licenced HVAC person and can keep us comfortable in any Season! By the way Saturday morning we cooked up a big breakfast and I guess the smell traveled up into the atick , just inside the sunken room by the front door, we heard a scraping sound like claws trying to get through the ceiling to get to our food ? (Racoon?) You might want to check this out, since the ceiling is drywall, it will eventually get in, scared us to the point I ran into my room and held on to my gun. I hope you just won't brush this away as a hard person to please, I have been going to a Cabin in your area for the last 25 years and the last one for 5 and was looking for a new place that has the fishing to go along with it, but my Family , has to feel comfortable and safe at the same time. Thank You. "

"Wonderful time in the mountains
Toccoa Fishtrap is a wonderful place to stay! we were surprised at how big the place is, first from the expansive sunken den and then going down the stairs to the complete lower level which we loved.
We loved watching the train go by each day and sitting on the porch, even though it was cold, just to listen to the river go by. Very peaceful!
Other than a few minor inconveniences, it was a great stay and the home had everything we needed.

"Todd's 50th @ Fish Trap Was Incredible!
We have been vacationing on the Toccoa River 3-4 times a year for the last 7 years, however, this was our first trip to the Toccoa Fish Trap Cabin. It was incredible. The cabin is designed for comfort and you're able to see the river from every room. The fire pit by the river was enjoyed day and night. The kitchen is nicely equipped, which is a good thing because we cook all meals at the cabin! Wi-Fi was never a problem and the TV satellite was never a problem. Love all the yard space. We felt so secluded, yet close to the grocery store. Todd enjoyed fly fishing and happily caught a couple of small ones. Thankfully, he had his waders! OMG . . LOVED seeing the train go by during the day, and it was fabulous all lit up at night. The river is simply beautiful. Being able to have our little dog, Oscar join us on vacation was so special! We cannot wait to come back many, many times, especially in the summer, so we can enjoy swimming in the river. Thank you for offering a wonderful cabin for my family to enjoy. Only negative . . . the gas fireplace in the living room was challenging. Management came out to help, but I believe one of the parts needs to be replaced. Would be nice if cabin had a vacuum cleaner, mop and bathroom cleaner to tidy up when guests are there for a week. Yes, I'm a bit of a neat-freak :-)"

"Great Family Weekend Retreat
The entire family enjoyed this trip. The cabin was better than described on the site. My husband and I took the downstairs area. This was like having our own mini cabin away from the kids. We had everything that we needed after a trip to the grocery store. We didn't need to leave once after that. The water was actually at a decent temp for us to kayak also! We enjoyed the fire pit at night and had s'mores a couple of times. The boys fished a good bit but they never saw a fish. That was the only downfall. I really wanted my husband to be able to catch some fish. None of us wanted to leave. We also got a big thank you from the kids. We would love to go back!"

House, river, weather, exceptional. Fishing was even good as long as Toccoa dam was not open. The house was very spacious, beautifully furnished, and well stocked. We had one issue with gas logs pilot light not staying lit. We called Anna, and 19 minutes later she was there to fix problem. My only complaint is again withe the Toccoa dam. First 2 days there they opened the dam at night(week-end).The next 5 days opened during the day which made fishing impossible. We met a wonderful lady named Danielle. She invited us to her restaurant "Daniell's" in Blue Ridge. Great food."

"Toccoa Family Fun
Our family vacation at Toccoa Fish Trap had something for everyone in our family. My son-in-law and nephew enjoyed the fishing while my granddaughters and great-nephew enjoyed tubing. My husband and I loved the cool weather and taking walks, seeing water falls, and sitting on the screened-in porch. We shopped in Blue Ridge and Murphy and enjoyed the museum in Murphy. The brochures in the cabin need to be culled as some are out of date so if you see something I would advise to call ahead to make sure all the information in the brochure is correct. My niece and her family drove up from Atlanta to spend a day with us and we found we were short on serveware(forks etc). However, we adapted and they had a great time. We loved the location of the home and caught lots of fish and enjoyed a lovely fish dinner our last day!! "

"Peace & Quiet
We were looking for a place to relax without noise and traffic. This was the perfect place to get away from the cell phone, tv, tablet, laptop, etc. without being far from civilization if needed. We sat on the porch facing the river and watched numerous animals pass by with their babies. Everything we needed was in the house and Ana Luisa was just a phone call away if we needed anything (which we didn't). It was even interesting watching the water rise when released from the dam and watch what floats by. The ducks and geese would swim upstream, then float back down on the swift current. Our dogs also enjoyed laying on the porch sleeping while the world passed them by. We would definitely stay here again (and again, and again, and again)."

