Only 1 hour from Shreveport and 30 minutes from Minden, 45 minutes from Ruston or 1.5 from Monroe make our lake house a great get away for a short or long vacation. So whether you like to swim, enjoy water sports or fish, our lake house on Lake Claiborne can be your piece of paradise. There are three bedrooms downstairs and two loft bedrooms upstairs. One queen sized bed, three full sized beds, and two futon sofas and two roll aways allows adequate sleeping. Linens and towels are provided. Two bathrooms with tub/shower on either side of lake house. There is a dining table that sits six and a island that will sit twelve. The island can also be used for a great game of ping pong. There is a screened in back porch with rocking chairs and another table for four. Also off porch is a gas grill and a deck with swing and chairs. A pier with a second story sun deck on 100 feet of lake frontage with a private swimming area (8-10 feet deep off end of pier) allows great enjoyment.  Activities: Public boat launch within 1 mile. Restaurant on lake offering glass view dining. Fishing, water skiing and other water sports. State park on east side of lake. Horseback riding offered at St. John's Ranch. Town of Homer two miles away for convenience shopping.  Rates: Weekends - $250.00 - 2 Day minimum - $200.00 per extra night Week Days - $200.00 - 2 Day min. - $175.00 per extra night 3 Day Holiday Weekends - 3 night minimum Thanksgiving or Christmas 4 night minimum Longer stays available by inquiry The above rates are for 6 people including children.
