ONE PALM HILL is a renovated luxury bungalow villa located on a hilltop with sweeping Atlantic views. The property is beautifully landscaped surrounded by swaying palms, bougainvillea and lush vegetation. Perfectly located, less than a mile from the town of Governor's Harbour and a short walk or one minute drive from famous Twin Coves Beach.

Built by the island’s top custom builder and decorated by its premier designer, ONE PALM HILL is sophisticated yet comfortable. Featuring 3 private large bedrooms each with their own elegant ensuite. The great room has comfortable lounge seating for 8 and features an entertainment centre with flat-screen TV. The dining area can seat up to as many as eight at the table. Four more diners can be accommodated with bar seating at the kitchen counter. The fully equipped kitchen features a cook top range and full size oven, large island with seating for four, stainless steel appliances, and modern concrete counter tops. Walk out to the pool and outdoor dining is off the kitchen. There is a laundry room and large pantry with a full sized washer and dryer just off the kitchen also. You won't ever be without power as the villa is equipped with a large generator which can be handy in the islands!
The 3 bedrooms at ONE PALM HILL each have full en-suite baths. Each bedroom has a flat screen tv. The master bedroom is furnished with a four-poster king bed. The second guest suite is also furnished with a king bed and pool views. The third guest bedroom has twin beds that can convert to a king, as well as a day bed that can open up to queen size bed for 2 additional guests. All bathrooms are elegantly finished in tile and tumbled marble. In addition to three bathrooms, there is an outdoor shower for washing off sand after days at the beach!
Outside the villa there is a wrap-around porch shaded by pergolas, a beautiful pool with shallow seating along one side, lovely spot for enjoying a drink or sunning. There are comfortable chaise lounges and umbrellas. A bbq for grilling up fresh meals! Great views of the Atlantic can be seen from the porch.
ONE PALM HILL is loaded with amenities including a private pool, outdoor shower, AC throughout, high speed internet, four TVs (three smart TV’s), landline phone, X Box, large movie library, portable speaker, books, beach chairs and umbrellas, pool floats and beach toys, snorkel gear, high chair, pack n play, gas grill, and a back up generator.
Governors Harbour the main town on the island is just two minutes away by car. Governor's Harbour has wonderful restaurants, a charming collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking its historic harbour. Buy fresh fish and lobster from fisherman at the town dock, or visit the recently restored Haynes Library, which dates from 1897, for the weekly coffee hour for foreign residents and tourists. Governor's Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, wine & liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, and a medical clinic. Friday night Fish Fry in Governor's Harbour a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street, is not to be missed.
Eleuthera is most famous for its 100 miles of spectacular, deserted beaches. The island, home to just 8000 residents, is completely safe any time of the day or night. The snorkelling diving, and fishing on the island are world class. Boating, surfing, and other water sports are also popular. You can rent or charter power boats, sailboats, sea kayaks and bikes. You can have a charter captain take you out for excursions of various types. There is excellent sightseeing as well. Eleuthera has vast caves, cliffs, a bottomless ocean hole, many unique beaches, historic churches and 19th century homes, and small villages to explore. If you cancel 90 days or less before your arrival, 100% of your total rental fee will be retained by Homeowner. No-shows, late arrivals, or early departure for any reason, including but not limited to inclement weather or illness, are non-refundable. "Awesome house, great location
We rented One Palm Hill from mid December '22, through the end of March, '23. The 3 bed/3 bath layout easily accommodated our several guests.
The home is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. It is very well furnished and equipped. The kitchen has everything that you would need to prepare a complete meal and the beds and linens provide for a peaceful night's rest.
The living room has slip covered and comfortable pieces which provide for indoor relaxation.
Cross breezes when the house is opened are a perfect alternative to the air conditioning units which functioned flawlessly throughout the home.
Importantly, the generator at One Palm Hill never missed a beat supplying power to the whole house during the numerous and often extended power outages we experienced.
The house also has beach supplies which include comfortable beach chairs, plenty of beach towels, coolers and cool packs.
Outside the pool area is private and spacious, allowing for both sunny and shady spots to relax with a beverage. Other outside seating areas provide options to accommodate varying wind and sun conditions. A clean propane gas grill made barbecuing fresh fish and lobster a regular dinner alternative to dining out.
Twin Coves Beach is any easy 8 minute walk and Hut Point Beach is about a 10 minute walk. French Leave and other great Banks Road beaches are all a quiet 10 to 15 minute drive up the road with easy parking access. Restaurants, shops, and gas stations are also 5 minutes drive from the house down the road in Governors Harbor.
As great as the home is, the owner and management team were even better. Communication was timely and accurate. The owner, Kelly, clearly cares about the experience of her guests, and the manager of the property, Misty, and her team provided regular oversight to keep the home in top condition.

