Contact advertiser for specific directions.   Description Imagine the marriage of the houseboat in the movie "Sleepless in Seattle" to a private, luxury executive home having some of the genes from the roof garden in "Just Like Heaven" and throw in the feeling you get walking the full length of your own outer deck on a cruise ship. A grandfather clause has allowed the building of this newer, gorgeous, Mediterranean style home directly out over the water. This unique home is cantilevered over the lake and 2/3 of the home sits above the lake on high grade concrete pillars. The surface of the water is 5 to 8 feet below the house and the depth of the lake under the railing is 8 to 13 feet depending on time of year. There is a Mediterranean type rooftop that is the size of the entire house: fountains, garden with herbs, flowers and berries in raised beds, Asian pear and apple espaleried trees, sandy area for play and lounging, two sets of table and chairs--one with small barbeque pit in middle. Come by yourself or bring your honey or your family or friends. The master bedroom has a comfy king sized bed and its own bathroom with a sink, a toilet and a double sized steam shower. The second bedroom has a luxurious queen sized bed and is a few steps from the main bathroom which has a sink, a toilet and a combination shower/bathtub. There is also a tiny room with a futon that folds down into a double bed for an extra guest or two if they like to be cozy. And there is a nook for one or two additional smaller guests in the living room with an inviting day bed with two stacked sleeping pads 30 inches wide by 6 feet that can be used where they are, or removed and used together or separately on the floor. You will be amazed at the beautiful quality craftsmanship and top quality construction. Even though you will be within a pleasant drive to most any activity you could possibly imagine--from skiing in the Cascade Mountains and island hopping in the San Juans, to shopping and fine dining, you will never want to leave this house... Come and see! A personal note: We have traveled the world, but have never found accommodations we love more than our Lakehouse. It is a joy to share this very special place with you while we are away. We have already had more happiness in our years here than some people have in an entire life time!! Bathrooms 28 and 29’. -Large two car garage (10' 8" clearance above and 20 ' long) with windows opening to the lake. -Parking for two or three cars in the driveway (23 feet length) -RV or trailer possible. -Large capacity washer and dryer. -Linens. Regular maid service for extra fee.  Activities: FISH for bass or perch or trout (3 varieties)—last year a six pound bass and a 22 inch rainbow! BIRDWATCH: eagles, osprey, loons, herons, hummingbirds, seagulls, ducks, geese. View otter, beaver, and eagles who live on the lake. SWIM, SAIL, CANOE or motor out on our 14 by 16 foot raft/dock. (Go 15 minutes to Puget Sound or 20 to Lake Washington for power boat launching.) RELAX on the rooftop “beach” or pick garden berries and fruits in season. GATHER herbs from our rooftop raised beds. MAKE delicious meals for yourself in our dream of a kitchen. EAT on the roof overlooking the lake. MARVEL at the pinks and golds of the setting sun followed by the magic of the lights across the lake or the moon and stars reflecting in the water. PUTT on the putting green. WALK around the lake (2 mile trip) and stop at one of the parks or restaurants. LEARN to dance from a "Dancing With the Stars Couple".
