Contact advertiser for specific directions.   Description You are invited to share our home in beautiful, Historic Winona Lake. This home is a beautiful turn of the century lake home. Our home is located on ?the island,? which is in the heart of The Village at Winona. We are not right on the water?s edge but only a few steps away from our private pier, so bring your boat and enjoy over 562 acres of water. You are also just steps away from many shops and eateries, including two great waterside restaurants. Enjoy sushi and tapas at Cerulean on the channel or enjoy a great steak at the boathouse. Either restaurant can be accessed in moments by foot or by boat. You will love Kelainey?s creamery where you can enjoy ice cream or gourmet coffee. Winona Lake is also known for its unbelievable mountain bike trails (over 10 miles) and newly finished paved greenway path, so don?t forget your bicycles. If you do forget your bikes you can rent the newest in cycling equipment from the Trailhouse. You will find their staff exceptionally helpful. All of these are only minutes away from your rental house. The cottage has three upstairs bedrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a full bath with a good view of the water. The second upstairs bedroom has a twin daybed and a great mural of the beach. The third upstairs bedroom has a bunk with a twin on top and a full bed below. Downstairs you will find a galley kitchen complete with cookware and every appliance you could need. The oversized dining room can handle the whole family. The family room is complete with a fireplace and comfy couches for lounging in front of the TV. We have cable and DVD with surround sound. Next to the family room is our ?den room? which has another full sized futon bed. This room can be used as a 4th bedroom or a spot for the kids to watch movies while the adults enjoy the family room. However, most people?s time is spent enjoying the beautiful evenings on the wrap around screened in porch. Check the calendar for the Village at Winona to enjoy some of the summer activities including: bike races, sailboat regattas, art fair, numerous outdoor orchestras, fireworks, theater, or classic car show. If you have never been to Winona Lake this will be an experience to remember. You are getting much more than a lake house; this is a true vacation experience. Deposit of 1/2 of rental rate due to reserve week. Deposit is refundable if reservation is cancelled at least 60 days before reservation. 1/2 of the deposit is refundable if cancelled at least 30 days before. Within 30 days, no refund. A damage deposit of $700.00 is required 14 days before date of rental. This will be held and returned upon your departure and after a satisfactory walk-thru of the property. Additional deposit and fee will be required for pets depending on type and size. The home was occupied nearly every week in 2007 and we chose not to increase the rates so hurry to reserve your weeks in 2008!
