| Description |
Beachcomber is a large three bedroom, three bath home with many extras. The master suite faces the ocean and has private patio access, a king bed, decorative fireplace, and private bath with double sink, large shower with benches and two shower heads. The second bedroom, also on the ocean side, has two double beds and a TV/VCR. The third bedroom has a queen bed and is situated next to the second bathroom that has a large walk-in shower. The spacious great room features a fabulous view of the Sea of Cortez, has a wet bar with sink and full size refrigerator, a decorative fireplace, lots of seating, Satellite TV, CD and Wireless internet. An unusual feature of this house is its separate dining room with ample room for all eight guests. Next to the dining room is the kitchen which is fully equipped with all major appliances including a dishwasher, garbage disposal, food preparation island with sink and disposal, coffee maker, blender, microwave, toaster and another eating area. Adjacent to the kitchen is a game room with a TV/VCR. Outside amenities include a very large covered porch with lots of furniture and a charcoal barbeque (bring own charcoal). Above this area is an upper level sun deck, which is accessible from the outside of the house, and it also has furniture. Other comforts include central heat/AC, an outside shower, and fans in all the rooms. Owner requests No Smoking Inside and Pets allowed upon approval, pet fee is $75 USD per pet. Sheets and one set of bath towels are provided. 2-night Minimum during the week; 3-night minimum during weekends in March, April, May, June, October and all Holidays. (Specific Holidays we request 4 minimum nights stay). For 7 nights the owner requests, if it is a weekend, check in must be on Friday or Sunday not Saturday.

Plenty of room fro 4 male quests. Location was fine . House was clean with plenty of kitchen utensils, pots and pans, etc. Dry bar area was a real bonus.Oceano staff were great. The big negatives were a burned out water pump that was not fixed when notified, it was only “Gerry rigged “. We had no television for the first 2 days and when maintenance came out to activate it all we got was all Mexicanstations except one free m England. Our final thoughts it s the of the proof the property needs the put some effort to get things for fed and perhaps "

Please read the reviews before booking this house. Absolutely the most broken down house we have ever rented in Mexico. This house needs some serious upkeep, there were water pressure issues in the master bathroom shower and the kitchen sink. The master door wouldn't open to the patio/beach, there are zero cleaning supplies including a broom, mop, washer and dryer ect. The dishwasher couldn't be used (no detergent) the furniture was disgusting both of the couches need thrown away you couldn't even sit on them without putting a blanket down first. Our checking time was delayed by about an hour and a half do to it not being cleaned on time. Out of the three bathrooms the one closest to the kitchen couldn't be used because the showing know was broken, and the guest bathroom had mold growing in it. The pots and pans were old and just abused- the entire kitchen needs a reset with fresh pots, pans and appliances they were all falling apart including the refrigerator, the door would not close properly and one of the shelves just broke off and ruined some of our food/drinks. The decor was miss matched, dusty and cluttered. I think guest would take better care of your home if you provided supplies to keep it clean especially when someone is staying for a week- they need the basic cleaning necessities specifically a broom. The view and beach access were great. "

"Sandy Dandy Beachcomber
The home was nice, clean and spacious. There was plenty of room for a family of eight. It would have been alot nicer if the property had a washer and dryer to wash our clothing. We also looked for simple cleaning supplies such as a broom or small vacuum to sweep the sand off the floors. We had to buy soap and towels to wash dishes on a daily basis as we like to keep house clean during our stay. Overall the house is big and beautiful with more than enough room for eight people. Having a garage was also nice, we were able to secure our vehicles during our stay. Overall this property was superb. Maybe next time the property will have basic cleaning essentials to maintain a clean and tidy environment. "

"The Perfect Beach Fix
We've never rented from Oceano and will do so again! The staff was fantastic with great communications. The property is ideally located and we found it to be clean. Our ONLY issue was the outside furniture. We read that the upstairs Margarita Deck had ample seating and found 1 rickety lounge chair. On the main veranda, the chairs were all plastic??? Also, water in the master shower had no pressure."

