Welcome to 6507 LAKE COTTAGE 2023! We look forward to a great year at the lake and invite you to check our calendar for open dates! Repeat guests represent nearly half of our reservations. We are now taking reservations for 2023 and invite you to email us with your thoughts and questions. Put your name in early for openings on our calendar for next season!

6507 is located on the North shore of Webster Lake. With over 600 acres of water to enjoy, Webster is the third largest natural lake in Indiana. Enjoy a relaxing cup of coffee or a family breakfast from our large deck overlooking the early morning lake activities. Stretch out by our new fire pit and take in the great sunsets that often are seen from the deck!
Driving distance from Indy or Chicago is just a strong two hours and the Cottage is less than an hour from either South Bend or Fort Wayne. Many shops and activities are nearby. Whether Antiques or Amish Bakeries, Miniature golf or driving ranges, there will be plenty to fill your time.
6507 has been totally renovated for our guests recently. You will enjoy viewing all of the boating action from the sunroom, deck or pier. From Kayaks to sailboats and pontoons to fishing boats we have room for yours on our generous pier just steps from the back door.
Take a tour on THE DIXIE one evening, Indiana’s oldest sternwheel paddle boat, a relaxing way to see the lake while learning about the local history. If you are interested in renting a pontoon, we can give you the names of a few marinas that do so.
If you are a fisherman, you are in luck! Webster is known as the best Musky lake in the Midwest with big fish caught each year, tournaments draw anglers from near and far. Bass, bluegill, crappie catfish and other species also inhabit these waters so bring your tackle and enjoy!

Fishing, swimming, tubing, skiing. Golf at several nice courses. Waterski club has performances during the summer. Several excellent restaurants, wineries and grocery stores nearby. Warsaw, Goshen, Shipshewana, Elkhart and Nappanee just a short drive away.

2023 rates:
With a six night minimum our rates are $350 per night except holiday weeks listed below.
The following will be $450/night and a 6 night minimum.
May 22nd to June 4th
June 26th to July 9th
August 28th to Sept. 10th
Weekly rental only, 6 night minimum from May 1 to November 1. With check in on Mondays after 4:00 p.m. and check out by 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
A damage deposit of $450 also serves as your down payment with signing the contract when returned.
All payments including a $175 cleaning fee will be due four weeks prior to your stay.
No smoking or pets allowed for the benefit of future guests and our neighbors.
Applicant is 100% responsible for accidents, property damage or personal injuries.

"We had a great week at 6507. I can not say enough about how nice and clean this lake house is. And I can be kinda picky about cleanliness. Our family that we had up to visit couldn’t believe how clean and nice it was for a lake rental. Very up to date. Furniture and bedding very comfortable. We packed way too much because this rental has it all. A lot of our things we just left in the car because we didn’t need it. The owners have really thought of just about everything to make it an accommodating stay. They even had complimentary coffee and wine that were both really good. We thought that was very sweet and above and beyond what a renter needs to do. Beautiful view. The family used and really enjoyed the kayaks and canoe available with 6507. All were newer and in great condition. Jim was great to work with and very helpful. He made great suggestions on places in the area and food. Highly recommend the burgers at Mancave. Hope to return and look forward to renting from Jim again! "

"We had a great stay with friends at #6507 Cottage on Lake Webster August 3rd – August 8th, 2020.
The cottage was very clean with all the amenities we needed. The 6507 Lakeshore Java coffee was especially good.
Weather was nice and cool for August- requiring a light jacket in the morning! The deck was our favorite spot- enjoying morning coffee; meals at the large table; having snacks and cocktails in the afternoon; watching the action on the lake (bring your binoculars), the ducks and the black squirrels.
The Adirondack chairs were a great spot for napping, book reading, and viewing the sunsets.
North Webster had nice antique shops and a produce stand to just south of town. We had an excellent meal at WESTMAIN Kitchen in Syracuse, IN. (reservations required – book early). They can be found on Facebook and Trip Advisor.

