"I was looking for a place where my husband could forget about work-stress and found it!This was our best vacation ever(and that's comparing it to waterfront vacations in OuterBanks,Key West,Jamaica etc.)We stayed in the smaller cottage,rustic,charming,magical.Anyplace you can rest your head you can see(and hear) the lake.The lakefront dock and beach with it's gazebo and firepit were all we needed.The 2 level deck was perfect for meals,we rediscovered that charcoal grilling is better and easy!The hammock for napping, an old fashioned wooden swing and these two empty-nesters and their dog were in heaven.We hiked from our cottage,found a local cave and lots more.If you feel the need to leave paradise,there are local wineries,arts and lots of nature sites.The best treasure of all is Elly,the owner,she has 70+ years of local lure to tell,went golfing with my husband at course behind "our" woods and instinctively knows when to interact with guests or not.This is a very special place.Barbara" Aug 19, 2007 - Barbara MacDonald
