Family owned and operated – clean, comfortable, safe, quiet.
Hidden Cove Cabin sits on a large lot with 200+ feet of private lake shoreline and grand old oaks and hickory trees.
It is the perfect place for a wholesome family vacation or lakefront romantic getaway! Come enjoy this fantastic lake in the mountains.
-Early riser: savor a fresh cup of coffee at the wicker sofa on the covered porch with lake views and free hi-speed WiFi or wander down to the private dock in the morning mist and listen as the lake awakens with the rising sun.
-Reward yourself: enjoy a sunset glass of wine at one of the two indoor fireplaces, or at the private outdoor lakeside firepit – marshmallow roasting for dessert!
-Make a day of the lake: take the kids for a picnic, or relax in the sun or shade on the large private floating dock. Or rent a boat or jetski from one of our many local vendors and explore the 132 miles of Lake Chatuge Shoreline. Don’t forget your fishing pole – there’s a reason fishing tournaments are regularly held on this lake!
-Enjoy the great outdoors: swimming and fishing from right off the dock, dozens of great hikes within minutes of the cabin… great for kids! Or catch up on that book you’ve been wanting to read …large mature oaks shade benches and swings throughout the property.
& Back to the cabin: use the BBQ to grill up the fish you caught today, and then pop some corn for movie night on the wide screen TV!
-Stay in… game room, darts, foosball, library and board games, covered picnic area, large Satellite TV, DVD player, fully equipped kitchen.
Or go out… golfing, river rafting, fly fishing, evening town square concerts, seasonal County Fair, restaurants, cinema, arcade, go-karting, horseback riding, scenic road trips and waterfalls, so much to see and do!
Stone patio with firepit at the lake's edge. Two indoor fireplaces.
Paved road access and plenty of parking. Trailer parking on site.
Always good fishing from the dock. Swim platform and sun deck with roped off swim area. Large screen porch.

" I love this place! I would move in permanently if I could. I love the ability to go out the back door, walk down to the lake and go fishing anytime of the day. I caught a beautiful trout right off the awesome dock. We have two small kids who were 5 and 2 this spring when we were there and they spent hours on the sandy beach. We could fish off the dock while they played safely on what felt like our own private beach. While fishing in the bay, I caught largemouth bass, perch, bluegill and trout. FUN!
The house is beautiful and very accommodating for a family. I enjoyed the full kitchen and we had everything we needed. It was such a tranquil and serene place to be inside and out. Although we can’t move in permanently, we definitely plan to take our next vacation there to Hidden Cove cabin.
