HIGH COTTON - a large 60's style 4BR, 2BA waterfront vacation home which sleeps 13 (including one on sofa bed in familyroom). The lakehouse is located on big water (2 miles across) and faces south-west for great breezes and beautiful sunsets. The lakehouse is located on 1.8 acres and the property is 50% shaded. The lakehouse is located on the north side of Lake Marion and 2 miles toward the dam from Exit #102 on I-95.. The lakehouse has central heating & A/C, washer/dryer, 15x70 front screened porch, 30x35 familyroom with large raised fireplace, pool table and library and a very large gas grill. The property has 280 feet of sandy beach with gradual slope for children, a 175 ft fishing pier and a 55 ft boatramp. The lakehouse is located in a very quiet neighborhood and offers a quiet and peaceful setting with an abundance of wildlife..
BED LINENS, PILLOWS & TOWELS are provided by vacationers.
MANDATORY CLEANING is required before departure.
PETS - Pets are allowed outside but not in the house, screened porch, laundry room or gameroom. If you bring a pet, please be prepared to house the animal outside 24/7.
SMOKING - Smoking is allowed on the decks and screened front porch but not in the house, bathrooms or gameroom.
WEEKLY RENTALS - Weekly rental Check-in time is 4pm Sunday and Check-out is 11 am the following Sunday unless special arrangements are made
WEEKEND RENTALS - Split week rentals of 3 days each are permitted. For a Sun. through Wed. rental, Check-in time is 4 pm on Sunday and Check-out time is 4 pm on Wednesday. For a three day weekend rental, Check-in time is 11 am on Thursday and Check-out time is 11 am on Sunday. If the house is not rented immediately after you, Check-out time on Sunday can be very flexable.
BED & BREAKFAST #1- High Cotton doubles as "The Lake Marion - Bed & Breakfast #1" during the fall, winter and spring months. Only one single, couple or family use the lakehouse each evening. SERVICE - Breakfast foods are provided and guests may request specific breakfast foods. All cooking utinsils, plates, silverware and glasses are setout on the countertop. With the fireplace already prepared, guests prepare breakfast for themselves and eat in in their pajamas, while sitting in front of a roaring fire and watching the morning sun rise over beautiful Lake Marion. High Cotton and the 1.8 acre grounds offer guests a very romantic and completely private getaway. Two bicycles are available for guests and one canoe with paddles and life preservers. Cost per night is $150 for single/couple and $20 each for additional children or adults. Check-in time is after 3 pm, in time to watch the beautiful sunset over the lake, and Check-out time is 11 am. LOW COTTON - (see ad # 4540) is a 3BR 2BA waterview vacation rental home located directly across the street from HIGH COTTON. There is very little traffic on the street between the two vacation homes (because the neighborhood has multiple exits) and the street is great for family biking, walking and golf carting. LOW COTTON sleeps 7 (including one on the sofa bed in the familyroom), has fireplace, cable TV with VCR & DVD, stereo system, large gas grill, washer/dryer, central heating and A/C, front porch with rockers and water view, large deck with tables and chairs and a 27 ft inground pool attached to the deck. BED & BREAKFAST #2 - LOW COTTON also serves as "The Lake Marion Bed & Breakfast #2" in the Fall, Winter and Spring. Only one single/couple or family use the lakeview house each night and service is the same as B&B #1. Rate is $125/night for single/couple.
HIGH & LOW COTTON can be rented together (to sleep 20) or separately. This is a great place for weekend a Large Family, Church or Business Retreats.

Game Room has ping pong, fooseball, children's pool table and extra refrigerator. Stored under the pong pong table is equipment for volley ball, softball, lacross, horse shoes, basket ball, soccer, croquet, badmitten, guggling pins. The 175 fishing pier has a 12x24 ft lighted pierhead. Adjacent to the pier is a 55 foot boat ramp with electricity and water, a fish cleaning station and a basketball goal. A boat tie-out is located on the left side of the pier and a second boat tie-out is located on the right side of the pier. The 280 ft sandy beach has a gradual slope and is ideal for small children. On the beach is a shower, a beach volleyball area and a beach copper-bowl firepit area with wood for fires. The family room has kitchen with serving or eating bar, large table for 13, large raised fireplace, pool table, DIRECT TV with VCR & DVD and complete stereo system with tape and CD players.
