CANCELLATIONS.AND CHANGES Reservations may be cancelled or shortened by the guest notifying the Manager in writing from the booking holder at minimum of ninety (90) calendar days prior to your Check-In date ("Cancellation Period"). In such instances, any paid charges will be refunded, less a $649.00 administrative cancellation/change/rebooking fee and less any travel insurance fees paid. In the event of an accommodation change as detailed in clause 5 above, all of the terms in this cancellation and change clause still apply. In the event of cancellations or shortened stays made after the Cancellation Period, you will be responsible for the full amount of the total booking charges unless you have purchased a Travel Protection policy. If you have purchased a Travel Protection Policy, the travel protection policy premium is non-refundable and any refunds for cancellations or shortened stays made after the Cancellation Period has expired must be obtained from the travel protection policy provider directly and you are subject to their policies, conditions and restrictions. If you choose to decline Travel Protection, no refunds will be provided for cancellations or shortened stays made after the Cancellation Period. You will be responsible for the full amount I balance of the total booking charges and they will be automatically charged to your card on file on the date of your cancellation. Apr 28, 2022 - , Salt Lake City, UT "April 9 - 16, 2022 I have rented in The Villages for several years, mostly through private owners/hosts. IMO, the rental was below average standards for The Villages. The floors were not cleaned properly - there were piles of hair/dust in the corners behind doors and the sheets on the back bedroom - including quilt did not appear to have been laundered. There should have been a better map of the area, showing pools, etc. There was one but you could barely read it. Other very small touches could have made the experience much better, i.e., instructions for working the TV, the option upon renting to have your ids ready at the recreation center (other owners do this for a fee). In addition, I have never been asked to strip beds and start laundry before leaving a home rental. There also should have been a trash can in the garage and extra garbage bags for the guests - the only garbage bag was the one in the kitchen trash upon arrival. Lastly, the rental company called me on Saturday morning, likely because they received a call from Villages security that the garage door was open around 2:00am Saturday morning - we had a flight out of Orlando at 6am and were packing our cars to head for the airport.
