THE WINDOWS IN THE LIVING AREA LOOK OUT OVER LAKE KATHERINE AND YOU CAN ENJOY THE BACK YARD ON ONE OF THE MANY DECKS WITH LOTS OF SEATING CONNECTED TO THE PROPERTY. VERY QUIET, VERY FAMILY FRIENDLY, VERY ACCOMODATING AND CYNDI ANDERSON IS A GREAT HOST and available at anytime. Especially when you lock yourself out by being a dead head.*&^#%& MY HUSBAND CAUGHT A HUGE FISH, HE KNOWS FISH BUT NOT THIS ONE. WE STOPPED BY BASS PRO IN TULSA TO SEE IF THEY KNEW. To their amazement, THEY SAID IT WAS A ROCK BASS AND THE RECORD IS just 3 lbs. this fish was about 8 lbs. and is prob a new record. where is it, they asked....he said "it's still swimming in Lake Katherine" hahaha lol hahaha. The kitchen was well equipped, had a wonderful, large refrigerator and all of the comforts of home. We enjoyed breakfast at the bar, a game table for puzzles with the spectacular view of the lake and another table for games or meals. The family room was a comfortable gathering area with lots of seating. Cyndy has done a beautiful job of making her home comfortable and accessible. She was wonderful to work with giving us great referrals for entertainment, boating and eating. Hot Springs is a little slice of heaven!" Cyndy was so helpful and accommodating to our family. Our kids absolutely loved the swimming, playing in the lake and jumping off the dock. The neighborhood is so quiet and extremely nice. We enjoyed the historic bath house row, ducks, Magic Springs, miniature golf and the mountain tower while in town as well. The kids LOVED eating at Nom Noms grill & chill and The Purple Cow. They have great attractions in the area without coming across as a huge tourist trap. We were able to go do tourist things at our leisure and then come back to the welcoming home and relax completely. I really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the quiet mornings before the kids woke up and taking in the peacefulness of the lake. We will always cherish our time here." Cyndy is very knowledgeable about the area and helpful should any need arise. During our five day stay we kayaked with a guide at Lake Ouchita, "took the baths" at Austin Hotel, hiked the trails behind bath house row (all Cyndy recommendations), rented a boat to tour Lake Hamilton water-side, played golf at Hot Spring Village, Hot Springs Country Club and Glenwood Country Clubs (this last a real jewel!). We began most days cooking breakfast in the well appointed kitchen while enjoying the wonderful waterview from the "great room" and ended each day floating off the pier before dinner, which was either grilled at the house or eaten at one of the many nearby restaurants.