One Palm Hill is a beautiful home located in central Eleuthera. The home is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need while on vacation!! It is beautifully decorated and the beds are very comfortable. The pool was perfect to cool off in after a day of exploring. This was our first trip to Eleuthera and we fell in love!! Kristin at Eleuthera vacation rentals was awesome! The homeowner also reached out to us prior to our arrival and was available if we needed anything. Also, Misty, the caretaker of the home was also wonderful!!
We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. If you’re thinking about booking One Pam Hill, don’t think any further... it is wonderful!! "

"Words cannot describe!
We are a group of 5 long-time friend who go on vacation annually. We absolutely loved One Palm Hill!!!! This is by far the very best VRBO we've ever stayed in. So clean, so comfortable, completely stocked with anything we could have needed or wanted. The pool is beautiful and a perfect spot for lounging. Short drive to Governor's Harbour which is a great town. Near beautiful beaches, both Atlantic and Caribbean. We are already trying to figure out how we can get back to One Palm Hill!!! "One Palm Hill is fabulous!
We had such a great time at One Palm Hill! The house is gorgeous, centrally located and spotless! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need from nice cookware to a full selection of glasses, serving platters, utensils, even spices. They have plenty of beach and pool towels, chairs, snorkeling equipment, coolers...anything you need for the beach. Carol, the house manager, was outstanding. She communicated well before, during and upon our departure. She helped us with our concierge, Sonja, who did a preliminary grocery run for us, a boat captain and helped us with reservations at Tippy's.
We swam in the pool everyday. It was such a nice bonus to have. I also didn't realize you could see the Atlantic from the house, so it was nice to look out and see it everyday. The road to the closest beach, Twin Coves, is a bit rocky, but once you got there, it was incredible-so private!
Also, Tara with Eleuthera Vacations, was very helpful with covid requirements before and after we left!
We highly recommend One Palm Hill and hope to come back one day soon! Thank you to Carol, Kristen and Tara for everything!"

"SUPER RELAXING!
Our family got a chance to visit Eleuthera for the first time, and we had a wonderful, relaxing stay at One Palm Hill villa! Pam Fontes made our reservation super easy and was very informative when we asked about car rentals and things to see and do! We met Carol at the villa upon arrival and she was the best at helping make our stay at One Palm Hill super relaxing! She pointed out grocery options, beaches, great restaurants and super places to have a drink and listen to some island music! The villa was everything you could wish for; the pool was clean and inviting, all bedrooms were nicely decorated and completely furnished, above what we expected! The owner, Krista, had so many games there that we had a great time with all our family every night! It was a great find, very nicely furnished, complete with even the spices needed for your favorite dish! The entire villa was laid out so everyone could move freely without getting in the way, and the many beaches within a short 5-10 minute drive would leave you breathless! We didn't want to leave. We will visit again for sure! We loved it there, and the people were so welcoming. If I had to mention any issue, it might be the long drive from North Eleuthera airport (1 hour). Might consider flying into Governors Harbor AP. Only 5 minutes away!"

