Experience the feel of yesterday's charm throughout this classic 1920's family-sized cottage with a wide front porch just 20-ft from the water's edge. Enjoy rocking and sipping your coffee or cocktails while overlooking the lake. Motor boats are welcome, you have use of the dock.
Spend your vacation in the water, on our beach, canoeing, or kayaking to Pierce Island where the kids will enjoy a rope swing that hangs out over the water. There's also a big grassy back yard for outdoor sports.
Tastefully furnished with many antiques and original wainscoting. Amenities include outdoor gas grill, microwave, TV, and wood burning fireplace.
Swimming, boating, sailing, golfing and fishing are just a few of the activities that the Spofford Lake area has to offer! A ten minute ride will bring you to some great restaurants in Keene NH and Brattleboro VT.
Outdoor gas grill under huge Oak shade tree, wide front porch 20 ft to the water, sandy beach, dock & raft, private road, cable TV, upholstered porch swing. Five upstairs bedrooms: 1 room with twin beds, 2 rooms with one double bed, and 2 rooms with two double beds.
Activities:
Swimming, boating, sailing, golfing and fishing are just a few of the activities that the region has to offer! A ten minute ride will bring you to some great restaurants in Keene NH and Brattleboro VT. Nearby island to explore, excellent fishing. Climb Mt. Monadnock in Jaffrey. Lots of lakeside walking or go for a hike in Chesterfield Gorge or Mt Pisgah State Park only 5 minutes away.
Rates:
$1,900 for full week, Sunday 1pm to Sunday Noon
$1,500 for partial week, 5-days prior to Labor Day
$600 for Fri-Sun in the post-season weekends (Sept-Oct)