"Our holiday at this #6507 lake cottage was delightful! The house was everything we needed while being spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. It is set in a peaceful spot on the lake with beautiful views making it easy to unwind. We enjoyed the kayaks and canoe, swimming off the long pier, reading and drinking our morning coffee on the back porch, playing games in the yard and watching the sunsets while sitting around the firepit. The owners are super personable providing everything we needed and going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed our time there. We will return again! "

"We had a wonderful time bringing our family to this cottage. The cottage was extremely clean and modern in its decor. We enjoyed sharing meals on the deck and in the four seasons room. The water was great for tubing and boating. There was a great place to dock multiple watercraft. Our guys and some girls really enjoyed the fishing. We caught nearly 100 fish during our stay, we threw most of them back for the next guests:).
Overall we would highly recommend this cottage, we have booked again for next year.

"Clean, cozy and comfortable! Fantastic fishing right off of the peer. Many bluegill, sunfish, bass and even a perch joined in on the fun! Our family of 7 felt right at home. Wifi and satellite programs were great. Small touches made the difference...nice linens, comfy beds (kids LOVED the bunk beds) and even the paper towels and dishwasher soap were provided! And for you coffee lovers, a special blend of ground coffee was a lovely surprise. Host lives close by and made us feel quite welcome while respecting our space. We brought our own boat which made accessing the rest of the lake easy and enjoyable. The neighborhood was friendly and everyone made us feel welcome. The cove was quiet and the sunsets were amazing! We grilled out, made a bonfire complete with smores and took advantage of the canoe and kayak. We look forward to returning one day very soon. "

"Just stayed at this wonderful Lake Webster lake house and had such a fun and relaxing time. We enjoyed swimming, sunning, fires in the evening, and canoeing. We didn’t take walks in Epworth Forest or kayak but we could have. We enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen. All appointments, appliances and furniture are practically new. We slept great! Hosts are the best! Will definitely return! Thanks for such a nice gat away!!"

"Just returned from three nights at this comfortable, clean, and attractive cottage. What a nice cottage that has everything you need! The cottage is updated just like the photos with high quality furnishings and kitchen items. The beds were great and the outside seating area was a wonderful place to take in the view. This cottage is close to town which allows you to run to in quickly if needed. I had a great time and will suggest this rental to friends. Thanks, Jim, for being a great host. "

"My husband and I stayed @ 6507 the week of October 7th during my fall break. The house is very nice and clean. The furnishings, bedding, towels, etc...are very nice quality. The pictures shown are exactly what the home looks like so you will not be disappointed. Jim was great and I appreciated his communication regarding the lake house. My husband enjoyed the kayak and I enjoyed the walking path. It was a great week and we hope to return next year. Boiler Up!"

"Cabin 6507 on Webster Lake was wonderful. The cabin was very nice and clean. The manager was very helpful with coordinating my visit. The outdoor deck was great to relax on and had a great view. Our group of four adults caught four musky during the week and many largemouth bass. The pier and boat lift worked out great for our boats. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed. The short distance from deck to pier was convenient for hauling fishing gear. We had a great time on this fishing vacation."

"My friends and I just returned from a Girls Weekend weekend at this cottage. It is so clean and so lovely! We really enjoyed having coffee and breakfast in the sun room and lounging around on the large deck. We also had access to kayaks and a large raft which provided tons of fun. We are definitely going to stay here again!"

"We would definitely recommend staying at 6507. It is nicely remodeled and accomodated our family of 10 comfortably. We especially enjoyed the front porch and the large deck. We were only able to stay 3 and a half days and caught 95 blue gill, 30 bass and 1 nice muskie. We give it a thumbs up!!"

"6507 Lake Cottage on North Webster is a peaceful dream! We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Our days were spent sunning on the dock, floating in the giant raft, and taking spins in the kayaks. The evenings were spent grilling out, relaxing on the deck and watching the local "wildlife" (adorable squirrels and birds abound). Breath-taking sunsets were accompanied by cocktails and the calming sounds of the lake. The attention to detail in the home and on the grounds is impeccable (landscaping, decor, supplies and information about the area - top notch). The local area has wonderful little shops, and there is a full-service grocery store just minutes away with a surprisingly wonderful wine selection - no need to pre-shop! 6507 Lake Cottage is an amazing place to get away, and I can't think of a better way to burn some well-earned vacation days. We will definitely be back! "
