Long Island Breeze Compound offers a main house, a guest house and large pool enclosed in park like grounds! This beautiful Compound offers a total of 5 bedrooms and a den with sleeper sofa to comfortably sleep 12 guests. Located one block from Saunders Beach, a half mile of white sand with calm turquoise water, protected by several islands offshore. The Compound is close to the main West Bay Street and about 10 minutes from downtown Nassau, convenient to Atlantis, Paradise Island, the new Baha Mar resort and the famous Cable Beach strip with shops, bars, restaurants and gambling outlets. A stay of 7 nights or longer comes with a free round of golf for one guest at the renowned Ocean Club golf course. Additional rounds can be arranged by the owner at discounted rates.
The Long Island Breeze Compound is gated and fully fenced with main house and guest house separated by the large pool (with pool house and full bath) and expansive deck. Enter the 3300 sf main house through the double wooden doors into the dramatic 2 story entry and enjoy the comfortable modern Bahamian decor. On the first floor you will find a spacious great room with 60” screen TV and dining table to seat 10 which overlooks the pool through a set of French doors. Separate formal living room. Modern gourmet island kitchen with gas stove top, granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances with pass through to living area. Upstairs offers 3 bedrooms (two kings and one queen) plus a separate den with sleeper sofa that can be used as a 4th bedroom. All bedrooms have large flat screen TV's. The master bedroom allows a glimpse of the ocean from the deck, and a cedar dressing room. The luxurious master bath features a jetted tub, shower and dual sinks. Bedroom #2 has deck overlooking the pool, the den with sleeper sofa also overlooks the pool and Bedroom #3 overlooks the gardens. Plantation shutters throughout add to the airy ambiance.
The very private Guest House offers a separate gated entry and double doors which lead to the art filled living area that is flooded with light from the skylight. The décor is a sophisticated eclectic mix of upscale city with a Bahamian flair and features a piano! The cathedral ceiling adds to the drama. The gourmet kitchen has granite countertops, a double oven and double sink. The two king bedroom suites are upstairs and both offer balconies (one balcony overlooks the pool and the other balcony overlooks the gardens), French doors, window seat and Plantation shutters. Both have en-suite baths. The house also has a half bath on the first floor. The outdoor trellised patio offers private outdoor space to enjoy the gardens.
The Compound has abundant outside space including a large pool, patio and a lush green lawn. The manicured grounds offer many colorful gardens with fruit trees and bougainvillea galore.
Amenities include Security System, safe, WIFI, cable TV, washer/dryer and air conditioning throughout.

Cancellation of or changes to your reservation must be made in writing (e-mail or fax is acceptable). If you cancel more than 90 days before your scheduled arrival, 20% of the total rental amount will retained by Homeowner and the balance refunded to you. If you cancel 90 days or less before your arrival, 100% of your total rental fee will be retained by Homeowner. No-shows, late arrivals, or early departure for any reason, including but not limited to inclement weather or illness, are non-refundable. Homeowner recommends trip insurance to protect Renter against loss from such events.

"Bahamas trip 2023
Great experience. Ray, Sonja and her mom are very nice. We enjoy them. Its about a 5 min walk to public beach where many locals go. We found walking on down to the public hotel beaches a little better. Food/groceries are very expensive there so plan accordingly."

"Four Generations Family Vacation
The Long Island Breeze Compound is more than FANTASTIC!
We stayed in 2017 with all adults and had to come back now with the young adults and kids. The property has a fabulous Main House with everything including washer and dryer. The Guest House is like a mini Main House. We had our own pool and plenty of beautiful trees, flowers and tropical plants all around the Compound. I keep teasing the owner that I going to take their entire property back state side.
We rented a Yacht, Swam with the Dolphins, Shopped, Ate at Straw Market, went to Atlantis and toured the Island. Our Family Vacation was Fabulous for 6 days!"

"AMAZING
The house was very nice. We enjoyed the pool area where we spent a lot of time. The guest house was gorgeous. Sonja was very welcoming, and met us at the property to explain the safety features of the house. If you like lots of drinking water, use the big blue bottles in the garage to fill at the grocery stores. Otherwise, you are charged a fee for both water and the bottle. And, no money when bottles are returned. It was just like home with all the accommodations. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone traveling to Nassau. "

"Spacious and Relaxing
We were able to check in early which was helpful for our large group. The property grounds are huge and the landscaping absolutely beautiful. Houses felt secure and had workable security systems. Kitchen reasonably well stocked for a rental, had lots of spices from previous guests for example. Pool isn't heated so it was mostly the kids that used it a lot. Pool area is large and has a couple different seating areas. Could use a few new chair cushions. Has a gas grill, although it's been heavily used and we couldn't find a grill scraper - so that would be a good pick-up. Hosts were exceptionally quick to respond to questions, helpful, friendly, and obviously take pride in their beautiful property. Payment was easy and no drama with deposits. Most of the bedrooms are suites between the 2 houses so that was really great for the adults in our group. We put the kids in the smaller couple rooms with just double or queen beds. For transportation on the island, it's so easy to just walk to Bay St and flag down a mini bus for $1.25 pp. Saunders Beach across the street is pretty, close, great water color, safe for swimming. Although if you snorkel you will see a lot of trash. Overall, the house and grounds were so big and pleasant and peaceful that we rarely felt compelled to go elsewhere. It was really nice space to be and just luxuriate outside with perfect weather and good friends. Would definitely recommend this accommodation. Thank you for the great stay and hospitality!"

"Best Family Christmas Ever.
My wife and I, our two sons and wives and three grandchildren spent a great week at this most beautiful home and gardens. The property was just as advertised. The home owners and property managers were concerned and prompt to take care of all our problems and concerns. The location was amazing. We were close to all activities and a very nice beach was a 5 minute walk.If we have a chance to come back, this is where we would want to stayand will recommend it to all our friends and family looking for a vacation destination."

"Great location close to everything!!
We went to the Bahamas for my daughters graduation. What a beautiful place! Our group of 13 stayed between the two houses on the property. The house is in a great location and is close to everything. Both houses are very well kept. The pool is serviced twice a week. Sonja and her mom are the perfect hosts! So friendly and very helpful!! The neighborhood is very quiet and just a short walk to the beach. I suggest renting a car to get around. Would stay at this property again if ever back in Nassau!! Thank you to the owners for making our trip so special!"
