Horton Lake Plantation is situated on 6 wooded acres. The house has 3 bedrooms (one of which is the "bunk house" and sleeps 7 people) and 2 baths. One bath has a Jacuzzi tub. The 2-story house boasts a screen balcony that is 33' long with fans, rocking chairs and chaise lounges (suitable for sleeping). There is also a 33' long screened porch on the lower level. Every room has a view of the lake and all the upstairs rooms have balconies.
The house is very well equipped, with plenty of towels, plush bed linens and we even stock the pantry with staple foods for your convenience.
The Plantation is located on the best part of Lake D'arbonne, the "Big Lake", which is the favorite skiing and boating area. We have our own boat ramp and the pier offers one of the favorite fishing holes on the lake...catfish, white perch, bream, bass...
The Plantation also offers a beautiful and unique venue for your wedding. There is plenty of room inside and out. We will build your personal wedding package for you.
There's one big problem with Horton Lake Plantation...you won't want to leave!

Everything is there for your convenience...just bring your food and clothes. The pantry is stocked with staple foods and there is a grill for cooking out.
Activities:
Farmerville is nearby (5 miles) and has a Wal-Mart, Brookshire's Grocery, several restaurants, etc. Ruston is about 20 miles away and has lots of cute shops and boutiques. West Monroe is about 20 miles away, also, and has Antique Alley, Restaurant Row, etc.
