THE ULTIMATE LAKE HOUSE!!! The Oxbow Lodge has 5 bedrooms (+ a huge sleeping porch) & 4 baths. The living area upstairs has over 1200 square feet and opens to an enormous covered balcony with fans, all of which have 16 foot vaulted ceilings The house is ALL glass on the lake side, upstairs and downstairs....AMAZING views! It is an entertaining heaven for family, friends, retreats, parties, weddings, meetings. FOR PICTURES, GOOGLE: BAYOU LIFE MAGAZINE/ *DOIN' BRUIN* The Oxbow was featured in this magazine and their pix are much better. The Oxbow was destroyed by a tornado in 2011 and rebuilt in 2012 . It's truly one of a kind. All the walls are pine or white-washed brick and all of the ceilings inside & out are aged tin. The house is very unique and delightfully decorated. There are TWO dens and TWO laundries. The den downstairs opens to the 600 sq ft sleeping porch that has a climate controlled screening with AC and heating plus 3 ceiling fans. The house will sleep up to 30 people. We can sleep 16 inside the lodge itself, 8 more on the sleeping porch and then we provide 8 Cabella cots for further sleeping options. 2 bedrooms are equipped with king beds, 3 with queen beds, and one bedroom has a trundle bed along with the queen bed. The downstairs den has a sleeper sofa which can sleep 2 more. The dock is ENORMOUS...big enough for a party! There is a party room, boat lift and a new large swim dock (32x16) with built-in benches. A great place to witness the SPECTACULAR SUNSETS! There is over 2700 sq ft on the dock with about 1/2 of the space being covered and 1/2 open for sunning. A favorite spot on the dock is the swing. There is also a large swimming deck on the front of the pier for easy access to get in and out of the lake.
