Our private island is available by the week or by the event. You can find full information on the Treasure Island website, listed as a link below.
Though we can sleep over a large family, we feel the highest use of the property would be as a romantic retreat for a couple. As for special events, the island has seen some wonderful weddings, birthdays, and fund raisers. We are approximately two hours from Chicago by car, and only a brief hop by private plane from Chicago to Fulton County Airport at shore side. Indianapolis is approximately an hour and a half from Treasure Island.

Please note, we offer a day use special event charge (weddings, retreats, etc) for $1500 which allows for two additional days of setup time and one day of teardown (four days in all).

Amenities:
1 1/4 acre island surrounded by incredible beauty. Historic turn of the century cottage fully restored and with 200 amp service provided from shore. Central air conditioning and heat. Wireless dsl link and limited digital TV with dvd player.
Shoreside property with lots of parking, pier, and pontoon boat for access to the island and touring the lake. Four kayaks on the island for exploring the lake's wetlands and Rain Creek.
Activities:
Swimming, fishing, kayaking, halfway between Notre Dame and Purdue for football weekends (approx. 65 miles). Great lake for waterskiing. Exceptional platform for enjoying wildlife and wildlife photography (see our blog on the website under "Island Chronicles").
Rates:
For weekly rental: 2100/week, 500 security/reservation deposit.
For special event day use: $1500 We recognize that some events such as a wedding or corporate retreat might require some set up time prior to the big day. We are happy to allow for such time in the rate quoted (up to four days in all). We are happy to negotiate longer periods for day usage as well. Call 574 223-4075 for details.
