Since the early 1900's, our family has been enjoying the beauty that pristine Lake Spofford offers. Our Great Grandfather built on the other side of the lake, before accessed with roads, while other family members owned, or continue to own , cottages close to ours. Our mother & family, who grew up in Keene, played on the shores & in the clean waters of Spofford, as her children have, with ours following, creating a network of generations of friendships around the lake, who have grown up together, as one big family. Our cottage has been in our family for almost 70 years, a legacy to continue... Our cottage is located on a private road, the large wraparound porch, facing the east rising sun over the lake, with picturesque views. It's easy access to Hartford ( 1 hr 15 mins) & Boston ( 2 hrs) airports, as well as being a 10 minute drive to Keene or Brattleboro, puts it in a desirable location for all who come & go. For our family, it truly is a get-away from life's everyday hustle & bustle, alleviating stress, allowing you to simply relax with your loved ones, with memories you will share for a lifetime....our wish is for you to have the same lovely experience!

The lake is beautiful and offers glorious swimming fishing, & boating activities in our pristine, grade A lake. Bring your kayaks, floats, boats..and if you want, you can rent many of these from Doug Foster, at Spofford Boat rentals! The island is a wonderful place explore surroundings & pick wild blueberries, if you are lucky enough to arrive when they are ready for picking.

If you'd like to explore other areas, off of the lake, we are centrally located to get to many areas.. like hiking Mt Monadnock or Chesterfield Gorge, many hiking/biking trails in surrounding areas, Alpine Slide, Friendly Farm, Basketville, Alyson's Orchard for Blueberry picking, Farmer's markets, wonderful restaurants & fresh local markets both in Keene & Brattleboro...even getting into Boston for historical outings or museums is easy. There is MUCH to do...We have lots of suggestions, so please ask us :)

$2050 wk rental rate, runs Saturday to Saturday.
Check in time is 4pm & Check-out time is 11am

Our summer rentals only, normally run from mid June, into the first or second week of Sept.

$400 security deposit and 50% of weekly rate due to reserve the week, the balance due at least 2 weeks before arrival date.