"Annual weekend get away

Staying at the Beachcomber was the worst of our many stays in Rocky Point. The place was not clean the beds weren’t made , the TV’s didn’t work, we didn’t get tv until 4 days later. The write up on this place is miss leading . The place is run down, the owners hasn’t kept it up . The pictures does not reveal the true status of this place . We Won’t be back . So many rocks on the beach . "

"Girls Trip

This is a nice house on the beach. It had all the things we needed and it was well kept. The beach is full of shells and wildlife. Our teenaged children enjoyed the stay as much as the adults. It's close to town and there are many services. "

The house is very spacious and well laid-out; great for families or shared families. Only the kitchen sink had okay water pressure. Everywhere else, including showers was virtually useless. The house is located on a very rocky section of the beach. And sweltering hot in mid August."

"Good value right on the beach
Overall we were pleased with the Beachcomber for the cost. It was larger than we thought it would be and overall in pretty good condition. I liked that it was right by the guard shack so it is one of the closest homes in Las Conchas to town. The furniture seems to have been updated recently in the family room, other guests had mentioned that needed to be done. Also, no issues with the water pressure in the showers or hot water issues or dishwater issues. We did have a handful of ants one time but we were prepared with spray and didn’t have any more issues. There were only 2 areas that I would caution future renters about. One – the kitchen did not have ‘the basics’ that I normally find when renting in Las Conchas. Not cutting board, cleaning supplies, Tupperware, etc. I did call the office and they brought a broom by – the rest of the supplies I had to buy on my own which, in my opinion, should be included. The other is the location / beach which obviously the owner has no control over. When the tide anything but high tide, there are a ton of rocks / coral on the beach that are very sharp and makes getting in and out of the water very difficult. We ended up driving further into las conchas (section 12/13) as the beaches there are much safer. All that said, you are still getting a great deal at the given rate. "

Overall the house ok. There were a couple issues; 1 being the ants, they were all over the kitchen counters and master bathroom counters. 2 being the mice poop that was found under the pillows in 2 of the bedrooms. The house had plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable."

"Long weekend
The house was right on the beach with beautiful views from the upper deck. Still close to town but quiet and relaxing. Rooms were good sized.
Our only complaint was the hot water only lasted for maybe 1 shower A day."

"Fall break
We love Las Conchas and have always used Oceano rentals. Beachcomber was perfect for our large group and loved walking right out onto the beach. The 2 decks were the best part. One up top with awesome views and the completely covered botttom one to get some shade. This house Is right in front of the rocks so not much swimming, boogie boarding unless you got past them and went further out but kids found tons of sea life!"

"Great House - needs some TLC
This was the first stay at this house. It is a very large house. The patio is very spacious. There are a few issues that require some attention. The biggest is that we were unable to get hot water from any faucet. The water pressure in the kitchen made it very difficult to wash dishes. Showering was resorted to very quick cold ones. The other issue was easier to resolve, there were large amounts of ants and coach roaches. I had read reviews prior to our visit so we were prepared for the ants. Honestly I would not stay at this house again, unless there is some resolution to the hot water issue."

"Multiple Issues!
This house is in a great location. It was clean when we arrived and the a.c. was working great. With that said that's about the highlight of this house. First issue was the master bed is supported on small buckets and it leans. First issue is the master shower has no water pressure. You can't even use it. The next issue is ANTS they were everywhere. We couldn't even cook or eat in the house without ants trying to rob the food. The couches in the living room are completely worn, it's obvious hundreds of wet people have sat on them. The outside of the house had trash all around it. Most of the lounge chairs were cracked and couldn't be used. The security light outside of one of the rooms flashed off and on all night. We had to cover the window. Last but not least, the water shut off one afternoon and we were without water for about 12 hours. "

Home desperately needs updating. It is a large home as shown in pictures. Sewage odor terrible. Real bad in the master as the bathroom is attached. Furniture desperately needs to be replaced except for the tables and chairs for dining. Needs painting about ten years ago! Outside chairs broken. Great location. Guards at gate very helpful. "

5 women relaxing at the beach. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Only steps from the beach. At the end of the beach where all the tide pools are so very rocky at low tide.
Lots of room for kids with pool out couch also

I have stayed here before, I enjoy the location but house is really run down. Dishwasher leaked, showers with no pressure. Sun patio was under construction and water leaked down to bottom patio. Screen doors fell off every time you opened or closed them. All plastic chairs are broken so that if you lean back you are not sure when they will completely go. For price will look at other houses in the future."

