Welcome to Holiday House, our family’s newly built beachfront home, located on the idyllic pink sand beaches of Eleuthera. Surrounded by the Atlantic, you will enjoy expansive beach and ocean views and the sounds of the sea from the moment that you step foot inside Holiday House’s courtyard.
Holiday House sits on a gently sloping hill above Barefoot Beach, which is completely private, with the exception of a handful of the neighboring cottages. Because there is no public access to Barefoot Beach, you will often have the entire cove to yourself. A beautiful coral reef that is perfect for snorkeling sits right off shore, and at low tide, you can walk down the beach for miles.
Upon stepping through the doors of Holiday House, you will be welcomed into the barrel ceilinged foyer, equipped with a built-in bar with a refrigerator, icemaker, and bar accessories. The foyer leads into the great room with an expansive, 17-foot vaulted cathedral ceiling. From this room, there are sweeping, uninterrupted views of the ocean. In the great room you will find a dining table that seats eight and comfortable seating area with a large Smart TV outfitted with DIRECTV and Apple TV. The home is equipped with Sonos sound system, WiFi, split system ACs throughout, a back-up generator, back-up water supply, a filtered water system throughout, safes in all bedroom closets, books, games, and puzzles, and much more.
Stepping out of the great room, you will find yourself on a large covered porch that is furnished with a sectional sofa for gathering and lounging and an additional dining table for meals al fresco. The covered porch flows seamlessly into the pool deck with ample seating and a large heated pool that was designed to enjoy the picturesque views of the Atlantic. (There is a pool heat fee of $400 per week for guests wishing to have the pool heated.)
Please note that the pool does not have child safety gates or fencing. Please consider that if you are traveling with small children.
Inside the gourmet kitchen, you will find an expansive nine-foot quartz island with counter stools for gathering, stainless steel appliances, four- burner gas range, full size refrigerator, dishwasher and ample kitchen appliances.
Holiday House has four bedrooms with queen size beds, ceiling fans and en suite bathrooms. Each of these bedrooms is set in a separate corner of the house for maximum privacy. The two Atlantic-side bedrooms have amazing views of the ocean and direct access to the pool deck through sliding doors and Smart TV’s, while the two garden view bedrooms offer a relaxing escape and gorgeous views of the gardens.
The Master Bedroom has en suite bath with two vanities, a soaking tub and a walk-in shower. The other three en suite bathrooms have walk in showers. Every bathroom has a hair dryer.
To keep you comfortable during your stay, the laundry room is equipped with a washer and dryer, and there are two outdoor showers— one located by the pool and one adjacent to the Master Bedroom. Additionally, there are two grills on the property, both are on the patio near the entrance of the home. One is a Kamodo Joe and the other is a gas grill. We have two sea kayaks as well, beach chairs and beach towels.

Cancellation of or changes to your reservation must be made in writing (e-mail or fax is acceptable). If you cancel more than 90 days before your scheduled arrival, 20% of the total rental amount will retained by Homeowner and the balance refunded to you. If you cancel 90 days or less before your arrival, 100% of your total rental fee will be retained by Homeowner. No-shows, late arrivals, or early departure for any reason, including but not limited to inclement weather or illness, are non-refundable. Homeowner recommends trip insurance to protect Renter against loss from such events.

Beautiful house with wonderful views. We loved the "pre-beach" area. The landscaping is amazing. The rooms were all great for two families with each bedroom having its own bathroom.
Generator! While there we did experience some power issues - nothing major but the generator kicked in immediately and we didn't skip a beat.

"Paradise
This home and location made our family vacation a dream come true! The home was perfect for the needs of 6 adults and 3 children - comfortable, clean and beautiful! Tennielle took care of our needs promptly! The property was well-maintained and had a shady area under the palms with trees and a hammock; with the private beach just steps away. The ocean offered great snorkeling and kayaking. Everyone involved with our stay was friendly, with lots of helpful ideas . "

"HOLIDAY HOUSE IS VACATION PERFECTION
We had a wonderful two-week stay at this amazing vacation home! Holiday House is a beautiful and incredibly comfortable home located on a gorgeous beach. The views from the house are simply amazing! The house is tastefully decorated with beautiful furniture and incredible art/photography. The layout of the home is designed perfectly to maximize guest comfort and the beautiful view. We loved the large and comfortable living, dining area. We spent lots of time playing games around the large coffee table and doing puzzles on the dining table. We also appreciated that the kitchen was connected and open to the living space so we were all together during meal prep. We cooked at home for many of our meals and the chef’s kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare and serve meals with ease. The four bedrooms with en suite baths were perfect for our family PLUS the beds were some of the most comfortable we have ever slept in! The outdoor space was wonderful with plenty of lounge chairs and seating around the pool plus a large, comfortable sectional and dining table on the covered porch. We always returned to lounge in the pool area each afternoon after our adventures on the island and enjoyed watching the sky change colors at sunset. Matt Simon at Eleuthera Vacation Rentals was incredibly helpful and responsive and provided so much extra helpful information to us about car rentals, tours etc. The house manager, Tennielle, was excellent and took great care of our group throughout our entire stay. She was easily accessible and responded quickly to any and all of our questions. The owners of the property were also wonderful: responsive, kind and welcoming. Thank you for hosting us in your beautiful home! We highly recommend Holiday House-it was vacation perfection!"

