Backcountry skiing, snowshoeing and sledding in the winter quickly become summer hiking and biking trails in the summer and all are literally steps from your door. If your are more of a flat area or track-skier, try a lap or two around our private 110-acre lake, after it freezes of course. When the water is open this is an excellent trout fishing lake, swimming, paddling, or sailing lake. A private dock and beach complete with paddle crafts are available to our guests. When civilization and or the downhill slopes call head 30 highway miles to Steamboat for everything you expect from a resort community. The property is 5 highway miles from Rabbit Ears pass, about 70 miles to Summit and Winter Park Ski areas, and 170 miles from DIA, so this location is private, but not remote.
