Luxurious Villa Ruby offers a spacious sanctuary in a private setting far from the bustling town of San Pedro.
Let the sun and gentle breezes gently awaken you from any of the spacious bedrooms. Ease into the morning with coffee on the expansive deck overlooking the emerald waters of the Caribbean while taking in the sunrise. Spend a lazy day at the pool just steps away or have a private sunbath on one of the two upper decks.
Our open concept villa is perfectly configured for large families, wedding parties or couples travelling together. The interior of the villa features Central American antiques and local art work for all to enjoy. There are 5 bedrooms and 5.5 private bathrooms allowing you to comfortably sleep 10 guests.
Our concierge would be delighted to book an in-room massage or arrange with our partners to take you on an amazing Belizean adventure. Alternatively, hop on one of our complimentary bicycles and perhaps take in a yoga class on the dock. Kayaks are also available so that you may explore the worlds' second largest coral reef just minutes from our shoreline. Should a visit to San Pedro Town be of interest, you may access town by golf cart, island ferry or private water taxi.
When the sun goes down, curl up on the hammock with a good book, relax and watch a movie on the flat screen TV, or challenge your guests to a game of cards. Stroll to one of several top restaurants minutes away. Or dinner can be prepared by chef in the fully equipped kitchen and enjoyed by candlelight in the separate dining room or casually around the oversized kitchen island.

"Wonderful Vacation!
Property was gorgeous, but above all the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. House was large, clean, and very tranquil. Little far away from bars and restaurants so I recommend getting a golf cart rental. The water taxi from the end of the dock is also a nice and convenient way for transportation. Michaela went above and beyond to ensure we had our every want taken care of and responded very quickly. Grounds were kept beautiful and everyone was very friendly. "

"Beautiful but.....
The home is beautiful and spacious enough for 3 families. The property is kept immaculate; including the pool and the beach. The property is 50 years from the beach. But the view is obstructed by the palm trees. The property manager was A+; available 24/7 with all of our needs. Maintenance hoped to it as well. However, cant give this stay 5 stars b/c for a “beach vacation” there were not enough towels to keep a family of 9 supplied....the expectation was you do you own laundry. The laundry was part of the house but you had to go outside to the back of the house to use it. Although housekeeping was obligated to do our towels daily, they used our laundry to do others towels! WHAT? Housekeeping not so accommodating or friendly. "

"Perfect 40th Birthday at Villa Ruby
We selected the Villa Ruby to celebrate one of my best friend's 40th birthdays. There were 9 of us total, friends and family. This villa was perfect for us! The villa is located on the quieter end of the island which is exactly what we wanted. There was more than enough space, it was beautiful and clean. Unfortunately we couldn't swim at the beach due to the seaweed however there is a pool on the property and we took a trip to Secret Beach. I definitely recommend renting a golf cart to go into town and to get around on the island. Also, the Sundiver bar and restaurant a couple of doors down from the villa is great. Be sure to go on Sunday for the bonfire and reggae band. I have been talking about Villa Ruby nonstop since my return and would definitely stay here again!"

"A true vacation
The week with family and friends was wonderful. Alexa and Helmer were always responsive and helped make our stay special. The house is over 30 minutes from town so it was a nice place to really unwind - not much is in walking distance. To be noted, we were there in early June and the sea grass, or was it sargasso, was abundant so no swimming in the ocean from the beach at the home and it was a bit smelly, but nothing that could be controlled - staff were out there raking it out of the ocean every day - and bug spray is a must - mosquitoes feasted on some of us. The marine life in the reef was AMAZING! The snorkeling, night snorkeling, snuba, scuba, fishing were why we were there and Amergris Caye did not disappoint. And some of us also had lovely massages under the palapa on the dock, and went to a chocolate making class in was a true vacation"

"Rooms with a view!
Our stay at La Perla was fantastic with just a few qualifiers. Villa Ruby was a great house for a family or a group of friends, although a couple of the bedrooms would be better suited for kids than an adult couple. The grounds were immaculate and the staff fantastic, however, there is no way they can keep up with removing the seagrass from the beach as it is a MAJOR problem with the entire coastline this time of year. The water is beautiful & the fishing is world class, but the beaches leave much to be desired.The last couple miles of "road" out to La Perla is pot hole filled & an extremely rough ride in a golf cart, so be prepared!"

"Our stay January 16th to 26th
Spent 10 days in your house. Great desing but lack some renovation and decoration. Unable to use the great room upstare for the lack of drapes. Kichen appliances and cabinets were in bad conditions. Dishwasher did not work and the housekeeper did not enjoyed the extra work so we had to re-wash a lot of dishes. Too bad because the spot is great. You should also include carts in the price of the house (Had it to location cost) because of the distance to downtown San Pedro. Because of these things, I would recommand the place but not the unit to peaple looking for relax time and that did not want to swim in the ocean."