The Beachcomber was much larger than expected, with multiple spaces to gather in or spread out. Kitchen was well-appointed with large numbers of dishes, pans, cutlery, etc. Three large sinks, extra counter space with the big island. Separate dining room great for large dinners as well as a game table. Bathrooms and bedrooms as pictured in the ads - very roomy master bedroom/bathroom. The patio was spectacular - huge and covered with a margarita deck above; great views of sunrises and sunsets - saw dolphins and many types of birds. Very close to the water, just a few steps to the sand. Received a mid-week change of bed linens and fresh towels. "

"Rocky Point Gem
We love the Beachcomber, we try to stay here at least once a year. The house was clean. We love the new refrigerator, it is very spacious. We love that you got rid of the small one in the bar area and added the beer drop in. Cable is way too confusing, couldn't get the TV's working to be able to watch cable. The house could use a new paint job. Would love if you had some ant spray left under each sink as they were in the bathrooms and kitchen. We loved the new decor since our last visit, much more modern. "

"Beachcomber blast!
We very much enjoyed our experience at Beachcomber. It is probably the best home we've stayed in at Rocky Point. Right away, we decided this would be our permanent rental home. We had only 2 disappointments: the showers are the worst we've experienced as far as pressure goes; and the beach was the rockiest we've experienced to the point that it's dangerous to go in the water if it's not high tide. Overall, very satisfied."

I stayed here over spring break with friends and this place is huge. It says it sleeps 8 but there's utensils/plates/cups for probably 15 people. There were plenty of pillows/blankets, room for parking and it was easy to find. We had some issues with water but Oceano came and fixed it as soon as I called. The only bummer about the place is the beach is really rocky, just a mile down Las Conchas the beach is really sandy and much nicer."

"new year
we love coming there but this house was not in good condition, the master shower did not work at all and it dripped all the time. there were things missing that were showed in the pictures and list of amenities. it seemed very dirty as well. stains on the sheets and towels in bathroom and kitchen. we didn't have enough toilet paper we had to go buy some and there were no paper towels at all there were no kitchen cloths to wash the dishes. 2 of the 4 burners on the stove did not work all the time. the furniture in the living room was very dirty and stained. the bar area was not stocked with any kind of glasses and the fridge was missing in there. not enough utensils for cooking in the kitchen. we had a house in june of 2015 and it was a lot nicer and cleaner. "

"Feels like home
The Beachcomber is our go-to for every trip to Puerto Penasco. It's like our second home. The covered back patio overlooking the beach is huge and if you want to sun just head to the rooftop patio. There is plenty of room for 8-10 people. We especially loved the game room and the separate wet bar."

when we arrived, both refrigerators were not working, one bathroom sink was clogged and some lights were not working. we called and the problems were quickly solved. we encountered other problems, some minor. 2 of the 3 showers were not working properly. only 2 extra trash bags were provided for the kitchen trash can and access to a broom would have been nice since there was sand everywhere. other than that, we all had a great time with friends and family. :)"

"Nice patio, Weird House
The patio was nice but the house has a lot of problems. The hot water took 15 minutes to get warm, if ever. The master shower second head just dribbled water. The charcoal BBQ grill was just a rusted out old gas grill. The fireplaces were non-functional. The kitchen is completely separate from the main living area. Garage access does not come with house rental. The beach at this part of Las Conchas has rocky sand as compared to further into Las Conchas. There is essentially no view from any bedroom. Only the master bedroom has an en suite. Unpainted patches on the wall are present. The furniture has ugly water stains on it. "

The porch is the selling feature of this property. Unfortunately the showers in the master suite did not work and the toilet in bath next to guest bedroom had to be plunged every time to get anything down. There were beer cans strewn all over the "lawn" beside the porch. So more care is needed to get this property up to snuff."

"Great quick trip
We only had time to come down for a day trip to Las Conchas, and Oceano was extremely accommodating. Beachcomber is a huge rental that easily handled our two small families (4 adults and 2 small children). The view was amazing, especially at sunset. The deck above the patio was awesome for viewing the stars."
