Located on a cliff side overlooking the ocean, this home features three bedrooms and two full baths, perfect for your family of six getaway. Upon arrival, guests are greeted to an astounding deck covering all of the west side of the home and offering 180 degree views of the Pacific Ocean. Inside, travelers can find a large living room space accompanied by a fully functional kitchen. If you're seeking the relative seclusion that South Beach offers, you'll never need to leave home for meals. Located just off the kitchen, the dining room has seating for all six of your guests and boasts breathtaking views of the coastal waves. On the east side of the home, all three bedrooms can be found, with the master suite in the northeast corner of Sunset Breeze. The master suite offers a king bed, a flat screen TV and a bathroom attached to the master. Down the hall, two bedrooms can also be found, both offering double beds. If you're seeking an adventure while visiting this home, you should head down the staircase of Sunset Breeze's private beach access onto the sands of the people's coastline. Wet sand, driftwood, agates and more await all visitors. Please note that this pathway is not recommended for young children or people with limited mobility. The bottom of the steps has boulders one must cross to access the beach. For those traveling with furry companions, a decent walk can be made half a mile north of the home to the Lost Creek State Park. This park offers picnicking, restrooms, easy beach access, and a beautiful creek emptying out into the Pacific Ocean. In addition to this adventure, guests visiting the area can also find entertainment in Newport. The Oregon Coast Aquarium, Newport's underwater gardens, Ripley's Believe It or Not!, art galleries and a movie theater can all be found along Hwy 101 on a short 12 minute drive to the north. "Oregon Coast
Great Getaway, this was a shirt trip to the coast for my daughters birthday.
We were very comfortable and had a great view of the ocean. It was a stormy weekend but beautiful. The tide comes way in and felt it right there at you door."

"Just what I was looking for!!
The house was a bit dated but overall perfect. It is right on the beach, just a walk down wooden stairs. The stairs are a bit of a challenge, but really fine.
We could not get the WiFi to connect to our devices. We could get service on the beach. The beds were comfy, the kitchen is stocked well, bathrooms nice. I’ll definitely stay in this home again.

"Vacation
Got off to rough start with no cell service. I couldn’t access email with door code. I tried calling you twice and was disconnected before you could help me. We had to get back in truck and drive five miles to pull up email with door code. Our first night had a squirrel in master bedroom. That was fun getting the squirrel out. The rest trip was fine except for no cell phone use. My advice is to advertise that this place has no cell phone coverage. This made it challenging to communicate with my company every day. We won’t be staying there again."

"Not clean
I will start by saying we have used Oregon Beach Vacations in the past with positive experiences. Not so this time. Arrived to a very dirty attempt at cleaning. After driving back to find cell service in Newport, no apology ever given and told we would have to wait 3.5 hours to check in. With dog and disabled senior citizen in the car, not easy. House was STILL not ready at 730pm. No refund for the day missed and still no apology . We were promised a refund on cleaning deposit but 8 days later have not received any refund or contact (even though they say you will hear within 5 days on "dispute" form)"

"Good but .....
The house met our needs but it wasn’t until I received the check-in instructions with directions that I feared the house was right on the highway! I wouldn’t have selected this rental if I had known this but at this point, it was too late to cancel. The road noise interfered with all of our sleep.
Although very clean, the rusty heat covers and some kitchen cupboards need to be replaced. I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it."

"Amazing View, But...
Honestly, the most amazing view ever, but the amazing ends there. The self-professed “well appointed kitchen” lacked simple things like foil and coffee filters. When we called to ask about the filters they said they do not provide them. WHAT? We were there for 5 days, but ran out of dishwasher pods and TP on day 3. When we called about this, their response was that they only provide a “starter kit” of these supplies. There is only 1 window on the ocean-side of the home that opens. It did not have a screen. We found the screen in the garage with a hole in it. The chairs in the dining room are wicker, and rip off a layer of skin if you’re wearing shorts. None of the 4 remotes matched the TV information in the welcome binder. All 3 bedrooms are maybe 35 feet from the traffic of 101, so it was too noisy to hear the ocean or to leave the windows open at night. The linens in one of the bedrooms were disgustingly stained (we have pictures.) Ultimately, we had to make 3 trips to Newport for supplies that every other rental we’ve rented have provided. Our phones both Verizon and AT&T had No Service. Finally, although our 4-year-old made it down the stairs on the private beach access, there is no way our dog could safely make it down, so we had to drive to beach access. "

