CLEAN BED PROMISE -Padre Escapes promises to launder every comforter, every sheet, every TIME! -After every stay we replace all towels & linens (including the comforter, which most people don’t do) with clean towels & linens from our 5500sf laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
CLEANING AND INSPECTION -We use disinfecting products that meet or exceed CDC performance standards. -Every property is stocked with bath towels & washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property along with one hand towel per bathroom. -These complimentary amenities are provided in the property as a convenience until you can go shopping: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, a sponge, and one make-up wipe per bathroom. -We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your family’s arrival.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -A seven-night minimum stay is required. -Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older. The guest must have a State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. -NOT PET FRIENDLY.

Pets Not Allowed CANCELLATION POLICY: We require 25% down at the time the reservation is made. Reservations cancelled 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund minus a $50 cancellation fee and tax. Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to check-in will result in full forfeiture of payments made. Applicable refunds will only be issued to the guest by the same form in which it was made, even if a credit card has since expired or canceled. The above applies to moving dates or switching units as well. We recommend that the guest purchase CSA Travel Protection. There are no refunds for early departures or late arrivals. If a guest does not show up for their stay the total amount paid is non-refundable.

"3 Stories High
This was a very nice house but we were mislead to believe the kitchen/living room/master bedroom were on the first floor. Upon arrival we discovered they were all 3 on the 3rd floor and we had a handicapped traveler that couldn't make it up the stairs without too much pain. Padre Escapes moved to us to another property the next day and it all turned out well."

"Labor Day Weekend
This was one of the best VRBO that we have stayed at to date. The home was well cleaned and well kept. Plenty of room so that no one is crowded or running over each other. Communication with the property management company was excellent. I would recommend this home as a place to stay. We spent a lot of time at the beach so the outside water hose was wonderful. It helped keeping sand out of the house and the garage. Our son loved the pool so much as well as the container of pool toys provided by the home owner. This overall was just a great place to stay with a group of people. Weather it be a family or friends."

"Vaca for the Brown's and Helm's
We all thoroughly enjoyed the property and our stay. We did find out that the electricity to the dock was out and did not allow for lights at night on the dock for fishing which was one of the reasons we chose this property over others. Also, anytime we had a question about something the management company was so quick to respond and courteous. Aside from the light issue, all was good. "

"Lots of bumps!
The house was clean, however we had to call maintenance several times. Our first night there we had to plunge the kitchen sink because the garbage disposal was plugged and would not turn on. It was also before we cooked that evening! Then next night at 12:30am, the ice machine dumped all the ice all over the kitchen. The motor in the door would not turn off. When calling maintenance the next morning, the gentleman said they were aware of the garbage disposal and was rusted so bad it was all locked up. Also just told me that a piece of ice just got stuck in the door allowing all the ice to drop. Throughout the next couple of days the ice machine continues to drop all the ice on the floor. Called them back and they told us they couldn’t get to it until Friday...we were leaving Saturday morning. The next day, it stormed in the morning and upon entering the upstairs bedroom, the window was leaking...a lot! The carpet was soaked and thankfully we could caught it before phone charger and clothes got too wet. Again, maintenance was called and nobody was able to show up. It was a 4 bedroom and 4 bath home. However, only 1 person could shower at a time and wait a little bit in between before the next or you would be taking a cold shower! With 10 people staying there it took us a couple hours to run everybody through the shower! Also, HOA requires everybody to purchase their own propane for the community grills! The tank at our house was empty. Would have had to pay to fill the tank and leave it for the next guest! Towards the end of our trip, we came back to the house and the gate was closed...no code. They never gave us a code to the gate. Although when I had to call them again, they insured us they sent us the code to the gate when they sent the code to the door. After all this we did ask that since our stay had lots of bumps in the road to make it right, they couldn’t do anything but give us credit for our next stay. We live in Kansas! Not coming back for qu"

"Beach Vacation

"Padre Escapes deserves a reward! Best in Hospitality
After our daughter passed away unexpectedly, We had to many unfortunate events happen during our stay as the neighbor was a complete psycho, my better half had a surgery which required bed rest and 6 weeks of recovery, and we had a family member move in unexpectedly. Padre Escapes reps Emily and Jeremy were most hospitable. Our schedule had become nearly unmanageable and we were late checking out by 3 days!! Padre Escapes and the owners were amazing! I can’t express my gratitude enough and the home was absolutely amazing definitely a place to visit! I recommend booking through Padre Escapes if you are traveling in the Coastal Bend. Thanks!"