"FANTASTIC !!!
The house is just beautiful. So clean, so quiet. We walked to the beach daily. It's a lovely walk. Great scenic exercise for those who like to explore by foot. The home was very well provisioned, had a great kitchen with supplies/utensils, easy to clean up and there is a grill for use as well. The pool area and the grounds were an oasis. The beds were another oasis of restful, comfortable sleep. All of the furniture was comfortable and very clean including the outdoor lounges and chairs. We hated to leave and hope to return SOON. We highly recommend this home, over and over, and over to all we know. The owner, Krista, and the rental agent that we used were very easy and friendly to deal with, too. GO. You will not regret it. "

"Beautiful Home in Eleuthera
The home was beautiful and had all the amenities one needed. The bedrooms all have their own bathroom which is so convenient. Decor is lovely and comfortable.the location was awesome. Definitely need a car but so close to Governors Harbor to pick up any groceries or supplies. Or to go to many of the wonderful restaurants. Beautiful private beach is only down the hill or drive 5 minutes to the amazing French Leave beach. Many other beaches to visit and explore. The home is so private and loved having the pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Carol the caretaker was so helpful and took care of anything we needed. "

The only frustration, was the refrigerator freezer did not work while we were there. We lost some food and had to have people come to the house several times."

"Lovely hilltop villa
We loved One Palm Hill. It is private, beautifully appointed, comfortable, light and airy, and well-maintained. Excellent TV reception and WiFi. Pool was small but perfect for splashing around in;pool area was one of the nicest we have had in a rental property--chaises, sectional, umbrellas. Outdoor dining table under pergola.
Road to house is pretty rough, and you need to take it slow and easy, but the reward is the One Palm Hill. Town is tiny with a couple of small markets and a few restaurants. We liked Da Perk and the Buccaneer Club.

"Peaceful Paradise
If you live in the country as I do and you want a to feel like you are home in the islands this is the place for you and your family. It is one of the few places I have been where you can go to a beautiful beach two miles long and not see anyone else. I especially enjoyed picking my own (Sugar Baby) bananas right in the front yard, also being able to go one mile away and get Lobster, Red Snapper, Maui Maui, and Grouper was a real treat.the house was beautiful and very accomodating for the three of us. Having your own pool speaks for itself. "

One Palm Hill is positively beautiful. It is brilliantly maintained and Carol was always a phone call away and quickly and kindly remedied any concerns that we had. The location is ideal. Get yourself a loaf of cinnamon raisin bread from Governor's Harbour Bakery, toast some up every morning and you'll be set for the day!"

"A great place for families
We stayed here over spring break in March of '18 and we had a a fantastic experience. I give it FIVE STARS!
Why do you want to stay at One Palm Hill? Here are a few reasons.
1 - The home is an ideal set-up for families as I brought my 3 kids (ages 14, 11, and 8). My wife and I obviously had the master, my daughter had a room to herself and the two boys shared a room. Plenty of space. The pool is really great for an evening swim and there is a great stock of movies and a Wii for the evenings.
2 - The home is well stocked with supplies. Many of the homes we have rented through the years are sorely lacking in this area. Not so here - plenty of cookware, cooking utensils, etc. There were a couple of "beach books" that aided our daily task of adventuring to the unknown.
3 - The home is perfectly located on the island. Being located a mere 2 minutes from "downtown" Govenors Harbour, you were perfectly situated to reach all of the "must go" beaches, popular restaurants, and site-seeing. If we were in Rainbow, Rock Sound, etc. - we would be less centrally located and the drive each day would be that much longer.
4 - The homes comes with Carol! Carol is your caretaker for the week, if an issue should arise. We had a couple of items here and there that we needed help with and Carol was so friendly and responsive helping us. We felt like she was part of the family.
I usually take 2 - 4 trips a year stateside and almost always rent a home. One Palm Hill was my first international rental and it was a great experience working with the owners and the house itself is up there as one of our favorites."
