The two bedrooms have twin beds and a double bed and have a full bath located between them. The fully furnished basement has a large family room with game tables and a hide-a-bed. The house has heat and air conditioning, fireplace, deck, washer/dryer, TV and VCR. The fully-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, dishes, and pots and pans. Linens and towels are provided. A 13 acre private lake is located on the property. A trolling fishing boat and a paddle boat are available for rent (for use on this lake only). The lakefront property has a picnic table and barbecue grill. No pets inside the lodge. Accommodations for your dogs are available. Smoking is not allowed. The house is not handicapped accessible. The home is secluded and quiet with 400 acres of wooded hills, 13 acre private lake and open meadows. Big Hill Lake is nearby and water recreation includes swimming, fishing, boating and water skiing. Other nearby recreation includes golf, hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, and hunting. Big Hill Lake covers 1,240 acres and is one of the clearest lakes in Kansas. The lake is noted for largemouth Bass, Crappie, Channel and Flathead Catfish, and small mouth Bass. Big Hill Lake has fishing tournaments throughout the year. Big Hill Lake has been listed by Field and Stream magazine as one of the "Top 20 Bass Lakes". The lake is formed inside of 20 square miles of shoreline with 1,240 acres of surface, at normal pool. No-shows or guest leaving prior to the departure will be charged for the original reservations unless the lodge is re-booked. Changes to reservations must be made seven days prior to your arrival date. Cancellations received within seven days prior to your arrival date will be subject to a penalty of the full amount of the deposit. Visa and Mastercard accepted. Hunting: 400 acres of private land for hunting deer or turkey and other game birds. You must have all personal gear needed. License requirements are the responsibility of each guest. There are many activities for the entire family. Bring the kids for a great weekend getaway, where they can hike around Big Hill Lake or other trails nearby, or begin or improve on their fishing skills on the 13 acre private lake.
