Property Description: Kingtown Beach is located in the heart of the Finger Lakes in Trumansburg, New York, 11 miles north of Ithaca on the West Shore of Beautiful Cayuga Lake. Our secluded 3 bedroom 2 bath House has a large open floor plan, with a big deck over looking Cayuga Lake and surrounded by woods. There is also a bunkhouse next to the house with 3 sets of Bunk beds. We also have 4 - 2 Bedroom Cottages, each have a kitchenette, full bath and a loft area with only a short walk down to the 380 foot beach with docks, hoists and the best fishing on the Finger Lakes. Cayuga Lake (the most beautiful of the Finger Lakes) is part of the Barge Canal System which means you can boat from the Atlantic Ocean to Lake Ontario and all the way to Ithaca, Watkins Glen, Geneva, and more. Cayuga Lake is 42 miles long. The widest point is 3 and a 1/2 miles. The deepest spot is 435 feet, so you better wear your life jacket! Taughannock Falls is located in Ulysses, NY, part of the popular Finger Lakes Region of central New York. The falls is part of Taughannock State Park located between the Village of Trumansburg (part of the Ulysses Township), and the city of Ithaca. The falls cataract has an incredible drop of 215 feet (66 meters), and is one of the highest east of the Rocky Mountains. Taughannock State Park also features hiking, nature trails, swimming, great fishing, playground areas, a marina and boat launching site. Our annual summer concert series is also wonderful. The fall foliage then turns into winter hiking, ice-skating, sledding, cross-country skiing and a lot more. Other interesting area attractions from ten minutes to an hours drive include: Buttermilk Falls, Robert Treman State Park, Cornell University, Ithaca College, Watkins Glen, the Finger Lakes, Corning Glass Museum and over 300 local wineries. Rates are subject to change based on availability. Cancellations and Changes: Sometimes cancellations are unavoidable and we understand that, which is why we will do our best to re-rent your reserved accommodation for the same rate and time period. If a reservation should need to be cancelled, and the home can be re-rented for the same rental period, the total rental amount, less a 25% cancellation fee will be refunded. If the home is not re-rented for that same period, the entire rental fee will be forfeited. Notice of cancellation or reservation change must be made in writing, for your protection at the earlyist known date. No refunds will be made for early departures or guest's dissatisfaction with the vacation home for any reason (other than health and safety). No refund will be made for failures or conditions beyond our control. Please note that if a reservation is changed, the change will be treated as a cancellation and the same terms will apply.
