Farmer markets, orchards, museums, covered bridges, dining, shopping, antiquing and more can be found in both Brattleboro, VT and Keene, NH areas, each just 15 minutes away.

"We stayed at this lovely cottage home last week. It was wonderful, the cabin was spacious , clean and well stocked with a rustic lake house feel. One of my favorite parts was sitting on the bench at the end of the dock every night and watching the shooting stars over the lake. The water was clean and beautiful for swimming and water sports and our hosts were pleasant and knowledgeable about the history of the lake. The whole week was a wonderful memory to add to our summer vacation !"

"Spent week at lake and it is beautiful. Clean clear water for swimming and boating and lovely surroundings. A-frame was clean and fully equipped for cooking and hanging with family for fun and games. Spent lovely nights by water and on private patio out front door. Host were awesome and give lots of space to renters to enjoy solitary experience. Shopping quick ride away. Will definitely go back! Good Lake Spoffard memories with my family. "