We only use Mountain Paws Cabin Rentals when we stay in this area as we have filtered thru some "other" rental companies. Ana was exceptional as I expected no change in service from past experiences. ""Our home" in the mountains
This is the third time we have stayed in this "cabin". We have experienced several different types of cabins on various types of roads.
We found this place after searching for it after riding the Blue Ridge Train. It coincidentally lays out similiar to our home in Florida (tv room) so when we're finally relaxing at night, it's comfortable. We love the area, just wish the DAM would not screw up the fishing behind the cabin which has been the experience the last two stays.
This meets our requirements in that it has a king bed on the main floor, few stairs with which to deal and a entry road that is not paved all the way (ideal) but is the least "treacherous" of the gravel roads we have experienced (some were doozies and absolutely required 4 wheel drive vehicles that we did not have).
We love AnaLuisa. She came to our rescue late one night after we accidentally deadbolted the door with the keypad.
We love the area and the convenience of this particular location (can be in Blue Ridge or Morganton in just a few minutes; in Tennessee or North Carolina with a short drive. Restaurants, shopping, grocery, and other fishing spots are also close by.
I just wish we were closer (or there permanently!!)
Again, the only real complaint is that the dam makes fishing behind the cabin practically impossible.
Oh, and I am NOT from "PERISH, FL". Perish the thought! I am from PARRISH, FL. PLEASE FIX THE NAME OF THE CITY BEFORE PUBLISHING."

"Great location / excellent retreat for dogs
We loved the location of the home we rented. It was right on the river so we could enjoy the tranquility of the home. Our dogs really enjoyed hanging out on the deck, which had dog gates set up. The deck directly on the river was our morning retreat. Loved the large screened in porch. Very relaxing place to recharge."

"Beautiful Cabin!!!!! Disappointing Management
We went to this cabin to celebrate my best friend's bachelorette. The pictures did not due the property justice. It was so pretty and nicely kept and had everything we could possibly need (i.e towels, soap, pots and pans). My only complaint would be the management company. They took days to reply to my emails or just didn't reply at all. The directions to the cabin were wrong which got some the guests lost.(They said to take a left at the intersection with a Valero and Marathon gas station off highway 515. There is no Marathon there, it's an Exxon. I also had questions regarding how to get into the cabin and once I finally got someone on the phone the woman very rudely told me to read my directions. ("The keypad and lockbox code for the hot tub is XXXX"). I have never rented a cabin before and this small blurb was the only direction I was given. I spent over $500 for a less than 48 hour stay and couldn't even receive a little common courtesy from the staff. I hate to rant like this because the house was so amazing but the property management company left much to be desired. "

"A wonderful spot to recharge your batteries.
Toccoa Fish Trap is a great spot to spend a few days winding down and just relaxing. It's also a great place for dogs who like to swim. The deck is furnished with a large table with chairs and an umbrella, so it's nice to stay outside, listen to the water rushing by while the dogs dry off. Lots of room to spread out, neighboring houses not too close, nice layout in the cabin.
The internet service was spotty as was noted in other reviews, but who wants to spend hours on the internet when you can be outside enjoying nature.
Suggestion to the owners - a clothes drying rack for the deck to hang wet towels. And maybe a clean up of the porch furniture!
We hope to be back. Thank you to the property management team. They were very professional and helpful regarding the internet service.

We had a wonderful time! The cabin is beautiful and very well maintained. The sound of the river was very relaxing and we even saw a beaver swimming down stream! We would definitely stay at the Fish Trap again."

"Family reunion on the river
Our only complaint was the ant problem that we discovered after leaving perishables on the kitchen counter. We had stopped by Mercier's on the way in and bought goodies that the ants enjoyed before we were able to. A note letting renters know the potential for ants would have been helpful and we would not have had to throw away over $30 worth of food! I'm guessing you were aware due to the ant spray under the sink and the traps on the floors."

it was good with a couple of issues which were unfortunate. the landscaper that came to cut the lawn and stayed for over 7 hrs was annoying, the internet kept having to be reset, and most of all which you cant do anything about there was no fish, we never even saw 1 in the water."

"Thanksgiving at Toccoa Fish Trap
This was a small family reunion for Thanksgiving: my husband's brother and his wife, from southern Alabama, and ourselves. The drive in to the cabin, especially that horrible hill descending to the river, is not pleasant; however, the cabin itself is delightful. We thoroughly enjoyed being right on the Toccoa, with its daily risings; the bird life; and the train going by. We kept thinking how wonderful this would be in the summer, with grandchildren. The mountains of Georgia have a great deal to offer in the way of hiking, touring, and shopping and we kept very busy.
We thank the owners and the staff of Enchanted Mountain Retreats for providing this most welcome retreat for us."

"Our Big Fun Vacation at Toccoa Fish Trap
Our family had the best time on the Toccoa at Fish Trap. The whole family MoMo, PawPaw, Colleen, Jeff, Caroline and Kailyn loved every minute of our stay in Mineral Bluff. Already thinking about when we can fit another trip in! Laurie was so helpful with our questions and couldn't do enough to make our stay great. The cabin was very clean, the best stocked we have stayed in, we felt comfortable from the moment we walked in the door. The access to the river was easy enough for MoMo and PawPaw. Tubing, Kayaking and just listening to the relaxing river sounds made our days enjoyable. "