"Beautiful Home
We loved our stay at Holiday House. The private beach was nice to have right out your backyard. Snorkeling the reef was fun but not much sea life left. The pool is great and perfect for relaxing. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need. The wifi is not reliable but that is expected on the island. The location is nice and private but was a bit farther from the things we wanted to do, so we spent a lot of time driving the island. Overall a great stay and we would stay at Holiday House again."

"Absolute Paradise
The Holiday House is without question a place of paradise between the beautiful home and its secluded ocean beach the location really provides for peace and tranquility. Endless walks on the beach for miles without anyone in sight was a different peaceful experience. The layout and decor of the home is exquisitely done with an incredible view of the ocean.
We dined at 1648 French Leave, Tippy’s and several times at 3 J’s around the corner from the house. All three places have awesome food with many island dishes. We grocery shopped at Rock Sound and “Burrows” in Governors Harbour. A must is the “Island Farm” on the main highway close by that has fresh vegetables and an assortment of baked goods.
We rented a SUV from Roderick Pinder providing us excellent transportation around the island including Rock Sound and Harbour Island. “Tennielle” was excellent to deal with and very accommodating for some of our needs during our stay at the house.
Matt Simon, Eleuthera Vacation Rentals was very knowledgeable about all the rentals on the island and instrumental in us choosing the Holiday House.
We vacation regularly and have stayed at many wonderful 5 star resorts in the past, this by far was our best vacation.
Anyone considering a stay at the Holiday House will not regret it! “"

"Thanksgiving vacation
4 couples travelled to Eleuthera for Thanksgiving and stayed in the Holiday House. Everything was first class, including cleanliness, furniture, pool and grounds. Can’t say enough about the accommodation. Dishes and flat ware were also first class. Beach access was easy and beautiful. Would definitely recommend and we will be back. "

"A week in paradise
We (3 couples) can not say enough good things about this outstanding property. Immediately upon arrival until the sad moment we had to leave we wanted for nothing....nothing, it was absolutely perfect. The house has everything and Tennielle checked in on us several times and responded immediately if we had any questions. I would love though to note the things that could be improved not as a complaint but ONLY so they can be addressed; but in no way dampened our trip. 1. Getting connected to their music system was basically impossible, the instructions in "the book" were not true instructions and basically you have to have your own Sonos account and even then you can't control the music outside only on the tv. The music outside seems to be whatever the home owner had last left it on. We luckily had brought some of our own speakers but this would have been great to have figured out! 2. We came from 3 states but 5 o the 6 of us are from TX. The Houston Astros were in the world series playoffs but the DirecTv account at this home didn't allow access to sports channels. :( That would have been amazing if we could have watched sports as we were there during the world series playoffs. 3. The water pressure isn't great in the showers but you get used to it. AGAIN, not complaining just letting you know room for improvement in the perfect home on the most perfect beach/ocean. We LOVED our time at Holiday House. It is immaculate beautiful comfortable clean and felt like home."

"Amazing Unforgettable Stay in Eleuthera...ahhhhh!
My family plus another family that had not visited Eleuthera before from Colorado stayed in Holiday House & enjoyed every second of it! From the view, the accommodations, the property, the sound of the Atlantic waves in & out with the tide & the memories...I am very ready to get right back! The home has a great layout with 4 ensuites to give each their own space & privacy. Tennielle, our host, exhibited excellent communication & checked up on our every need during our stay. Eleuthera gets in your soul. My husband & I were actually married there (Cocodimama in 2010) & wanted to take our kids back to see where it all started. I will definitely frequent this home as I look for my own property there...or perhaps not-just rent here every time. The simple, clean architecture, the amazing outdoor showers, the generator onsite as peace of mind & the VIEW!!! This home literally has the best part of the beach behind it with reef to snorkel as soon as you step in the water and no craggy rock for easy, safe beach entry for kiddos. One thing I wanted to thank the homeowner for, were the beach bags provided in each closet, hangers, the great toiletries and kitchen accessories. All that you could possibly need is in place. It's an adventure to get there and you so appreciate the stunning location when you arrive. Close enough to Tippy's & other local hot spots & beaches, but complete privacy for your family. Lastly-I wanted to thank you for the amazing coffee table books. We stay so busy at home, I hardly ever get to just sit & read with my daughter. We absolutely loved the Bahama Mama book. It brings you back to what truly matters in life and how we are all the same no matter where we are in the world or what beliefs we have. It's hard to find to purchase tho! I've been searching! My family will see you very soon! We are already looking at flights! 10 out of 10 for sure! Thank you so much for another amazing time in Eleuthera, Spanish Wells & Harbor Island! "
