The sunsets on Lake Weir are beautiful and the food at Gator Joe's is great. There is a small grocery store within walking distance as well as a produce market. The prices were very reasonable and the selection good. We cooked most of our meals, however! We ventured out one day and were surprised to find plenty of shopping as well as antique stores, a mall, great restaurants, a civic theatre, museum, and even Wal-Mart! The deck in the back yard isn't finished yet and the yard hasn't been sodded, but it was still beautiful - and the price made it worth it." The back screened-in porch was a perfect setting for outside dinners and breakfast each morning listening to the birds chirping. Tranquil nights were great for sleeping especially for a city gal.
