Cancellation Policy: If your cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to your reservation date, all payments will be refunded less the cancellation fee of $100.00 and the insurance premiums (if purchased). Any reservation cancelled within 30 days will have to be re-rented for the same rate and period before we can refund your payments less the cancellation fee and insurance fees (if purchased). If partially re-rented, your refund will be prorated. NOTE FOR MONTHLY WINTER RENTALS: The initial $100 per month booking deposit is non-refundable. Once the 30% remainder of the down payment has been made, the rent becomes non-refundable unless month(s) can be re-rented at the same rental rate.

"Needs updating
From the moment we arrived we were somewhat disappointed. The unit was very dated, not well maintained and not very clean. Then further disappointment when we found roaches, the issue was handled immediately but disappointing none the less. The location was great, but the south tower was no where as nice in the lobby as the 2 other towers. We did look at similar units there for rent when we were there that were updated and maintained much better."

"Baywatch Resort review
Our unit was very dated and some of the furniture definitely needed replacing. It was hard keeping up with the keys (2 for 6 people). I think a keyless entry for the property would make it much nicer for guest."

"Bad faith
Room was dirty, turned my socks black quickly. Balcony had cigarette ashes on when we arrived. We were charged for smoking when we left. We were there for a last trip with the 4 siblings, one is dying of cancer. When I called to dispute, they wouldn't listen to anything I said their mind was made up. I have stayed at many places in Myrtle Beach over the last 40 years, only time that I have ever been accused of smoking as I don't. I would not recommend staying here as they are dishonest, sad."

"North Myrtle weekend
The condo worked for what we needed. It was a little dated and not the nicest place we’ve stayed with the company we booked thru. The pools and lazy river were nice and the food from the restaurant/bar was really good. Loved that we could order takeout and not have to leave the premises to pick up supper."

"Outdoors A+, Ondoors C -
Outdoors: One of the best views ever, and gorgeous pools and lazy river.
Indoors: not a good experience. Advertised with fully equipped kitchen.
Here’s what we dealt with first 3 days: Refrigerator door rail actually was broken in half and dangling.
Freezer door rail smashed.
Kitchen had two pans. One was 8 inch and the other 14 inch was filthy and burnt, un-usable. We had to buy a frying pan.
Two of the steak knives were rusty. We had to buy knives so we could cut some veggies. Hardly had any silverware and the slim pickens were grungy looking.
Microwave oven handle separated and was obviously poorly glued to reattach it from previous user.
Main big burner did not work.
Garbage disposal: Something metal rattling and none of us could fit hand down to retrieve.
Dishwasher outdated: wheels very rough and bumpy when pulling out. Did not fill up with water. Had to fill pot with water and pour into bottom of dishwasher to run.
After realtor called plumber, and we thought it was fixed, the next day it spewed water all over, so we had to call again; otherwise it would have had many gallons of water all over the place. Owner should be grateful we were not at beach at that time.
Master bedroom toilet ran continuously and was loud during sleep.
Light dimmer is not a dimmer. It’s either on or off unless you work with it with a fine touch.
Realtor responded but for 3 days there was a lot wrong with kitchen.
Some of the above items never fixed.
Advertised as sleeps 10 which is true based on sleep spaces, 2 of which are sleeper sofa. However, we were very cramped with only 7 of us. We had to move the two TV watching chairs to fit around table which could hardly fit us 7. And we are all medium to small size.

"Couch is unusable, location great
The location is excellent. The unit is in decent (except for the couch) shape for the age. BUT the cleanliness is terrible:
food on the wall (a sucker)
food under couch
pocket knife in drawer
gross dirt in bathroom
sand everywhere - not the kind that it's just hard to get it all, I mean piles in the closet and corner of living room where they sat their beach stuff
The couch: The part the mattress sets on is ripped completely off on half of the couch making the bed unusable and causing the cushions to fall straight down because nothing is holding them

"BAYWATCH 837 South Tower needs a major update!
We were too excited to get into our room and experience our 1 week of vacation we get a year. We haul what luggage we could to our room on the 8th floor and couldn't get in. We lug it all back to the lobby and find out the motel can't do a thing since we rented from North Myrtle Beach Reality. We called and they sent maintenance over within 30 minutes and gave us new keys. We finally got into our room and within minutes had to start ripping all bedding off and start the washer up. The beds were so sandy and the white bedsheets stained. I called to report this and once again within 30 minutes received new bedding. Too late though because I already had that wash going. The stools were rusted from bottom to top, the cabinets throughout the place were old and peeling and cracked. Stove was rusting at the bottom and fridge had rust running up through it when you opened the door. Shower curtain was disgusting. NO doubt the place had not been swept before our arrival. My son found a vacuum and that helped to freshen things up a bit. Just the whole feel of the place was gross!!! To pay $3,000 a week for this place was very disappointing.
We did love the view from our room. The hotel itself was very nice. Pools were great and clean. We have learned our lesson to not rent from a reality group who does not keep their places updated obviously. We like it simple but clean and this was far from that. We were told they were short on housekeeping. IF this is the case then don't charge us for that fee when we are having to come in and clean before we can start our vacation. I wonder when the last time they were actually in this room? We also didn't have a tv in the master room when we arrived. We had to have maintenance come and take one from another room and hook it all up. Just so many little things that we have never encountered in our 30 years of vacationing . I would not recommend this particular unit to ANYONE!"

"Early Spring Beach Trip
Nice Location, close to Barefoot Landing and a short drive to other locations. Could see the full moon from the bed in the master suite. Elevators were fast. Wasn't crowded YET."