"Nice place
Starting, on our arrival, we open the house and the first look was not attractive at all, the house didn't get clean out after the last customers. on the last day about 3 hrs before we leave there was a guy in a blue and gray Subaru in the driveway that is shared with the house next door, it was very unpleasant and is unfortunate to get this feeling for such a nice place other than that we had a really good time"

"Previous reviews were not accurate!
I had some reservations about this property after reading recent reviews. I was pleasantly surprised! The property was as advertised. Beach access tricky but not horrible. Very nicely located for many day trips. I hope to stay here again! Only negative is it would have been nice to have a box of tissue available "

"Sunset & Moonset on the Beach
Comfortable accommodations with a continually changing ocean beach view. Clean with good appliances, adequate linen, kitchenware, furniture.
Some road noise in the (rear) bedrooms.
With some pruning of overhead tree limbs, one could easily park a pickup camper or small motor home without scraping the top. Re-entering the hwy with traffic is tricky, especially if heading south. "

"Won't stay here again
I understand that a beach house gets serious wear due to salty sea air - but this place is in serious disrepair and needs attention. I am guessing the owners haven't been here in years - and certainly haven't stayed here (I dare them to stay for 3 nights!!). The furniture is super old and falling apart - literally. A few of the dining chairs are unusable. The TV is dangling on its stand. The kitchen was gross (the coffee maker hadn't been cleaned in a very long time and had mold growing from the left-over coffee grinds), not to mention rusted-out can openers, etc. We have rented many houses and I have never stayed in anything even close to this bad. And it is filthy. On a good note, the view is fabulous - the challenge is the shrubs are so overgrown that if you sit in the window-front chairs, the view is hidden. "

"Beautiful view
Beautiful view. The kitchen was very cluttered and not stocked with basics like salt and pepper. The kitchen cabinets are in need of repair. The TV operation was difficult to figure out and the instructions in the home book did not have any instructions for the wave remote. The home was comfortable. The yard is not fenced and the street outside is very busy and noisy. We had to be very careful with our dogs and keep them on their leashes at all times outside. There is no railing on the deck so we also needed to be very careful out there. The steps to the beach were very steep and the rocks at the bottom slick. "

"Relaxing Oceanfront Escape
Just what we needed on the last 3 days of our Oregon road trip! Beautiful setting with terrific views and all the necessary amenities right there. The broad, flat beach stretched for miles in either direction and was virtually empty the whole time, except for us! We spent every night around the campfire in the sand. Great spot for kids and dogs. Would certainly stay there again!"

"Spectacular
Everything was terrific, great view. Indoor & outdoor lighting was very good. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need and lots of bowls, plates and glasses if your having a large group. If you plan to use the washer be sure to bring your own detergent. The washer was not level and even with nothing in it, the spin cycle was out of balance so hopefully that will be repaired soon. All in all we would stay here again."

"Nice view but a few problems
Upon arrival there was no TV reception in either room, no telephone service and we had wifi but could not connect to the internet. We tried to figure out what was wrong and by the time we realized we couldn't fix it, it was too late to call the office. We couldn't send an email because we had no internet. And couldn't call anyway because our cell phones did not work in this area. The next day we noticed a cable wire was down and drapped over the side fence. Went into town where we could get cell service called the office and were informed they would send someone out to look, but they also had other service projects to do before ours and could not give us a time or estimate. Nothing was done on that day nor did we hear back from anyone. The next day was our third day there without any services and we left for most of the day. When we returned about 5 pm that day, the cable wire was hooked back up. We were able to get the cable on in the bedroom, but not the living room, and we still could not connect to the internet. We left the next day. The land line still did not work and we never were able to connect to the internet. We were disappointed by property management. We felt they should have noticed the cable wire was down, there was no TV reception or internet connection and that the phone on the counter did not work before we arrived at 4 pm. And we felt they weren't very responsive to our phone call. This house is advertised with all of these services. Very disappointing. The stairs is also an issue, seem very dangerous and there are many reviews that also mention them. We did not use them. The home was clean and comfortable, but there is an ant problem and there were ant traps on the counter. Also, the bedrooms are all on Hwy 101 and you can hear the traffic all the time with the windows closed."

"Girls week
House was clean, had beautiful views and easy to find. Skimpy on supplies though, one garbage bag, one roll of TP per bathroom, and only one extra blanket. But we enjoyed our visit and the surrounding area. The beach was amazing!"

