This is a family friendly complex. Quiet hours are STRICTLY enforced between 10 PM- 9 AM.
New mattresses! Enjoy our brand new 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo at Rio Guadalupe Condominiums located on a scenic stretch of the Guadalupe River with breathtaking views and direct river access! Our first floor condo offers a large private patio with comfortable furniture and a private grill. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening while enjoying the river and our beautiful canyon views. You’ll want to spend your afternoons tubing, rafting, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming or simply relaxing in a chair in the water watching tubers go by. Rio Guadalupe Resort will shuttle you wherever you would like to go. Rio Guadalupe Resort is located right next if you want to rent tubes with shuttle service. You can also take a dip in our brand new pool. There is something to do for everyone.
Our condo is not just a rental, it is our home away from home. It comes fully furnished with flat screen TVs in the master bedroom and in the living room, WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen including toaster, blender, coffee maker, and more. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed with premium sheets and bedding and a private bathroom. The second bedroom has two full beds. Guest bathroom is conveniently located near the living room and second bedroom. High quality linens are provided for all beds and bathrooms. The condo sleeps six comfortably. This condo is on the first floor with great views of the Guadalupe River.
Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. This condo comes with 2 parking passes and 6 wristbands. If you have more than 2 vehicles there is parking less than 1 mile away. No trailers, campers or RV's allowed. No portable grills or open flames. No smoking inside the condo or on the patio. No pets allowed. Family friendly condo with no tolerance for profanity or vulgar music. This condo has a maximum occupancy of 6 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed.
**WRISTBANDS & PARKING PASSES REQUIRED*** These condos are individually owned and the owners graciously allow their "second homes" to be rented out and enjoyed! The HOA of the complex had laid out some policies to ensure everyone staying at the complex can have a wonderful time. Because of the fabulous location, we can have trouble with trespassers. The security guards on premise are there to ensure only renters are using the grounds and that guests are parking in the correct parking spaces. WORD permit #L1364
WINTER MONTHLY RENTALS - if you are interested in renting monthly in the winter months, please contact for pricing details. This property is $1750 per month.

CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made more than 14 days before arrival will result in a $50 administrative fee and the return of the deposit. Cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival will result in full forfeiture of payment. On monthly reservations the cancellation policy increases to 30 days. We require 25% down at the time the reservation is made. We recommend that the guest purchase CSA Travel Protection. There are no refunds for early departures.

"Weekend stay
Although the condo had a great location. The WiFi did not work, my husband works remotely so that was a must. I texted the company and they said the would send someone out there, but never did. Luckily my sister and her family were staying in the same condo unit. Our beds, made creaking noises every toss and turn through out the night in which was not a pleasant night stay. "

"Happy Cow Condo for Solar Eclipse
We arrived at the Condo Friday evening and were very happy with the overall condition and location. The property was somewhat secluded in finding it at first but once you were there the gated community was nice. Also, being right on the Guadalupe was great! It was a convenient location to get around the Hill Country Area. The Condo was decorated well and had all the amenities we needed as well as being nice and clean. I would recommend it to a friend or relative."

"66 day stay in Happy Cow Condo
We enjoyed 66 days in the Happy Cow. Overall the furnishings were adequate but some sure getting to the point of needing to be replaced ( the chairs and sofa). The coffee table has needed work the last two years. I tried to help it but couldn’t help it much. I also put pads on kitchen chairs as they made such a noise when scooted! I replaced the sink drain stopper as it was broken. We brought our own sweeper this year as there wasn’t something to clean the carpets. The main carpet in the living room area is OK but the carpet in kitchen and hallways need to be cleaned or replaced. We are glad for these carpets. The coffee pot makes coffee but the carafe doesn’t keep it hot. We appreciated the new set of pans Amanda replaced. The new set was very useful. Obviously the owner s don’t visit this condo very often or they would see some of these needs."

"Perfect Fall Girls weekend!!
Happy Cow was a perfect place for our girls weekend! Close to wine , shopping, music, dancing and food!! The river was beautiful and the pool was perfect for swimming. Our condo was easy to access, clean and so cute! We had all the amenities we needed and will definitely be back!! "

We have stayed at the property a few times because of the location, the easy access to the river, the pool and how nice the units are. It’s perfect for families and they have strict rules that shuts the noise down at 10 pm."

"Perfect Weekend Get Away!
My family has stayed at this property 4 times and we are never disappointed! It is well stocked with everything you might need. The best feature is the beautiful river within walking distance. The porch has a comfortable set up for late night games or early morning coffee. The complex is family friendly and very well maintained! I highly recommend!!"

"Joyable trip
The place was really nice and only walking distance to the river. May only complaint is have to look at the rules of the house tape where including the the TV. I am sure type of person your property are quality people. I am sure all the does and don't are stated in c ok ntact! Therefore, it not need all over home. By all means, this not a bad reflection of the property and probably would stay again. Just wanted to share some feedback to the owners "

Absolutely loved the condo! It has everything you need. It would be nice if there was a large skillet and a cooking sheet. I'm sure they get damaged and thrown out but we needed a large skillet for breakfast and a cooking sheet. The tubes were a bonus for our stay."

