The Surfside complex is directly across the street from the beach and Gulf of Mexico. After a long day of fun in the sun you will love coming back to the beautiful courtyard with grills, picnic tables, covered sitting areas and a sparkling pool. The pool is heated as well so it can be enjoyed any time of year! The Surfside complex is made up of 2-bedroom condos surrounding the courtyard, making it the ideal choice for large groups looking to stay close to one another.

CLEAN BED PROMISE
-Padre Escapes promises to launder every comforter, every sheet, every TIME!
-After every stay we replace all towels & linens (including the comforter, which most people don’t do) with clean towels & linens from our 5500sf laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
CLEANING AND INSPECTION
-We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These complimentary amenities are provided in the property as a convenience until you can go shopping: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family’s arrival.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older. The guest must have a State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID.
-PET-FRIENDLY PROPERTY: MAXIMUM OF ONE PET. There is a $100 per pet fee for all stays 7 days or less, $200 for stays of 8-29 days and $300 for stays of 30 days or greater. In addition, there is also a pet-cleaning fee of $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days and $100 for stays of 30+ days.

CANCELLATION POLICY: We require 25% down at the time the reservation is made. Reservations cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee and tax. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to check-in will result in full forfeiture of payments made. Applicable refunds will only be issued to the guest by the same form in which it was made, even if a credit card has since expired or canceled. The above applies to moving dates or switching units as well. We recommend that the guest purchase CSA Travel Protection. There are no refunds for early departures or late arrivals. If a guest does not show up for their stay the total amount paid is non-refundable.

"Nice ground flour unit, well maintained
We have stayed in many of the Surfside condos over the years (since the 70's). This one is in great condition, and on the ground flour (no stairs). The furniture is nice, but I personally prefer lighter beachier-style furniture vs the heavy dark pieces. The decor itself was ocean / beach themed, so that helped. Staying at Surfside itself is great, with the closed courtyard. The pool was sparkling clean, even after heavy use. We only had one glitch; we arrived late and Padre Escapes hadn't sent our room code, so at 1 am we had to make a couple of calls to get into the property. Everything went smoothly after that. Be aware, they do not stock the unit with items you will need. They only give one laundry packet, and two pods for the dishwasher. No personal items, like in a hotel (shampoos, etc.), and only two rolls of TP. There was one roll of paper towels, and a few trash bags. Be prepared to bring everything you need, or shop at the local grocery store on the island. I bought two handsoaps and left them, as well as the extra TP, which I put in the bathroom cabinet. The condo did not have extra sheets or pillow cases for the couch, or extra pillows even. It had one bagged extra bedcover. No trash cans in the bedrooms, no chairs in the bedrooms. I may be pickier, because I've come to Surfside for so many years, and have been a vacation condo owner myself.
All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to stay in this condo again, it's lovely, clean, and convenient. Bring quarters for the washer / dryer, because they do not give them at the local stores, and don't allow you to get 'cash back'. I needed them on a weekend, and had to go to the ATM at a bank, then go to the Salty K Laundromat and use their change machine to get quarters. The Salty K is very nice, but I didn't want to haul my laundry back there, especially since our unit 115 was right next to the laundry room. Thanks for a great vacation once again, Surfside! "

"Happy Camper
Very nice and clean. Beds super comfortable. Plenty of towels and extra blankets. I personally thought the condo had a bit too much furniture and literally every cabinet in the kitchen was full of of dishes, pans, and appliances so I had to remove lots to find room to stock our items. Other than that, the condo is A+. Very well kept and a perfect location. I will be returning that's for sure! "
