The cottages are located 60 miles outside of Texas' capital city of Austin. Gorgeous scenery and cottage convenience make this an ideal stay for a week or weekend. Great place for a vacation. The Big Cottage has two bedrooms (one with a king bed and one with a queen), one bath, a living room, dining room, and convenient kitchen with dishwasher and microwave make Lake Belton Cottage a comfortable retreat. Couches that make into a bed accommodate extra guests, and your comfort is assured with ceiling fans in every room plus central air conditioning and heat. Probably the best part of the cottage, however, is the lake view from the deck. Here you can relax and maybe even do some star gazing from the hot tub. This cottage has a gas barbeque grill. The new Texas Cottage, is saddled up and ready for you and a guest to stay awhile. This beautiful, rustic room sleeps two people and includes a dining area and kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, and a private deck with a barbecue grill. We have added a 1600 S.F. deck that overlooks the lake with and outdoor kitchen, for our guest or larger groups. The view is awesome! Free laundry for guest, bring your own detergent. Recreational activities abound at the Cottage. Lake Belton offers swimming, fishing, sailing, boating, and skiing. If you'd rather stay dry, you can go biking or hiking. A nearby public park offers a free boat ramp, or you could take a picnic lunch and enjoy a lazy day. All guest can use the hot tub. The town of Salado, with numerous quaint shops and antiques galore, is 15 miles away, and Temple and Belton are only nine miles away. There are some really good eating establishments such as " The Dead Fish Grill" that offers a wonderful lake view with very excellent food and beverages . A visit to Lake Belton Cottage, a great escape from hectic city life, is a memory in the making. Come enjoy the peacefulness of lakeside living.
