"Our family so much enjoyed our time in this cozy home overlooking the lake! What a lovely, comfortable getaway! We loved the shady lot, the back porch swing, and the hammock- - -what a peaceful view of the water! The owners were so kind, prompt, and easy to reach by phone and by email! It was also wonderful of them to allow our little dog friend to accompany us! She loved it too! This is a wonderful place to unwind and relax. The fishing was terrific- -'caught over 70 crappie in April! The kitchen is cozy as well- -a great place to prepare and gather for meals! We very much look forward to a restful return visit soon! "

" Dear Bryan and Family: Thank you for making us so comfortable at your lake house. Your extra effort to supply electric cables to the dock and making sure everything was ready for us when we arrived was greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for the welcoming brownies and sweet tea! A great view and after fishing all day on the water it was relaxing to sit on the pontoon at night. We had ma great week and will return Thanks again. Rick Cope"

"We enjoyed this lake house immensely!! My son caught his first "25" fish here. The house was very clean and cozy. The porch swing and grill were awesome! The hammock was a hit especially for my husband who got some much needed time to relax. The kids loved the bunk beds and the smores by the campfire. All in all we couldn't have asked for a better place to relax and enjoy family and the outdoors! Thanks to Bryan and Deliah for being very accomodating!"

"Good Morning Bryan,
After a 12 hour trek in the rain from Lancaster, PA to
Richfield, NC we made it to the house. The house was a welcoming site.
Sue and I wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time at
Tuckertown. The house is beautiful, comfortable and peaceful.
We had a great time venturing out down to take in the beautiful
landscape and nature. Our first day there we got to see deer and wild
turkey running through logged lot as you come in... In our ventures
out we found some local hangouts. Buddy's Tavern and The Dirty Water
Saloon. Everyone was so friendly and the food was delish. Excellent
BBQ and cold beer at Buddy's Tavern highly recommended. We also hit
the other cities like Greenboro, Pittsboro, Concord and Thomasville.
All were great cities and they all had excellent BBQ.
Every morning I would get up, get my coffee and head down to the
dock to do some fishing.

"Hey Bryan,
I had an excellent weekend. We cleaned up the house as best we could, and i think we left it in pretty good condition. We rented a jet ski from 'uwharrie adventures' (the only place i could find that would rent one) and it was awesome - we had a ton of fun. That place is great, and you could probably get a lot more than 115 a night for it. If I had the money to buy it, I'd totally make you an offer.

"Just returned from a wonderful time on Tuckertown Lake. Our annual fishing trip took us to Tuckertown where we found great success. Not only was Bryan's house a comfortable haven of relaxation but the lakes seclusion was terrific. Over 5 days we seldom saw anyone on the water outside of a few serious fisherman. We mostly fished largemouth bass but would occasionally work the panfish during the heat of the day. There was easily 70+ bass caught and 50+ panfish. The hammock was great in the evenings and Bryan left the gas grill ready to go which was a welcome means of cooking for the man trip. We all had a wonderful time and capped it off with a tasty Tuckertown fish fry. If you're looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and extremely secluded spot to spend some time on the water give this place a shot! You'll be glad you did."

"We had the perfect peaceful spot to enjoy the first days of my new grandsons life. My daughter and her husband adopted a baby and after 17 hours of driving, hospital visits, etc, we got to enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets and goo and gah over our new family member. Perfect setting perfect house just plain perfect!!!!"
