CLEAN BED PROMISE -Padre Escapes promises to launder every comforter, every sheet, every TIME! -After every stay we replace all towels & linens (including the comforter, which most people don’t do) with clean towels & linens from our 5500sf laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
CLEANING AND INSPECTION -We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards. -Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property along with one hand towel per bathroom. -These complimentary amenities are provided in the property as a convenience until you can go shopping: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge. -We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family’s arrival.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -A two-night minimum stay is required. -Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older. The guest must have a State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. -NOT PET FRIENDLY.

Pets Not Allowed CANCELLATION POLICY: We require 25% down at the time the reservation is made. Reservations cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee and tax. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to check-in will result in full forfeiture of payments made. Applicable refunds will only be issued to the guest by the same form in which it was made, even if a credit card has since expired or canceled. The above applies to moving dates or switching units as well. We recommend that the guest purchase CSA Travel Protection. There are no refunds for early departures or late arrivals. If a guest does not show up for their stay the total amount paid is non-refundable.

Arrived to a property with no A/ C . They found another property the NEXT day after 5:30. We were stuck in the first place for 24 hours and than we had to repack and move AGAIN. The second unit was in a great location, but absolutely filthy.the sheets on the beds were just covered with another fitted sheet. No flat sheets on bed. Cockroaches and no water pressure in showered. Dishwasher was on the counter and the size of a pressure cooker; useless. Had to argue over several days with various people to get a refund for the first day. Padre Island Escape is the worst. Especially Amber."

"Home needs some upkeep
Arrived to a house with a few problems- stinky trash in garage, porch/porch furniture/railing nasty with bird feces and master bath drain not cleaned out- poor drainage; Notified property management and had it taken care of that day; You can't use the porch much because of the roosting grackles right above the porch and the constant bird droppings- continuously getting the feces on all the furniture; The carpet is undesirable with all the stains and ware; Master bath has a 2.5gpm showerhead, but you are only getting minimal output- My wife had a hard time taking a shower and had to use the other shower to get her hair clean; The blinds don't assist with keeping the unit cool during the afternoons- kept the thermostat on 74, but as the afternoon came temps would rise to 78; the dishwasher takes up all the countertop space- it wasn't even used because of how small it is; Alot of the cookware needs replacing- either rusted pans and teflon flaking off a majority of pots; Pool is neglected (yes I understand that is an HOA issue, but you pay dues) The mesquite at the driveway needs to be trimmed away- it was scratching our vehicle"

"Family Vacation
Upon Arrival all the trash cans were full and there were pills and previous tenants toothbrushes that our children found. There was power that was not working. I feel that the property management company worked quickly to fix these issues but I also believe these items should have been addressed during cleaning before we checked in. "