"Christmas Girls Getaway
We love staying on the river. This condo is in a great location at the beginning of the river. We cannot say enough how cute this spot is. The location was spacious and cozy. We managed to see wildlife every day. The beds were comfortable & plenty of extra towels were available. They do have a coffee pot and filters. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the porch. This location is a perfect spot for a girls trip in the hill country. We cannot wait to come back in the summer! "

"WHAT A GEM!!
This place was awesome!! We loved everything about it! Nice and roomy, we went in and out throughout the door and the place kept cool, and literal steps to both the river and pool. Loved the fact it’s in a secluded part of river road. We went towards the end of September and it was soooo nice. It wasn’t crowded at all. The best part was being able to get in at the horseshoe and then float down to the house!!! We had the best time! "

"Very nice but very strict
We booked a last minute stay here without reading reviews. We evacuated from Hurricane Ida and was looking for a chill place to meet my family that are from Austin. Upon arriving, we were very impressed with the condo and the grounds. The location is awesome. Our only complaint is that the security is INSANELY strict. There's a guard patrolling at all hours and will call you down if the music is barely up, even if everyone in the area is actively enjoying it. The list of rules was a mile wrong. You can't take the trash out without being stopped and asked, "where is your bracelet?" Your bracelet must stay on at all times, even kids! My three year old was the least impressed by this rule, as you can imagine. We had friends staying in the area that weren't allowed to even visit us at our condo because of them not having a "bracelet." Also, there's absolutely nothing in the kitchen. Not a single spice. Not even salt or pepper. Coming from Louisiana, we were looking for a more "let loose" time, but we made the most of it. I would only recommend this place to people who hate fun or people over the age of 80. "

"Happy Cow
Silly name, but great condo. Everything we needed was there. The location on the Guadalupe was perfect. We were close to everything, but out of town. 15 minutes to New Braunfels. We even learned a little about fly fishing and caught some rainbows. "

"Great condo
Great condo overlooking Guadalupe. Very nice setup and would come back. Only negative were the cooking pots a d pans were pretty beat up and there was one small skillet. Also very stingy on trash bags and dishwashing tabs as we ran out during our stay. The propane tank was empty and it made no sense to spend 26 bucks for a refill just to cook burgers one night. But overall a good stay"

"Get Away with Plainview friends on the Guadalupe
We enjoyed our stay on the Happy Cow Condo and enjoyed the beautiful area and the Guadalupe River. Even though the water flow was not ideal, we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day visit. The condo was as presented, and the staff of New Braunfels Escapes was very helpful and hospitable through the process. The only issue we had was with the beds in the condo. As soon as you sat on the bed to lay down, there was noise with every movement. Every time you moved, the beds made a loud screeching noise. This was the case with all 3 beds in the 2 bedrooms. Everything else was great, and we will definitely try the condos again, and work with New Braunfels Escapes again. "

"Good , quiet family vacation
We stayed at Rio Guadalupe during the covid resurgence. We were unable to take a long tube ride on the river but just sitting in the river at the condo was great. Tied our tubes to a rock and relaxed. the river was shallow enough to walk across. We had kids ranging in age from 3 to 15 and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The boys even fished a little. The condo was clean, comfortable, fully furnished. New Braunfels Escapes had a great online check in so we were able to walk right into the condo. We will be back next year for sure."

"Nice weekend stay
Overall we had a nice stay. The condo needs attention for a few minor things. The kitchen. Is in desperate need of a restock. There was no frying pan and only two tiny cutting boards. The mattresses in the guest bedroom are absolutely horrible. The grill would not turn up past the lowest flame setting and it took about an hour for hamburgers and hotdogs to cook. We finally had to take them inside and finish on a griddle that we brought (thank goodness because there was no pan to cook them in). That being said The rental was clean and the location was great! Love the condo complex and convenience to the water. If your looking for privacy though the patios and balconies are open to the neighbors. "

"Nice property with a great spot on the river!
This property was very nice and spacious. Amenities were great and the location was secure. The river front is meticulously maintained and perfect for cooling off on those hot days. The condo was very comfy and had everything we needed. The only complaint we had were the beds. They were not very comfortable, but other than that, it was a great place for our family."

"Rio family blast!
100% coming back to this property. location was perfectly located right on the river. From the beginning we knew it was the right place. When we walked in the property it not only 2as very clean but smelled clean. My wife hates that "clean hotel smell" of bleach and this property was not like that. Although we barely stayed inside it had everything you need, from fully stocked kitchen, wash and dryer and really nice rooms and restrooms. Honestly the only negative was that when we did have neighbors above us, you can hear alot of the footsteps when the kids ran around. But its not enough to lower our rating or prevent us from coming back. We had an awesome vacation and will be coming back and hopefully staying longer! We did not want to leave!"

"Excellent place to stay!
It was so comfortable and relaxing! We had our two kids under two with us and had everything we needed. Our 21 month old loved the ducks, throwing sticks in the river and the playground near the river. The porch was great to be outside even when there was a little rain."

"Better than expected
Happy Cow Condo was exactly as described - it was the perfect place to spend a few days away from home with the kids. The location is ideal for tubing with Rio Grande rentals walking distance - we did a four hour tube and got out at the condo and walked the tubes back. We enjoyed walking down to the water each morning and at night to have our coffee/a drink to wind down the day. Highly recommend and would highly recommend and would stay there again. Oh, and the master shower is awesome!!!"

"NEW, Super clean, well stocked, secure. Great place
Everything was new and top notch. Tubes, chairs, appliances, washer/dryer, all the kitchen items - they really thought of everything. Location was great for us. Spent time on Canyon Lake, hiking at Guadalupe River State park and at Canyon Lake's Guadalupe River Trail, or just floating right in front of the condo on the Guadalupe. Grilling was great right on the patio. Easy turnkey property to fully relax with family and friends.
Property mgmt company was very responsive and purchase and checkin processes were so simple. Even at night when I couldn't figure out the Roku, they immediately responded to help me out. They were great to deal with and will use them again."