"Amazing place
We had such a wonderful time here.. the views were spectacular and it's so awesome that u can access the beach right there from the private stairs. I am 8.5 months preggo and made it down just fine.. the bottom of the stairs end on a rock but it's not not bad! I think they were fixing them when we were leaving! We had 3 couples and we all slept great! I have no complaints. Kitchen is a little tight for doing big family dinners, but it all worked out. "

"Just you and the ocean
Sunset Breeze was all we could hope for. The photos on the website are accurate. The home is all on one level -- just two long steps up to the door. There are a few other houses nearby, but when you look out toward the ocean, ocean is all you see. Our stay was peaceful and replenishing."

"overall very nice
The house was clean, well supplied, and had a great view from the deck. But beach access was very poor, Long flight of old wooded stairs to get down to the beach that did not even go all the way down. They ended at very large boulders that you had to climb down boulder to boulder to get to the beach. Most older people would not have been able to do it. Much less a nightmare for taking all your stuff down for a day on the beach. But the house itself was great. "

"Excellent Property -- Highly Recommended
Sunset Breeze was a great property with everything exactly as advertised and a good value for the price. The home was clean, everything in good repair and the kitchen was stocked nicely, including spices that you would most likely need. It was great to have the stairs for direct beach access (Most homes did not have this feature). We were impressed that the owners provided more than adequate supplies to get us started on the stay (soap, shampoo, laundry soap, dishware soap, paper towels, etc)...many owners skimp on this which is very inconvenient. Great view of the beach from living room, kitchen and deck. The owner went the extra mile providing clamming gun and crab pots for the guests to use."

"Gorgeous view
The house was smaller than it looked in the pictures but it ended up being the perfect size for us. The view is amazing!!! I rented the house solely for the view and it was worth it. Bedrooms were a good size. Kitchen was quite small but had all that we needed. To get to the beach you have to go down some very steep wooden stairs and then grab a rope to go down some big rocks. While my husband was carrying our 5 year old down to the beach, one of the stairs broke which was pretty scary. To me it's more of a rental for the view, not beach combing. It was nice they accepted pets but the yard isn't totally fenced. There's a deck but there's no railing and the house is on a cliff so I didn't trust my dog or 5 year old outside. If you are looking for an ocean rental for the view this is a great place"

"Great Trip
The home is very adequate in size for 6 people.
We were thankful that they allow pets. Quiet beach and with Sea Lions in the morning and Whales spouting all day. The stairs to the beach are a little scary and they would not be adequate for older OR elderly people to access the beach. Over all great time!"

The picture is misleading. Furniture is very uncomfortable. View is fabulous. Getting to the beach from the home is tenuous. Could be cleaner and updated. Bathrooms are small, fixtures and heating fans not clean. Kitchen was well stocked. All appliances worked. They allow pets so that needs to be taken into consideration as to living area. "

"Very disappointed, thank God for that view and beach
I researched many many places on the coast and chose this one because of it's previous positive reviews and location. We were so very disappointed. The kitchen was filthy. Inside every drawer or cupboard was dust, grime, crumbs, sticky messes.. it was so gross. We woke up the first morning to ants all over the kitchen and across the front wall to the front door. It took me 45 mins to clean them away before I could even get my kids some breakfast. Gross. I called and they sent people to "fix it" but the next morning was worse and each morning we had to kill ants for so long before we could use the kitchen. The master ensuite was unpleasant. There's a severely rusted out floor heater that needs to be replaced and we didn't use the shower in there because of how dirty it looked.
The view and the beach are amazing but for someone who spent countless hours researching where to stay and what home to choose, a filthy kitchen is not optimal when you have 3 kids to cook for. Between that and the ants, we avoided using the kitchen as much as we could, dining out all the time was not in the plan and obviously this trip ended up costing us a lot more than we'd have preferred.
We ended up extending our trip to the coast and were very happy to stay elsewhere when our rental here was up. "

"View - Great, Dog smell and hair, not great
We were a little disappointed with this rental. The home smelt of dog, and there was dog hair in the master bed and carpets. Kitchen was dated and dishes were dirty. One of the steps outside needs caution tape on it, as both myself and my son took a header off of it. I twisted my ankle and skinned my knees.

"Worst Experience Ever
We scheduled the vacation for 2016... had a family death... and they were nice enough to allow us to move the reservation... this is where the issues started.
The pricing went up dramatically. We only got half the amount of days. We still had credit and asked to use it for 2 days later in the summer, told no. Although it is not written anywhere in our documentation.
The location was dirty (had pictures). Bathroom walls had water damage, kitchen was dirty, everything is old and out dated.Yard was not kept up. Grill was dirty. Someone had emptied the old ashes in the path to from deck to ocean.
Do not stay here. This is not worth the money at all.. pictures show a hilton, this is a Motel 6 at best."
